I do like pickled onions but it just didn't work here. The bread was also barely grilled/toasted. My mom got an order of the tomato soup and it was so watery and bland. She said canned was better. The kid running the booth inside was completely checked out as well. Didn't even make eye contact with me as he precariously stacked the boxes with the soup on top, the pile almost fell over and some soup spilled a bit. No apologies. Didn't even offer me a bag so I carried it to my car and almost scalded my hand. It was a real bummer because I'd been wanting to try this place for so long but was never in town long enough to really fit it into our meal plan. The menu is simple, with carnivore or veggie dumplings which you can get in orders of three or five. Then you can choose either steamed or pan fried. Sometimes they have other items like kimchi or beverages, but the main focus is on the dumplings. I've had them several times and they are really good! They are pretty large and stuffed nicely. I usually get them pan fried and add some of their sweet sauce. Mandu are a tasty treat that you don't really see that often at restaurants in the area, so it's so nice to be able to get them at the market and around town! The owner is cool and fun to chat with and I always look forward to eating these dumplings.
