I also found these tiny boxes that you turn and they play a classical song so that came with me too. I wanted to buy all the cards! I saw a woman walking around and let her know that her space was beautiful curated. She was very kind and I later learned she is the owner. She rung up my order and after asking if she had any wrapping for my book she found some leftover and wrapped up my gift. Gwen was very kind and has taken a lot of consideration on the items she displays at her store. They are beautiful and unique items in this store. I believe the price I paid was worth the unique value. There are signs posted to not take photos of the items inside the store so I couldn't get any while I was there but trust me the space is beautiful and the items one of a kind. I had work during the week and completely forgot to follow-up with them for a time to bring in the item to get embossed. I called on a Thursday, close to their closing time and asked to drop off the following day and pick up on Saturday. Unfortunately, I was told that they close on the weekends. However, the owner mentioned he could do it the next day, if I brought in the item. He conversed with me over text to show me the different typefaces they offer and made sure that the embossing set up was ready for when I came in. I've been following Carole Lola on Instagram for about two years now, ever since seeing her work on…read morea photographer's portfolio. I'm no lettering expert, but I know beautiful lettering when I see it, so every post and story was an absolute pleasure to behold. And when I had the chance to hire Carole for my wedding, I jumped on it! From the get-go, Carole was ultra-responsive via email. She patiently answered questions about how she'd set up and what options she offered for lettering, and helped us arrive at an experience that would be appropriate for our event type and guest count. I initially thought about a workshop, for example, but Carole helped me understand that that might not be appropriate for a wedding :) We ended up deciding on Carole lettering luggage tags live as a take-home gift for guests. I was able to order luggage tags through Carole, who brought the tags with her when the wedding day came. She even lettered a few in advance for guests who couldn't make it (and of course, for ourselves). Carole and her live lettering proved to be a huge hit. In fact, I'm pretty sure our guests came more for Carole than they did for us-- on the day of the wedding, I heard from the planner that Carole got swarmed as soon as she set up. And after the wedding, I saw plenty of Carole's tags in Facebook photos and Instagram stories. I loved seeing them, and everyone else loved having them. I recommend Carole to anyone looking for a unique experience for their event. The gift shop closes at 5 pm on weekdays and the open space parking lots are free for parking at 4 pm in Stanford . Good service . I was greeted and offered help a few times . They also packed my items in a nice gift bag . Priced are reasonable and you can find a lot of cute things here . They have another Stanford gift shop in the Town & Country near by . That place has more clothing than this gift shop but their merchandises are different .
