Papa Vito's is one of the few choices for late lunch in Millstadt. It proved to be a good choice no matter. Prices are very reasonable. Casual atmosphere, but plenty of seating. Service was great. I'm a huge fan of a bready dough for my pizza pick, so the thin crust was not really appealing for me. It was also very hard to cut through as if old. The topping was very tasty. read more

We love Papa Vito's in Millstadt! We always have good service, the food has never failed us. I'm obsessed with the Vito's Garden Salad and their peppercorn ranch is the best I've had. Their pizzas are STL thin crust style, and the pizza sauce is on the sweeter side, but we really enjoy the balance of flavors. It's one of our favorite places in Millstadt! read more

Just read a customer comment advising not to order to go from this location. I wish I would have read that before I did. Ordered a French dip sandwich to go. Asked if they would put mayo on the sandwich. I was told they don't do that. What? Employee went to check with the manager who happened to be on the phone with the owner. She came back and confirmed no mayo would be put on my sandwich. I did get mayo packets, but I find this so incredibly odd. To top it off, the sandwich was just okay. Nothing to rave about. Will I come back to this location? Not sure based on the comments about food quality below. I prefer the Belleville location over this one. read more

We got our drinks fast, the bread sticks were good. But the pizza sauce was to sweet. My server nice and refilled our drinks when they were empty. Overall though a good experience. read more

We have a tradition of stopping by Papa Vito's before or after visiting the Milstadt Eckert's each year, and it's always something to look forward to. The cheese-stuffed breadsticks have always been fresh and rich and are a great appetizer to the St. Louis-style thin-crust pizza. On yesterday's visit, we enjoyed a combo 14" pizza - half Hawaiian and half Buffalo Chicken with ranch on the side. Both halves were an incredibly cheesy, flavorful treat. The service is also always attentive and friendly each time we stop in. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Eckert's. read more

Service was excellent. Garlic cheese bread never disappoints. The pizza, however, not so good. It tasted like they used butter sauce instead of red pizza sauce. I asked the waitress if they used butter sauce, she said no, maybe it was the cheese. Cheese? Buttery cheese goes on popcorn not pizza. Tasted like a whole stick was on the pizza. I have always loved Papa Vito's and we always try to order it when we were in town. Last week we ordered it for my grandchildren., I went to pick it up and I was told that it wasn't quite ready and I needed to pull to other window. I pulled up to the window and waited about 10 minutes. They gave me my pizza and I left. When I got home, over have the pizza was burned so badly that it was not edible. This was the first time going to the location. We ordered the Cheesy Garlic Bread, and 2 16" Pizzas. The Garlic Bread was easily the savior for this trip. The flavor of the the bread was amazing, and the crispy outside and soft warm interior made it worth going. The pizza on the other hand was a little bland and could use some better sauce. They also didn't offer beer buckets or pitchers, so that was a bummer. Pro tip: Dip your pizza in the marinara sauce that comes with the Garlic Bread. read more

My friend called in for a pick up and when I arrived I had to wait while one if the workers took a customer's order. Meanwhile two other workers just stood behind the counter doing nothing. When I was finally helped they gave me the wrong pizza. I was almost home when I got a call saying I received the wrong order. I had to turn back around and to get the correct pizza. They didn't even apologize. When I finally arrived back home an hour later the pizza was cold. Awful service. read more

We were sent here for lunch. We were told to order a salad and pizza. We were told the portions were huge. We got there around 1ish and they had many tables filled. We were immediately seated and Patty was our server. Our order consisted of a 9" Deluxe pizza and the Vito's Garden Salad. The portions are HUGE! The salad was fantastic and is large enough to feed 4-6 people. We split the 9" (loaded with toppings) pizza. The toppings and cheese were the perfect proportions for a complete meal! Papa's pizza is hands down my favorite pizza in the world. With that being said I am from Waterloo where the original Papa's is. I live out of town now and make sure I get Papa's at least once every time I come back home. Unfortunately the Waterloo location was closed while the family went on vacation and because of this we ordered from Millstadt. This was the first time I have tried their location and I must say that while it is still very good, it didn't taste the same. I don't know if it's because I am biased or what but that old oven at the Waterloo location just did it better in my mind. We had the deluxe, BBQ chicken, salad, and toasted ravioli and it was all still good and very much worth it. read more

Sooooo many complaints, but who puts "pre" cooked bacon as the first topping on the pizza. I don't want half raw, stringy bacon underneath my pizza. Also don't want half cooked dough, it's dusgusting. "Worlds best pizza" on the to-go box instantly means don't trust the business. Try Papa Johns owner (sadly from "Sicily") because you don't have the first idea of your pie. Don't start me on the t-ravs or "cheese bread". It's all bad. The room was filled with people and they said they Re not taking any more one in guests. I shared that we had called first and came from Waterloo. They didn't seem to care. Went to this location for the first time 2-6-19... and there will be plenty more visit in the future. The restaurant was very clean, the staff was exceptional and the food was GREAT. We ordered the French dip and the Chef salad, both had large portions and were very good quality. This is the second location we have been to and have mentioned both of them to anyone who would listen. So this seemed the next logical step to spread the word of a great dining experience that is very reasonably priced. read more
