Raining day! Always go there on Friday for fish fry. I ordered cod fish sandwich without breads with cole slaw on side. Surprise I got hush puppies and it delicious. Cod fish is perfect crispy fried. I love all the bars in Millstadt, but Reinhardts is where it all started for me. It's a hidden gem with dirt cheap beer and tasty hot wings. First of all, let's talk about the food. Reinhardts is open for Breakfast, lunch, and dinner ( check their Facebook for updated hours.) They have a large menus with plenty of options for everyone. Breakfast: My reccomendations are the scram bowl and the haystack. HUGE portions and super hardy. If you're a big pancake guy this is the place for you! $6.99 all you can eat pancakes. Lunch/dinner: Wings, Wings, Wings. Breaded, naked, trashed, sauced, not sauced. They're all great, but I think I have a new favorite- breaded trashed ( see photo.) Thanks to Tyler, one of the bartenders at Reinhardts for the Rec. On the app side I'm a fan of the Pepper Jack bites and if you're looking for something a little on the lighter side try the club sandwich. Entertainment- on site gaming and ocassional live music ( check their Facebook for this info.) Seating- bar seating, dining room, and outdoor. Catering/parties- call the bar for info about bulk orders for catering and/or inquire about renting out the space for an event/party. $$$- thank you Reinhardts for your reasonable prices! This is a place you can take the family and not pay an arm and a leg. Breakfast for $10?! Hell yeah. LIFE HACK: Wings are BOGO 1/2 off on Tuesday's...and while you're there ask about their weekly happy hour deals. A little birdy told me they do 99 CENT draft beers! ( it's me-I'm the birdy.) Came for lunch Monday. After ten minutes with no menu finally got our own. Waitress looked at me three times and never came to our table. After 15 minutes we left. Manager was eating at the bar and did not try to help the two waitresses out. Oh and putting the menus under your arm pits is pretty gross. Saw this every time they went to the tables.. Food is not the best. Service was quite poor and worst of all you could smell cigarette smoke coming from somewhere. I talked to a few who frequent this place and they said the owner/workers smoke in the back and they smoke in the bar main bar around 10 p.m. This is against health code and if this slides, I'd hate to know what else slides under the radar. read more

Dive-ish but not dirty. Nice people working but management seems to be absent or just unconcerned. I feel bad for the wait staff. They are spending a lot of time apologizing for things that are not on their control. We don't live in Millstadt but was in town at the local hardware store. I asked the cashier where a good hole in the wall dinner/bar/restaurant was in town because we didn't want any "Corporate" owned food. Was told of Reinhardt's & figured let's give it a try. So the wife & I rode over for lunch. We had their lunch special for Monday which was 3 piece fried chicken dinner w/mashed potato's & gravy w/a veggy. For me, Reinhardt's is undoubtedly the worst restaurant in town. I've been to the tavern multiple times over the years as it is close by and easy. With each visit, it gets worse. To start off, the food is bland, grease bar food. Walk in the door during the dinner time rush, and you will see an elderly couple at each table. It is no surprise then, that the food is bland, Reinhardt's caters to their core customers. The "delicious homemade pizza" is in fact disgusting. The sauce tastes like the can of tomato paste that you can buy at the local grocery store. Nothing puts me off from their pizza as much as the cheese. Do you like cheese? Do you really, really, REALLY LOVE CHEESE? Then definitely get their pizza because they put a disgusting mound of cheese that's the size of Mt. Everest on top. There is so much cheese on their pizza that by the time they slice it and deliver it to your table it melts back together, and then when you want to take one slice, you also pull the cheese off the slice next to it. This pizza is masterfully crafted by a creepy fry cook by the name of Brian who has a hair due similar to a rabid wet skunk. This pizza cost them roughly 80 cents to make, it can be yours for the low price of $13. However, the rest of the menu is cheap, the old saying "you get what you pay for" holds true. Second, the service is fast, as it should be, but the employees definitely do the minimal amount of work. Each time I am there the employees have a conversation going on up at the bar and continue having the conversation when across the room. Even in the rare event that the place is packed, the employees at the bar are louder than every customer combined. I am from Millstadt, the town Reinhardt's is in, and there are definitely a handful of scummy regulars at this bar who swear by its excellent quality. Every time I go the bartenders, cooks, waitresses, and the scummy regulars/groupies are having a blasted party up at the bar. Finally, the décor is a magical blend between a dumpster and your grandparent's basement. Also, when I asked my waitress for an additional plate, I was given a cheap Styrofoam plate, which shows how much they strive for quality. Overall, the restaurant is a dump (it smells like one too). Why anyone would eat their twice is beyond me. read more
