To make an already frustrating situation creepy, an employee who looked barely sixteen wouldn't stop hitting on me while I was trying to get a refund, making the whole interaction incredibly uncomfortable. On top of the terrible service, the store itself is a literal hazard; there are massive holes in the flooring that aren't even cordoned off. Between the ruined cake, the harassment, and the unsafe environment, this was hands-down the worst retail experience I've ever had.

well i must say i was in line one morning around 11 o'clock and a young lady was in-front of me and…read moreshe was to began work on Sunday as a new hire , when the manager walked up to her and began yelling at her out of the blue and i thought at that moment i can see why they can't keep people here in the store its always someone new at the check out , she said sir you asked me to come in on Sunday so i dont understand why your yelling at me , as i watched the way he treated her ,i was shocked and could not believe what i was seeing or watching ,she was so upset she paid and stopped talking ,that poor young lady , i must give her husband a hands up because he stood up for his women and the manager ran off so quick it was funny ,he was bulling her like that , whats worse when i talked to outside she said she as been messed over so much with applying for a job in this store ,that she can't believe she was still giving them a change knowing they needed the help ,and i most say that its true the store is a mess and as we talked ,and i explained my self she showed me her information with me , when i was looking at her paperwork because im a business owner in union sc , i was shocked how did they not see ,i did a background check on this young lady and she never showed me but i seen something that made me mad as hell , she was a VET , i could not believe my eyes and she as never revealed it because she feels that was a honor not something she wants people to hire her on , so what im going to say shame on that man in that store and i cant believe him ,or the fact he would treat anyone like that at all , i also learned that she went to brown mackie to study criminal science and had a master degree , in business ,accounting and so many other things , so i have to say i called her less then a week later and asked her to come work for us and we are glade to say she is , we are like friends know and i know i did't have to trust me she showed me her bank account this young lady dont ever have to work ,but to see someone like her that really wanted to , was a change of pace .. i good hard worker is hard to come by as we all now , she is just a country girl that dont care about getting her hand dirty , thanks dollar general for the perfect person,i also want the man that stood up too know you did a great thing and i was happy to see that ..... yours truly, Susan
