I have been coming to Victoria at Paradise Grooming for Men for several years now. I won't go to anyone else if I can help it. Victoria is genuinely a wonderful person. She always has a smile on her face and she has a heart of gold! But them haircuts tho.. I've never had anyone else pay so much attention to detail. Every single strand of hair matters to her. I ALWAYS walk out of her establishment feeling like a million bucks. The quality is really unparalleled. She takes her time. I love this about her. I saw someone write about how it took forever for someone without an appointment. Dude - just get an appointment next time. I for one don't want someone rushing through a haircut to squeeze someone in who didn't have an appointment. It's obviously a small business.. If you can't wait for quality then go get your hair cut at great clips. That ought to save you your precious time :) Anyways.. I thought I would write her a great review. Great atmosphere and a good haircut. I recently moved to the beaches and had to find a new place to get my hair cut. After a bad haircut at a local national chain, I googled for reviews of local places. Paradise Grooming for Men had good reviews, so I gave it a try. I called and they had an appointment for me immediately. I was greeted by Christin with a beer when I walked in. Good start! Christin listened to how I wanted my hair cut and gave me a great cut. She is a perfectionist. She would let me leave until she was happy with the cut. If you need your hair cut perfectly, ask for Christin. Also, definitely get the steam towel and scalp treatment. Viktoria and her staff have always been so welcoming and professional that I go out of my way to go there. I literally live an hour away but I always make sure to schedule my monthly cut when I know I'll be out their way. Those that continue to get those bargain cuts that look terrible and only keep for two weeks don't know what they're missing. I've never had a bad cut and I get a month or more in between cuts for only a couple dollars more...more than made up for by the beer or two I have while they do their magic. We first met Alena when #PGFM was in OP. My son (who was a teenager @ the time)has special needs (Autism) and we had been trying to find a place where he felt comfortable getting a haircut. Alena could not have been more patient, kind or understanding when she worked w/Kyle. It's easy to see how much all of the staff at #PGFM,(Alena, Viktoria, Angelica and everyone else), are invested in customer service and comfort. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Viktoria is amazing! I went to the same stylist for 15 years and I was apprehensive on the thought of trying a new stylist / barber. Was I glad I did! She has recommended that I try new styles and just ask that I trust in her and I'm glad I did! From a woman's point of view as to what looks "handsome", I left it up to her and received so many compliments and other gents asking, "if I know a good barber?" ... The location on 3rd Street is ideal, and I always love the atmosphere in the shop. I'll be back in a few weeks.
