Not the best location I've been to. Ordered online for pick up. Very simple order. Medium cheese pizza, one side half grilled chicken, with extra sauce. I added extra sauce because I've noticed at several other pizza places here in Lawton, they barely put ANY sauce on pizzas. I'm talking just cheese and bread. Got to pick up, my husband goes inside and brings it to the car. I check it and the pizza isn't cut into slices. He goes back in to ask them to cut it and he's inside for a while. Mind you, I can see inside and there's not a lot of customers. Not busy at all. He finally comes back to the car and mentions that there are a lot of staff working but they're simply standing around. Get home to taste the pizza and of course, it's just bread and cheese. Barely any sauce in some bites and definitely not enough to say they made it with extra sauce. Should've looked at the reviews and seen this location only had two stars before choosing. I just wanted something different than Marco's and Dominoes and my awful experience at Fat Boys pizza. Sad to say this Papa John's location didn't satisfy my pregnancy cravings and I only ate a few slices. read more

Just eating the food reminded me why I don't order or eat Papa John's Pizza. I went from eating the weird recommended "breaded" style of GA to OK wet style hot wings...I prefer mine to be Traditional Bone-In, Extra Crispy. To my deliverer, I'm sorry I didn't catch your name but your amazing for being kind and providing us with cups and plates with the inconvenience bc Jeremy forgot to make the note even after clarifying on the phone that he would tell the kitchen and driver; but mistakes happen and thanks for being open so late. I wish that I had read the other reviews first. But, I assumed all Papa John's had the same standards. OBVIOUSLY NOT! I ordered online and watched it go through the process online. As I sat at the drive thru; I watched it being boxed. When I got to my hotel minutes later, it was ice cold and looked like it had barely cooked. The girl at the window was courteous and friendly. But there is clearly something wrong with the oven. This pizza visibly looked only partially cooked. I would not recommend this place to an enemy. This is clearly an owner/managent problem! Horrible customer service for carry out. They give horrible looks after they see you don't give a tip for printing a receipt. It's already paid for through the app online. I'm the one who drove to pick it up. All you have to do is grab my order from less than 2 feet behind you and turn back around. The pizza barely even has toppings on it! I ordered online, watch the order status when the status was delivering I waited outside. I live close so know the driver wouldn't take long. Received a call from the driver couldn't understand what he was saying, after trying several times to tell him how to get to my house he said he will call the store. I waited 10 minutes and then called the store myself. Told him I had placed an order gave them my name and my number and my address they couldn't find me in the computer system so they put me on hold. After 15 minutes the same person got back on the phone and asked me again for my name my phone number and my address. After waiting 15 minutes they still didn't know who I was and what my order was then they told me they will call me back I told them just to cancel the order. Wow what a disgrace of a papa Johns! Not only did they not deliver my pizza but they marked it as delivered on the tracking. They claimed that I did not have my phone number on file but looking into the papa Johns app I see that my current number was in there. The manager lacks management experience as he claimed it was my fault and there was nothing he could do for me. He is a prime example of a true embarrassment of papa Johns leadership. The Lawton papa Johns should get a new manager or train their managers as they clearly have issues. It's pretty terrible that I have issues well before receiving my food. Papa Johns needs to look into this and crush this before it gets out of hand. If I was a manager and this issue happened I would push it off on the customer. I would address it as a mistake of papa Johns assure the customer it wouldn't happens again and give the customer something for them having to waste the most precious thing they have "Time". We usually order from here with no problems. Tonight was different. I made an online order with half hamburger on one side, and half jalapeños and black olives on the other. When I got home we noticed it was full of black olives and the jalapeños were in the wrong side. I should have checked it, we hadn't had a reason to check at this papa johns before. We will check before leaving with the pizza from now on. We still ate it, but had to basically rebuild it to what we originally specified. read more

He order over the phone and confirmed his address and phone number multiple times. We were told 35 minutes...well an hour later and no pizza, so my husband called the store. They rudely tell him that they tried to deliver the pizza but no one answered the door. We were literally sitting in our front room watching through our open windows the entire time. Not a soul even drove by our house...then they tell him they tried to call but his phone number didn't work. Well that's also untrue. Not a single missed call and even double checked my account for cell service to make sure it wasn't mysteriously turned off...well that's all they said. This Papa John's location has the worst customer service/management ever. I was given a handful of free pizza coupons from Cameron University that are valid through 12/18. However, this Papa John's location refuses to honor them, saying that they changed general managers and thus won't accept the coupons anymore. I don't understand how a location can just refuse to accept valid, unexpired coupons. It isn't my fault that they changed leadership, and I wasn't given any sort of indication or warning that my coupons would no longer be valid. Had I been, I would have looked to use them, instead of now just having them go to waste. My family and I ordered 3 pizzas. When they got here they were all wrong. Not one was made correctly. One of the pizzas was a create your own and all the toppings were just on one side and the topping that was supposed to be all over the pizza was only on one side opposite where everything else was that shouldn't have been there. When I tried to call the store I was on hold for 5 minutes then someone answered just to ask if I could hold again. I was on hold for 10 more minutes before I decided to call it quits. This was the worst experience after we have had many good ones here and I am highly dissatisfied because I spent $41 on this order. read more
