I'm sure that all the food is delicious, but I only ever order the turkey club and onion rings. What should be a simple sandwich is so inexplicably delicious, it can't truly be described. There's something about being on the road all day and then chowing down on this turkey club that is so satisfying. Not to mention the service is great and restaurant itself is always pretty chill. Deb has served me every single time I've stopped by (since I was a child) and she's wonderful :)

We really enjoyed our past visit and when passing by recently, around lunch time, we stopped in again. Our waitress was excellent -- as usual. This time I opted for the hot turkey sandwich and my wife got their famous turkey BLT. I also got coffee, which they provide in your own pot, which I liked. The turkey BLT is one of their staples, and it was really delicious with a smoky flavor. The hot turkey came with a side salad and mashed potatoes. You do not leave hungry and it's like Thanksgiving dinner all over. I upgraded my previous rating to 5 stars-if you like homestyle cooking, a diner like vibe and great service you'll love this place. All for around $15 per person plus tip.

Vegan but still really yummy!…read more Honestly loved their donuts and biscuit- on par with normal donuts/biscuits! The filling of the boston cream donut taste like a vanilla snack pack pudding which I personally don't mind but still prefer non-vegan boston cream donut filling. Jelly and vanilla sprinkles were both yummy- no complaints! My favorite was the apple cider donut- the perfect crisp exterior and soft cakey moist interior. These were also warm! We also tried the Western which has vegan egg cheese and bacon on their house-made biscuit. Biscuit was delicious! I don't personally love vegan cheese, but rather enjoyed the smokey flavor of the bacon. Overall, I would definitely return, but would pass on the boston cream and get more of the apple cider donuts! I would probably also get another break fast sandwich.

I'm lactose intolerant and 2. 1 of us is vegetarian. This place checks all the boxes and we both can order without having to worry about anything. They also have wheat free options which is another plus. I got the breakfast wrap and it was probably one of the best wraps I've ever had. Definitely stepped out of my comfort zone trying it because I've only had the cheese on it but none of the other ingredients. I also got the strawberry mango smoothie with oat milk and it was the perfect match to my wrap. My friends had already eaten here and were raving about how good the cheese fries were and how I could actually eat them and they really were so good! Over all it was such a great experience and I love the diner vibes. The parking is a little iffy because it's in the same area of Dominos so it's a little limited but there's a parking garage around the corner and street parking is always an option. I have a new favorite place to eat where I can order and enjoy what I'm eating in peace.

We had a special occasion to celebrate, so I reached out to Casa De Empanadas to inquire about their catering menu. I hadn't realized they were closed for Memorial Day, and I figured we'd have to make other plans. To my surprise, they didn't just respond--they went above and beyond. Even though they were closed, they asked what I needed and made arrangements so I could pick up the food on Memorial Day. And the food? Absolutely delicious. The empanadas were perfectly crisp and packed with meat, and the Spanish rice was just the comfort food we were hoping for. It made our celebration feel even more special. Casa De Empanadas isn't just about great food--they showed me it's about people who care. I can't recommend them enough. 5 Stars - A small town gem with heartfelt service! However, it was clean. It has some old booths and the building is sagging, which it is old and I don't hold that against them. It took quite awhile for the server to greet us. He would disappear for long periods of time. Not sure if he was helping in the kitchen or what he was doing. He was very friendly and trying very hard to do the job. I just don't think he is cut out to be a server. My wife ordered the beef and noodles. It had mashed potatoes under the beef and noodles. Not sure who thought two starches in one dish was a good idea, but it didn't bother my wife. She said the dish was really good and she brought half of it home to enjoy for lunch tomorrow. I had the fish sandwich, which was really good. It was very fresh. I also ordered the ham and bean soup. It was fantastic. You could tell it was homemade and very flavorful. So we were very please with the food. Also, the food was very reasonably priced. We had a lot of food for only $33.00. So over all I'm giving it four stars. Not the perfect restaurant. They could improve in some areas, but we were very happy with the food.

This is not going to be an easy review to write. I have so many conflicting thoughts and…read morefeelings... reviewing a restaurant should never be this dramatic! Seriously though... speaking as someone who was a partner in two restaurants in NYC for 4 years, who does not claim to "know it all" but knows some tricks of the trade... I think they've got great potential and would like to share my thoughts with them. Saying they've "got potential" probably come across as smug, obnoxious, and ridiculous, especially because they've got like 4.6 stars here on Yelp! And that's mainly why I found myself here... Staying in Mansfield for the night, I looked up restaurants that were enroute to our hotel. Some of them had 3 or 3.5 stars and I said "no way." But 4.6 stars with as many reviews as The Farmer's Table has? Absolutely! The atmosphere is a little bit diner but cozy enough and has the farm as a theme. There are some cool design elements, like the steel ceiling, the tables... The bathroom was clean and well stocked, and that's a really good sign that the place is sanitary and organized. The waitress was really, really nice... and we loved that we were in this tiny little town and yet she had this really cool, funky image. Great fingernails! I'm jealous! A tip for her to make service even better... think about sequence of service. Think about the extras that the customer will want with the specific thing they ordered so that they won't have to bother you. If they order something with fries, definitely put ketchup on their table, and do it before the food is delivered. There were also a lot of empty tables with salt shakers, but it's had none. Some customers notice these little things and appreciate a server who anticipates their needs. On the other hand, maybe she was just really slammed busy before we got there. My wife and I waited like 2 minutes for her to take my order and she apologized profusely for having us wait so long for her. I was like, "am I in Manhattan or wut???" She was on point, generally easy to find when we needed her, she was never trying to hide from customers (a huge no-no) and very well-intentioned. Definitely a keeper. The food though... I was surprised we didn't like it very much being the reviews were so good. When I got the check to pay, I asked the server what their most beloved and popular dishes are. She said that ppl order a lot of the prime rib sandwich, and also the cat fish. Incidentally, I had ordered the prime rib sandwich, and my wife had the breaded cat fish. I was expecting a lot more meat on my sandwich, and the bun was just a regular burger bun, but it was ok. It came with 3 slices of pickle and cost $11.90. I was still hungry after that so I finished my wife's catfish 'cuz she gets full easily. I liked the catfish more, but neither of us thought it was anything special. What was special were the prices. The catfish included 2 sides, and it cost less than $14. Being from NYC, it was so refreshing to see pricing that reminded me of year 2000! A burger for $7.85 that's not Burger King? Incredible! But the cole slaw... ewww. I didn't hate it, but I kind of forced myself to eat it even though it had a strange flavor. The sweet potato fries were ok. Everything was basically O.K. I imagine that, if I lived there, I would go pretty regularly cuz it's probably the best thing the neighborhood has in a few square miles, and it's easier and more fun than cooking at home (if you're not a cook and you're busy at work). But I think that some improvement in the food could make the place more of a destination. And a destination could actually bring more business to the surrounding businesses! I can understand if the townspeople want very basic food there, but at least offer a few specials that are fancier, better ingredients, something that stands out and is memorable. I know I'm spoiled coming from NYC... a 4.6 star review in places like Manhattan are different than a 4.6 star review in a small town. But this place has some nice things about it. Take it all the way!
