The aisles are already narrow, which makes it difficult enough to navigate around other shoppers--but it's made worse by the constant presence of stocking and cleaning crews in the middle of the busiest times. Trying to maneuver around carts, boxes, and staff slows everything down and turns a quick trip into a much longer and more stressful experience. I completely understand that restocking and cleaning are essential, but it would make a huge difference if more of this work could be scheduled during slower hours--like early mornings or later at night--rather than right after work when many customers are trying to shop efficiently on their way home. A small adjustment like that would greatly improve the overall shopping experience. Thank you!

As is the norm in this area, sale items, fruits and vegetables are stacked outside the store and worth a look! The clientele is overwhelmingly Chassidic which is a cultural experience in itself unless you happen to be from a Satmar or from another Orthodox sect. Recently when I could not find chopped herring salad anywhere else, I found it for a reasonable price here! I find their prices to be somewhat higher on several items when compared to the nearby competition (for instance Nana Tea was $1.00 a box cheaper down the street at Appetizing Plus), but that said, I have found the cashiers helpful and friendly as long as you make an effort to proactively be nice to them. So not the cleanest, most modern place to shop but a good variety of kosher items to choose from!

The white guy, who is the owner, HE makes the better of the two sandwiches, always. You don't have to keep telling him what to put on your sandwich either; once is enough. The Mexican guy, he usually forgets a topping or two, and leaves something to be desired. If you can, ask for who is making your sandwich. They are my emergency deli, and sadly, if they can honestly make a sandwich the way I WANT it, then I would change the review.
