My husband follows the carnivore diet and ordered the exact same thing as the day before, an all meat omelet, and the response he received was "where do you see that in the menu?" He explained that he got the same thing the day before with no issues and she was obviously disgruntled at the situation. She then proceeded to go into the kitchen and speak with the cook, the same one as the day before, and we could overhear her angst. She came back around and we asked if it was going to be an issue and she scoffed and replied no in a condescending tone. We took one look at each other and got up and walked out. Mind you I have never walked out of a restaurant in my life. I have never felt so unwelcomed in an establishment. This really took us by surprise because just the day before the other waitress bent over backwards to accommodate us and was very inviting and friendly. It's not like it is a super hard request, an omelette with no veggies, but on Sunday it felt like we had asked for a very difficult meal. If I were to rate Saturdays experience it would be 5/5, Sundays experience would be negative stars.
