Nothing I found in the store was made in any country other than CHINA. If you do not care, fine. Knock yourself out. If the quality were there, I'd not be writing. It was cheep below Walmart grade. I bought single sheet gift wrap. They sell a similar type at Papyrus or Meininger's. It's expensive and luxurious with deep pigments and unique patterns. More like the old fashioned rag paper from the 1800's. The Paper Source sells a low quality knock off version that cracks and sheds. The color isn't consistent. It also smells odd. The cards I bought gave off a STENCH. I've had this same issue with other holiday Chinese imports. read more

Paper Source is a constant source of inspiration for me. A few years ago, I went out on a whim and signed up for a card workshop. It has changed me into a crafty, spinster woman. Kind of. I adore their workshops, their products are second to none, and I can constantly count on new ideas when ever I pop into the store. I also love their staff members. They are some of the most friendly women I have ever met, and whenever I have a question about a technique or new idea from one of their sample inspiration items, they will drop everything and show me exactly how to do it at one of their workshop stations. Cheryl (spelling?) is the best. She knows what she's talking about and she wants everyone to enjoy crafting the way she does! Some people think Paper Source is too expensive, but I actually find it very comparable to bigger "box stores" like Hobby Lobby. While those places may have more stamp/sticker/etc. selections, the level of service and knowledge from the staff makes this place the real deal. I've also enrolled in workshops at other store locations, and this one is a winner. Parking is a pain at this site--that's the only downside. When I can, I stick to my bike. read more

What a great little store! I purchased a couple cards on a recent trip to Ireland that came with black envelopes... so, I needed a pen that would clearly appear on the black, and didn't want to be stuck with the small selection at Wallgreens. The Yelp app offered several options nearby, and I chose Paper Source based on all the other reviews. Well, you ladies and gents couldn't have been more correct! The staff here were very friendly and helpful, but not at all pushy. I wasn't hurried while I tested every silver, gold, and white pen they had (and they had four or five of each color - different brands, points etc) until I found the perfect one. I also took a few minutes to browse through their awesome selection of wrapping paper, much of which is sold by the sheet. It's not the cheapest you'll find anywhere (hey, it's Cherry Creek) but it's reasonable and everything seemed to be of very high quality. This is also a great place to go to purchase a fun gift for your creative friends, or - funny - even pet lovers. They've got a table stocked with humorous books on cats (and perhaps dogs too). I think one book was called, "I Could Pee on This," and had an angry little cat on the cover. Awesome. read more

Oh, Paper Source, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways! 1.) You fuel my obsessive need to have at least 4 sheets of unique wrapping paper on hand at ALL times. 2.) Your staff is some of the nicest people around and they do not judge me and/or my love for paper. 3.) You made my wedding invitations! They are perfect and I love that you allowed me to customize every aspect of them. 4.) Your card selection is top notch and ranges from beautiful to witty...plus anybody that can drop the F-bomb on a beautiful card has my vote for coolest kid in class. Glad to find that there was a Paper Source in Denver as I had been procrastinating on stopping by in California... but was disappointed that there wasn't a "sale" or overstock section, as I've seen in other bigger stores (a la South Coast Plaza). Easy to find parking in the area, and lots of other cool shops to browse around if you're spending the day window shopping (or real shopping) Customer service seemed friendly... to other people. I walked in, browsed, and left without so much as a hello. Strange, considering most other PS locations are so good at this! Good selection overall of gifts and cards and wrap and paper, but still bummed about the no sale/overstock. read more

I always love perusing stores like these, but I didn't find much this time around. The ladies working here were super nice, and I found a cool pen with white ink, but other than that nothing really caught my eye. My dad was hoping to find some blank cards that we could use for any occasion but most of the cards were already pre-written for certain holidays/celebrations. I wish there were more stickers to choose from! There was a bit of a selection near the washi tape but nothing too out of the ordinary. This store has a lot of cute little items that would be great for gifts though; a lot of the items are pretty unique. read more

The only other Paper Source I had been to was in Minneapolis, MN and that one was ok, just so-so. The Cherry Creek store, however, has blown me away! There is SO MUCH cool paper options, craft supplies, stationary, and more! The selection of gift wrap is outstanding, and the staff are all extremely helpful and very friendly. read more

I just bought my wedding invitations here and I have to say what fantastic costumer service! They were so helpful and as excited as I was. I didn't know they usually work with appointments and I was a walk in, but luckily it wasn't super busy and they were able to accommodate me. The invitations are exactly what I wanted. A wide variety of cards for every occasion including a few you may invent just to buy a cute card. A bright, cheerful layout and friendly customer service. Bright, bold graphic wrapping paper that can be bought one sheet at a time and that spans nearly an entire wall. Fun, quirky gifts and accessories for just about anyone. A fun selection of calendars, journal and day planners. Crafting classes for kids and adults. A parking lot(!) behind the store. Yesss! I don't splurge on paper goods often, but when I do, it's at Paper Source. My suggestion would be to go in with a plan of what you need, or you're likely to come out with more than you'd intended! You also won't get out on the cheap, which was the differential between 4-5 stars for me (Items may be a touch overpriced, even given high quality). read more

I moved to Denver 8 months ago, and I've been planning to do reviews around my new city, but this store actually inspired me to finally start! Wow, what a cute store! The employees are so helpful and the product selection is amazing. I always find something to go home with and love their card selection! Now for the bad... What made me finally decide to write this review is that every time I've come in to shop since I moved here, it seems like they are having some kind of technical problems... register down, credit card needing to be reset, internet out. It's really sad. The employees are so nice and try to keep it together with smiles but you can tell they are stressed because the customers are irritated... especially right now with it being the holiday season! Paper Source is a nation-wide chain, so you'd think they would make it a priority to make their stores run smoothly. I LOVE it here. It's seriously my happy place. Anytime I would venture back to Chicago I would always make sure to stock up on supplies. Imagine my surprise when I wandered by before it opened. I could not have been happier. Came in today after lunch just to look around. The staff was super friendly and nice which is always a good sign. We wandered around for a while and walked out with a card and a few pens but I know that I'll be back (probably more than my wallet wants me to.) Yay Paper Source!! read more

I love Paper Source. I have been purchasing items online for about 3 years now. I love their wrapping paper and glitter boxes and their variety of cards. I could really spend hours in this store. I think the staff at this location have turned me off to Paper Source, which is a shame. While they aren't entirely rude, they are off-putting to say the least. I had an unpleasant experience a handful of times while stopping by this Paper Source location. I don't know if there are others in town but I would rather drive to one a little further than have to step foot in this location again. read more

I may be biased because I loved Paper Source before it even came to Denver but this place is the BOMB! And the Denver store exceeds all of my expectations - it's my new Happy Place. If you need unique greeting cards, cute & trendy gifts or most things paper crafting - this is your store. I went in looking for a bday gift for a friend and quickly got distracted looking at interesting paper things for me. The staff is super friendly and helpful - they will demo anything you're curious about, show you tips and tricks and help you brainstorm ideas for your project. I worked with Aly and Lauren - they were AWESOME. Instead of buying a 'ready made' gift, Lauren helped me pick out flat cards, envelopes, a stamp, ink, envelope labels and a pen - I made stationary for my friend instead! Even if you think you aren't creative, you will find creativity and inspiration in Paper Source. read more

Conveniently [and dangerously] located across my work, I frequent this boutique quite regularly. It's a fun shop to pop into if you're walking the shops of Cherry Creek North, are waiting on a table at a nearby restaurant or are in the market for greeting cards, stationary, gift wrapping or fun gifts. Their card selection is primo. With a wall spanning the length of the store filled with high quality, timely and relevant cards that are changed out frequently, you are sure to find a card that is just right for the individual on the receiving end. Same goes for gifts. They have set up displays throughout that are well organized and very fun to browse through. You just might find something for a special someone... or, dare I say, yourself! You're special too ya know! Don't overlook their beautiful handmade paper or unique gift bags, either. You'd hate to present an amazing gift in a mediocre fashion. While I have never had an occasion fit for Paper Source stationary, they have a long table dedicated to personalizing invitations for your upcoming event. I heart Paper Source and I heart the staff at Paper Source! Aly rocks! I went here for table name cards for my sister's wedding and Aly helped me patiently pick out the best option given the limited timeframe my dear, sweet sister gave me to complete them. Aly also asked my level of experience (zero) with stamping and was honest with me that she felt my first choice was overly ambitious- she was right! I really appreciate her being honest with me and also appreciate she had enough faith that I could master the choice we finally arrived at. Gold powder, awesome stamps, invisible ink and an embossing gun- heck yes! I had so much fun making these cool cards that when the bride called to say we also needed to put the food choice on the back of the card I hopped in my car, headed back to Paper Source and grabbed a veggie, cow and chicken stamp and fired up the embossing gun! The colors of the wrapping paper here are magical and I could spend hours poking around the cards, ribbons, stamps, stickers and gift items here. This is one of those stores that makes you want to buy presents just so you can get their super cute paper to wrap them. To suggest that this is just a store for gift packaging would significantly under represent what they have going on here. They have an amazing selection of cards, gift and seasonal items, cute organizational office supplies and a kids section...just to name what I can remember. The staff is happy and helpful. They did a great job of wrapping Christmas presents for me and only charge $4.00 plus the cost of materials. Not too bad for ridiculously cute packaging. read more

I happened by the "Paper Source" in search of somewhere that was still open so that I could warm up because after nearly two hours of searching, I COULD NOT FIND MY CAR. Freezing by 5:30 pm, I found out I had 30 minutes before having to go back out in the cold. I explained my situation and they said "no problem, stay as long as you need to." Looking around, I was mesmerized and immediately went into serious shopping mode. Aware of their closing time, I kept politely asking about it and was told three times that it didn't matter because I was inside shopping before 6pm and to take my time. Well, after observing me look at too many price tags to their taste, their demeanor overtly transformed and it was clear I was no longer welcome. I have this fantasy where I return to this place of business, to recite the perfect combination of vocabulary, prosody, and appropriately restrained demonstration of drama to advocate for myself and the express my disdain for how the two employees working yesterday evening chose to offer their services to me, January 2nd, 2015. Dedicating the time to concentrate on the composition of this review is about all I predict I will accomplish regarding the unjust treatment I received at the "Paper Source". I would love to attract a popular local publication or raise some sense of awareness about how I was treated at the "Paper Source". However, that would require a level of sustained, divided and alternating attention that I am not able to do at this time. I frankly and vulnerably disclosed that I was an individual with attention deficit disorder and explicitly requested the time to put my receipts and credit cards where they belonged while the employees simultaneously repeated several times that the store was closed and undeniably implicating the need for me to leave the establishment with urgency. This discourse took place during the processing of my debit card payment and while returning my personal items to their place because for this strategy to work, consistency must be maintained. While re-placing my receipt and credit card, I proceeded the learned habit of locating my phone and car keys (another extremely effective memory technique for those who suffer with impairments in attention and memory. Love! Love! Love! I am getting married on a budget and wanted to make my own invitations. These people were sooo incredibly helpful. They were just as excited as I was to pick out colors, paper, stamps...etc. They gave me a tutorial on the heat embosing stamp! Definitely recommend it! Super easy to you use just like they said it would be. Also, there is a specialty print shop just around the corner that Paper Source endorses, and sure enough A+ for them too. I haven't been to the Denver location, but there is one in Centennial at the Southglenn mall. I LOVE IT!! You could get lost in this shop forever. My thing is bookbinding and the papers that they have for various projects are just beautiful!! And everything else from the cards to craft ideas are great! The gals that helped me out were awesome! The store itself is really unique and does have a variety of goodies, paper and envelopes. I was there only to shop for wedding invite envelopes and labels. Of course they didn't have the shade of green I was looking for, and I wasn't thrilled with my label options, but the sales gal saved the day with the winning suggestion. She was so patient with me and assisted me even well after they closed. She never seemed irritated when I turned down a suggestion, and even though I was clearly frustrated, she stuck with me and I love what I ended up purchasing! They are very busy though and we got interrupted several times as she balanced helping me and other customers. I would recommend planning on spending at least an hour there if you are looking for important items, i.e. wedding invitations/envelops. read more

I couldn't be happier with my experiences at Paper Source! I stopped in a few weeks ago totally overwhelmed by wedding invitations. With 300 guests, DIY seemed like the only option to keep me in my tiny stationary budget. From the minute I walked in the door, I felt very welcomed. The associate worked with me for about an hour to figure out what I wanted and how to keep it in my budget. She even gave me a refresher on how to wet emboss. :) When I got home and started printing, I found some of the paper became damaged while printing. I wasn't sure if it was user error or the paper, but I had to return to the store anyway, so I brought those invitations back with me to ask what I should do. The manager happily exchanged the slightly damaged invites for new paper and gave me some tips for better printing. I will be returning for all of my paper-crafting needs! *As a side note, the store entrance is NOT on Fillmore; it is on 2nd, next to Men's Warehouse. read more
