The cashier with red hair, middle aged lady had the absolute worst customer service I've ever encountered. Threw our eggs so hard into a bag a few of them broke. And treated the few people in line infront of us way better. Not sure what the deal was so I even asked were we not supposed to come into your line and she said no that's why the sign was up but she let two people come into her line with the same sign up and even helped another lady after us and was nice to her. Strongly suggest not letting her deal with the public or making sure she knows she needs to treat everyone equally. read more

This particular Super 1 is the nicest one I've been in so far. Fter spending a day in Glacier, we decided to spend the night in Kalispell before heading home the next day. We stopped here to grab some drinks and snacks to take back to our hotel room. My first thought as we walked in was how neat and organized the store was. Being someone who is somewhat of a neat freak, I can appreciate that. Our first stop was the produce section and let me tell you, everything looked so fresh and good. They also had some pretty good sales going on, but even items that weren't on sale were reasonably priced. Every aisle we walked down was wide with plenty of room to maneuver your cart. I couldn't help but notice how fully stocked the shelves were, given it was at the end of the day. The cashier and bagger were both very friendly and fast. All in all, I would definitely recommend this Super 1. It's much nicer than the one that is closer to my home and provides a much better shopping atmosphere. read more

I called the bakery on 7/12 at 3:15pm to order 18 pink buttercream cupcakes Barbie or mermaid themed to be picked up on 7/20 at 11am for my daughters 5th birthday I have gave my name and number and she confirmed the order. Fast Forward to July 20th pick up day I arrive at super 1 at 12:30pm on the 20th to collect the cupcakes as I walk up to the bakery a woman greets me and ask me my name for a pick up order. I give her my name and she scans the orders posted and says she has no order for me and then proceeds to tell me my order had went out the day prior. She then asks be if I can stand by for 10 minutes while she whips up a batch for me all while I'm in a time crunch to get back to my home for this party. She frosts the cupcakes obviously no where near what I asked for on the order I placed, hands me the 18 cupcakes sloppily frosted slaps a price tag on them and wants me to pay for half ass frosted cupcakes. Ridiculous. The manager did help me out but discounting them but sheesh Beware of ordering from Super 1 they just might give your order away! read more

Any of the super 1 foods are usually my go to stores when the bulk warehouse doesn't have what I need or I don't want to buy a particular item in bulk. The stores are always clean, organized and compared to the other markets in the area I've found them to have the better prices. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great bakery and deli departments. Their produce is always fresh and you can find almost any odd item that a recipe might call for. They have organic produce, bulk spices and a lot of ethnic foods to choose from. Great job love these stores. Shopping their sales also saves you a bundle. read more

I am extremely disappointed with this company. Not only are you not compensated well for the amount of work management expects from you. You will also be treated poorly by fellow employees and managers. Most of the time store directors are no where to be found, isles remain cluttered and unkept. I watched an elderly woman trip and fall over a pallet right in the middle of the floor while the store directors were no where to be found. The policies they try to enforce are ridiculous and follow Mormon views. You can go to any other grocery store and these policies are not in place you will also be getting paid more and treated kindly. I normally don't write things like this but this job was very stressful I wouldn't recommend working or shopping here. read more

After driving past many Super 1 Foods, we decided to check one out. I'm so glad we did. We were very impressed by the selection of Asian ingredients. In fact thy found all ingredients necessary to put together a plate of Goi Cuon (Vietnamese Spring Rolls). Hitting cherry season was a bonus too. LOVE the employee's that wave and say "hello" AND the checkers ALL look you in the eye and say "hello" that is very refreshing and better than the other grocery on the other end of town. First off the woman with the short hair name starts with an L.She is a miserable human being and no one wants her at the customer service desk.Please put her somewhere where she isn't spreading her miserable attitude to your valuable customers.That said,most of the older people that work there are rude and short with everyone.I personally avoid these employees because no one needs to have their shopping experience ruined with their unpleasantness.The store manager should really re evaluate if they should really keep these awful employees working there,tell them to clean up their attitude and/or move on.If it were younger employees treating customers badly,they would have already been let go.Why are the awful&miserable older employees getting special treatment?The past couple years many people have noticed that the first two weeks of the month(actually the meat at this store expensive most of the time anymore)your basic meats are way too expensive to buy and then you have it at a normal affordable price at/by the end of the month.This hurts a lot of people who need to eat through out the month.People avoid stores with meat that is too expensive to buy and go to stores that offer it for a reasonable prices.Also,I am truly appalled that you will not let people use the bathroom after eight or nine.Absolutely inexcusable unprofessional behavior.Zero valid excuses.If you have problems with people using the bathroom,YOU make the necessary changes to keep the bathroom open for customers that spend their hard earned money to keep the front doors of your business open.I will shop after eight at stores that don't lock their customers out of the bathroom.I am truly disgusted with this store's behavior concerning all of these issues in this store. read more

Since this sits right across the street from the Red Lion, I thought yippee not long walks to the store. However, it is really expensive compared to Smith's which is just around the corner from it. Before we went to Smith's we had gone in here to scout it out and grabbed a couple of bottles of water for the room and as we were walking to the register a lady with a million and one things gets there first. They only had one checker going for the whole grocery, at about 6 in the evening. We just put the water back and left. They are open 24 hours a day, so if you really need something at 2 am, then this is probably it for Kalispell. After finding Smith's, I wouldn't go back in, just based on prices alone. read more

I really like Super One's produce. Its always fresh, they have a great organic section and a variety of herbs to choose from. Just fabulous. They also have a decent, but great for Montana, Asian food selection including a variety of fresh, refridgerated, chinese noodles. They frequently have sales on certain items I like too. Deli is is decent. Really great wine selection that gives you 10% off when you buy 6 or more. Their staff is really friendly!! Hasn't been a grumpy one yet and they are all eager to help! Pricewise they are usually more expensive than Walmart. I come here for fresh produce, a quick need or difficult to find items, and wine. read more

Great store that I shop at regularly. My normal go to is always Super 1 because they are open 24/7 so I don't have to worry about hours. Their gluten free / health section area is awesome & always has different features for sales. It is easy to find almost like how Rosauers has the "huckleberry" department. It isn't ever super crowded when I go and they seem to have a significant amount of employees that keep the place stocked and are good about having cashiers always available so it is the one grocery store I don't wait a long time in a line when I check out. read more

We have a Super 1 being built in Great Falls, MT and there's a good deal of hype about them so while I was in Kalispell on business I stopped in. Being only here for a few nights in a hotel, I didn't need much but I just wanted to see what was on offer and general prices. I found the store to be clean and smartly laid out. I have gripes with our local Smith's and their placement of items. It's kind of an odd gripe, I know but I had no issues here! I found Super 1's prices to be decent for the items I typically buy. Definitely better than Albertsons in Great Falls. I hope the Super 1 that opens there has similar, or better, prices. read more

I've been mostly doing grocery pick-up during Covid at other stores/locations and they do an OK job but they have usually been out of multiple items and substituted items I didn't want. But I have done pick-up here 2ce and the 1st time they had 100% of the items I ordered and the last time they were only out of one item but the substitution he chose was fine. So, your asking me why am I giving a grocery store 5 stars. Breakfast, thats why. I would say if you want a great breakfast that is super affordable, less than $3 gets you a huge platter of biscuits and gravy, more than the average person can eat. The food for breakfast at the hot deli counter is restaurant quality and super fast. It is always super busy with regulars and visitors alike. We go to K-town quite often and that is where I go to get breakfast every morning I am there. I seem to always run into people that I know as well. It seems that everyone likes to grab great food for cheap. They have everything, bacon, sausage, breakfast sandwiches, tornado breakfast things that my son absolutely loves and more to create your own breakfast. I pre-ordered 2 kegs for a party, each of which were roughly $60 for 6 gallons. I came back on the day they were to arrive (I received no phone call verifying they were there, so I had to assume they were ordered), and only one of them had been ordered! I was told that the other was a seasonal, and they couldn't get it in. The store had my phone number; they could have called me to ask for a replacement beer but instead I came to find this out 3 hours before my party was to start. When I asked for something as a replacement, their only options were Coors Light and a much more expensive full-sized keg (both of which were leftovers that people had failed to pick up, which I assume the store was going to eat in terms of cost). They let me purchase (at sticker price) the full-sized, more expensive keg, and with that much notice I didn't have any other choice. I'm disappointed they didn't offer the keg to me at the price my original keg should have cost, given it was their screw-up that left me one keg short. read more

It's just a typical conventional grocery store. My family and I shop organic, so this place does NOT have good prices on organics (we go to Natural Grocers for the best prices). Super 1, like Smith's etc., does have lots of foods from the General Mills of the world so most of their food is either GMO or non-organic. Blech. Who wants to eat that garbage? read more

I really appreciate the extra help the bag boy gave. I have a 6 month old baby that I wear in a baby carrier. This helps me have enough room in my cart for product. However, wearing the baby makes it difficult to get food items out of the cart. I have embarrassed myself greatly trying to unload the cart quickly. The bag boy saw me struggling and quickly hopped down to where I was unloading and vigorously helped!! I am so grateful!! My husband and I LOVE shopping at this Super 1. They always have the best prices around and the store is always very clean and nice. The employees are always really friendly and helpful. The empolyees are always smiling and say hello and don't just ignore you like most places. They have the best donuts we have ever had anywhere (and we have tried donuts a lot of places)! We have tried almost all the different donuts they make and they are all very good but the custard filled are definitely our favorite!! They and big and they fill them REALLY full!!!! Their deli chicken is amazing and they have a cute little area to sit down in while eating with a nice little fire place. They also have really good soft serve ice cream cones for only $0.25. They are good size for $0.25 but even if my husband and i get two each it's only a $1 for 4 cones. Super cheap date with husband. They have a really nice produce section and it is always fresh. Nice selection of natural, organic, and gluten free products as well. They always have really good sales every week and have good 12 hour sales the first Thursday of every month.
