I opted for the bright little beauties because they looked so cheerful and were also super affordable. Once I placed my order online, someone called me from the shop to confirm my delivery and they were SO FRIENDLY. My friend got these flowers as a surprise on a day where she really needed it and Flowers Beautiful made the whole process super easy even from so far away. She wasn't really interested when I told her that no refund could be found and I just gave up. In this day and age, you have to be accountable and this store was anything but. During Covid times, the store is mostly blocked off except the front, which has plenty of plants, flowers, and little trinkets. Unsurprisingly, during Mother's Day weekend a majority of their flower options were already sold out, but luckily, I was able to find a beautiful peony and lily bouquet. The owner and her daughter were both working the shop when I came in and they were so helpful and efficient all while respecting social distancing. So I swore off SOF and went over to Thriftys. Now I'd always thought Thriftys was much more expensive, but it's really not that much depending what you buy. And the quality... well, there's no comparison. You do get what you pay for. This Thriftys has very friendly staff who all recognize me and always say hi. I buy a lot of fresh veg and bananas, and the produce is excellent albeit a little higher priced. But I'll pay a little more for consistency which saves me time going to another store. I've also always had very positive interaction asking if they have more/bigger in the back. Well stocked shelves, very clean store, lovely bakery, nice variety (especially considering it's a smaller store), nice atmosphere, and great floral department. Some good snack and lunch ideas in the deli department. The store may be small but they almost always have what I want and more. One stop shopping 99.9% of the time. Their customer service is excellent. I also want to mention one specific experience. I'm a local shop keep and my two door freezer went down one day. I went over to Thriftys and asked if there was any chance I might be able to store some inventory in their freezer for a day or two til mine got fixed. One of the owners said they didn't really have the space (like I said, it's small store), but then he looked at me and said, "You know what? We'll make the space for you." I was so grateful. Turns out I didn't need to take him up on it after all, but his willingness to help me out really carried a long way. Life long customer right here! Check em out!
