Due to a miscommunication between us, I had no representation at an important hearing out of state, which has proven a significant setback... I found (with the help of her staff) a suitable replacement, and during the course of the phone consultation in which we were getting him up to speed on the case she made seemingly off-handed pronouncements (insisting that I was "naive" to want to minimize conflict with a family member). I don't believe there was anything actionable in her conduct, and of course any miscommunication involves both sides, but I find it telling that a) at our first meeting she was happy to have me record the conversation, but after the hearing fiasco she refused to be recorded, and b) I have not had a moment's difficulty with her replacement, who has been clear, efficient, effective, and respectful of my wishes. If you do engage her, I recommend ensuring that all significant communications are in writing, and that you keep copious notes and a complete paper trail in case of misunderstandings.

He completely ignored all the information we provided him and his arrogant behavior was offensive; no response to status inquiries, did not follow direction, and functioned within his own little bubble world as if what he did had no consequences on his clients' lives.
