We drove all the way from Petoskey just to eat this pizza; our family favorite. The taste is so good. And we always receive great customer service from the employees and they made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. They definitely went above and beyond. And because of that we will be back. My kids were super satisfied and I was too. The food was so good as always. The store was clean and quiet. The menu was on the wall soon as you walk in on your right. It was lit up well and the items were very detailed explaining what items were what. The service was fast and the food was great. Delivery | Dinner | $20-30 Sunday September 24th we called at 6:55 P.M to order a large pizza and garlic knots wa told 35-40 minutes until it would be delivered. By 8:00/8:10 I called to see what was going on. Was informed our pizza wasn't even picked up to be delivered yet and would be soon as the driver was on his way back. I asked why was it taking so long because i was told 35-40 minutes and the woman had a attitude saying delivered time is 1 hr, then why was I told 35-40 minutes? The pizza didn't even show up until 8:35 P.m when I called at 6:55 so not far off from 2 hrs. It arrived Luke warm like it was just under a heat light. Not fresh looking at all. Ordered pizza last night to be delivered to the hotel. After 3 phone calls after waiting 45 minutes. We got warm pizza an hour and a half later. Not happy with warm pizza however taste was good. Rude person at the "call center" that said he was turning in at the hour mark and wasn't true at all. Delivery kid was nice and was apologetic for being late since he was the only one on for delivering. If they would have stated that I would have gotten my shoes on and GPSed my way there since I was on vacation. read more

I have no issue with the food, pizza was delicious, hot and delivered in less than an hour. My "Warning" however is with the delivery driver's vehicle. It dribbled oil up and down my driveway and as he parked and his truck sat, oil pooled underneath, so as he made a 3 point turn around he drove through the pool a few times and now there are oil tire tracks and pools of oil too. What a mess. I called the mgr and she said that she will tell the guy. that's it, nothing about offering a clean up? cleaning solution? How am i supposed to get this stuff off of my driveway? Not Cool. Won't be calling them again. I took pics but am not tech savey to post them. I guess they will come in handy when I need to drive around looking for a oil remover, and share my story of how my driveway got to looking so shabby. Papa John's is probably the best of the chain pizza companies. Sadly this location has personnel issues either through using third party delivery or through lack of proper training and overall quality control of their employees. The delivery driver never showed up with my order and when I left my house the next morning it was on the front step. So either the driver never knocked on my door or after I called an hour and half after my order to see where it was they quickly made the order and left it there. Furthermore when I called and asked about the order, the person on the phone was rude and basically said I would have to wait longer (than the hour and half I had already waited). When I asked about a refunding my order she wouldn't do that over the phone. I went to the location the next morning as soon as they open, finding the pizza's left on my front step along the way. Overall I would avoid this chain as they have many issues to sort out and will likely not be about to. read more

Horrible place to get pizza. High prices for low quality food. I just had the worst pizza experience I have ever had in my life. Paid $31 for a cold crappy pizza and 10 boneless wings that was missing the skin on it and was cold also. Do not get a BBQ pizza because there was uncooked huge pieces of onion on it. Why are onions not cooked? There raw. Omg this was so bad. So I just had a big sloppy pizza with cheese only on half of the pizza and uncooked onions thrown on it. Very dissatisfied. The pizzas were very well prepared, great amount of cheese to toppings ratio! There was a bit longer than expected wait time as it was a weekend, and they gave us a free pizza coupon in apology for the longer wait. The delivery man was very nice and left the pizzas to the side of the door as asked. Always loved papa johns and this store is no exception! read more

Ordered delivery to my hotel room, within thirty minutes my order arrived, the pizza, bread sticks and wings all were hot. The pizza is probably in my opinion the best of the chain style pizza places. The cheese and the sausage both were of a high quality and the garlic bread sticks were good. The wings lacked a bit of crispiness but they are wrapped in foil and put in a cardboard box for delivery so they tend to get a bit soggy. I would order from them again. read more

In my opinion Papa Johns is middle to the top of the list of all the chain pizza places. They have a great image and always have a clean and professional facility. The toppings and sauce are of good quality and the bread sticks are some of the best. I do wish the dough would be cooked a little bit more, although that is just how that chain makes the pizza. It's not the best and it's not the worst. When in doubt Papa Johns will get the job done for a good price. read more

Where to start first time ordered from them had a great experience. Second time was the worst experience I had messed up my order delivery took wrong pizza ,had to remake one pizza but remade the wrong one didn't even get the sizes right.
