After going back and asking D&D to make it right, and even being willing to settle for just getting the $600 back I paid and not the $3000 it will take to fix the car, he told us to try and sue him cause he would obviously win and said that the issues were already there before I took it in(which doesn't even make sense considering I asked him to FIX my breaks). I called D and D and they came, towed my car to their shop, and figured out what was wrong and got me back on the road so I could make it home that same night. Otherwise I was thinking about renting a car and driving home and then back to pick up my car later (which is what I would've had to do with 2 other shops I talked to that day and would've been 3 hours each way). Also they are so warm and friendly and helpful. They even checked my fluids as they didn't want anything else to mess up my trip home and found that I was super low in oil so they replenished that as well for me. I really felt like they cared about me and really wanted to help me get home on my trip. Highly recommend them.

We were also told the vehicle had been driven an excessive number of miles since the last visit, which is simply not true. When we questioned this, our concerns were dismissed rather than explained. In the end, the original problem was never fixed, yet we were still expected to pay. We felt misled and rushed off without a resolution. This was a frustrating experience, and we will not be returning. I would not recommend this shop if you're looking for honest communication and proper repairs.

We called 2 months out to confirm they were still operating during Covid. They said they were fully operational. When we arrived, after driving 6 hrs, they had lost our reservation and said they did not have boats for us. They finally gave us one run down speed boat - only 2 years old and trashed inside and most gauges did not work- and one pontoon which we had to swap out for a different pontoon -also had multiple gauges not working- as we went to leave since they decided they wanted to work on that one. They gave us a discounted rate ONLY because we negotiated. They had no intent to make up for their loss of our reservation and giving us 2 poor boats. Two days into our trip, the speed boat broke down and was no longer useable. After they hauled the speed boat away, we went to the marina to pick up a Tritoon - the telescoping tow tower would not extend to the tow position. Had we not come to pick it up ourselves, we would have missed a complete other day boating. When we arrived to pick up the Tritoon, they still needed to clean it out, inspect it, and gas it up. When we returned the boats at the end of our trip, we attempted to renegotiate the price since the price we had agreed upon was for 1 speed boat for 4 days and 1 pontoon for 4 days, but we only had the speed boat for 2 days since it broke down. The manager, Tobi, finally said by her power she could give us $100 off and would talk to the owners the following week to see about a refund on top of the $100. We called Tobi back the following week as she instructed; she preceding to not remember our case and that the owners denied even giving us the $100 refund.
