Nice place. Walk in and the Togo counter is right there you have to go to the right to get to the dinning area. The restrooms were clean but really small one person restrooms and not great locks. We ordered paninis and fries. The paninis tasted really good. The meats were cut a little thicker than we like but did taste good. The fries tasted stale. The seasoning that was put on them didn't have the greatest flavor. We got fresh cut fries. They had bear battered but we didn't try them. The waitress was very friendly and seemed to know what she was doing. We will give this place another shot. We have been told that they have the best pizza in the area. Maybe next time. read more

Stumbled upon this place en route to my luxe cabin for weekend. Waitress left something to be desired. The restaurant has an old-timey ambiance with exotic animals perusing our food, making rounds across the establishment. The pink ice cream (their special) was ok. Excellent service, attentive staff, great menu suggestions, and they even have gluten free pizza, plus sandwiches can be made into gluten free wraps! The regular pizza was delicious, and the gluten free pizza made my day. The grilled chicken salad was full of grilled vegetables which didn't even need dressing. So good. Thanks to our esteemed host Ash who welcomed us and pointed out all of the best choices for us. We enjoyed all of the paintings of Italian locations while we waited for our meals. Leftovers tonight! Saw it on the map on the way back from visiting Canada. Read the reviews and decided to try it. Came in 30mins from close and the staff were very nice about it. Food was good and service was fast. Got some looks & heard unpleasant comments from other diners when we were sat but thats more a reflection of the town/area and not the business itself so I would say don't be deterred from visiting ! read more

The hard truth is, for $30, you get the worst pizza imaginable. Right, worse than Pizza Hut. The ingredients were kind of a hardened soup sitting forlornly on top of under-cooked dough. The food here is pretty good. We ordered a special pizza, lasagne, pasta with marinara, and garlic knots. The pizza was ok. Crust was fine but the pizza as a whole lacked flavor. The lasagne was by far the best dish we ordered. It was fresh out of the oven and had incredible taste. The marinara sauce just tasted like crushed tomatoes and nothing else. We had it with linguine which was cooked perfectly. The garlic knots were also pretty good. Overall, I would recommend the lasagne here. read more

Went there with family and wanted to order a custom stromboli, was told that they couldn't do it because they dont do special orders. Was just asking for bacon to be substituted by mushrooms in their meat lovers. Waitress was inattentive and most of our food was cold when it got to us. The dining room was FREEZING cold so we all sat with our winter jackets on to order and eat. So I walked into an amazing little restaurant which was recommended by the hotel, the place was nice and the staff was good;however, I ordered a small Stromboli because I do not like ricotta cheese and the waitress ordered me a calzone instead. A calzone had ricotta cheese in it and she did not even offer to discount it. As I didn't ask for a discount you would of thought it would be customary to fix the issue, but instead I payed for food I did not want. First time ever eating here and it was a great experience. The pizza was great, and our waitress was very attentive making sure we were well taken care of. I ordered a pizza without onions (not a huge deal I would eat them if they were on there). The pizza was made with onions, BUT my waitress immediately put another pizza in before the other one was even finished cooking. She showered me with free bread, and a free tiramisu dessert. We were traveling from Baltimore, MD to Rochester, NY and were needing a family friendly place to stop for dinner with a 3 year old and a 4 month old. We had originally pulled off in Mansfield to go to the brewery on Main Street. However, there was a 15 minute wait there and the family didn't want to wait. So we walked across the street to Papa V's Pizzeria. From the outside Papa V's doesn't look like much, but on the inside they have a very nice dining area. It's warm, cozy and clean. The waitress seated us quickly and was so kind as to bring our 3 year old a couple coloring books and some crayons. That made her night. For food, my 3 year old got the macaroni and cheese which was absolutely delicious (the wife and I snuck a few bites from the large portion), my wife got the spaghetti with marinara sauce, and I got the lasagna. We also all shared an order of garlic knots. Hands down, the lasagna was some of the best lasagna that I've had in a long time and the garlic knots were scrumptious. It was the perfect meal to get me through the long car ride. The wife mentioned she really enjoyed the spaghetti as well. At the end of the night we packed up, paid the bill, and headed out to continue our car ride. As we were getting the kids into our car, the waitress came running up the street with a baby formula warming thermos that we had left behind on the table. From the minute we arrived, to ordering and delivering our food, to running down the street to return something we left behind, the customer service from our waitress was exceptional. Great food, convenient location, and exceptional staff. What more could you ask for? We definitely plan on heading back to Papa V's again on a future ride between Baltimore and Rochester. read more

A hidden gem. Crispy well baked crust that actually taste like something with a certain richness to it instead of the usual blandness you typically get from too many pizza doughs. We were passing through and stoped for a quick dinner. Wish I could give this 2.5 but I just couldn't commit on a three. The place is a small town pizza shop that hasn't been remodeled or decorated in years. We order two pizzas and one came out quick the other about 8 minutes after the first. There wasn't much flavor. Maybe with a cold beer it would have hit the spot, but they don't serve alcohol. The women's bathroom is tiny and was trashed. Order is usually ready quickly and fresh. The cheeseburger sub us one of my favorites, but specify if you don't want any pink, or it will be cooked normally. The bill racks up quick and we don't live very local to the resturant, which makes this is a special treat for us, but this is also where we have an several issues. The pizza was amazing for years, and is still quite good. Then we received a pie that was so burned on the bottom that the sliced snapped and crumbled. It was inedible, completely. My name and number was taken but no call was ever returned. We did not return for several years. After moving closer we decided to try again and had pleasant enough experiences. A few times orders would be missing a side or a pizza would be less than great from cooking too long, but it was for a birthday party that swayed me away finally. The pizza ordered was incredibly burned and when called the gentleman on the phone called the orderer a liar and demanded the pizza back, accusing them of wanting free food.
