We took our whole family and my youngest son chose best - a split small dish of "Sweetest Fish" and "Rainbow Sour" ices, which tasted like a cold refreshing bowl of gummy candies. Yum! "Let us take you back to paradise", they assert. They boast a dollar menu - churros, hot dogs, knishes, funnel cake, corn dogs - much like the other additive-stricken, obesity-inducing, diabetes-initiating national institutions, but run the gambit on a local level. Sweet tooth engage, with Visa or MC or cash, at least. There are racks of HFCS, air hockey tables and arcades that don't seem to be turned on, and tables & chairs that seem to be on the verge of collapsing. They cite homemade ice cream but display Ben & Jerry's font inside. Their "two for Tuesdays" BOGO soft serve mirrors that of Ice Cream Cottage but won't steer me farther from home to Paradise, for a variety of reasons. The small gets you one flavor but 2 or 2.5 scoops, and I made my selection from the backmost display, one largely out of view unless you do some exploring. I went with the blueberry cheesecake, struggling to order from the guy on a personal call the whole time...after he actually even looked in my direction at all, that is. I coupled my purchase with a Twizzler assortment and sat at their umbrella'd tables outside. The frozen blueberry chunks were far from endearing and overpowered the flavor, but the overkill was still delicious. Hard to find novelty candies (aka Box of Bugers), old fashioned candies, and endless flavors of ice cream and italian ice. There is a .25 cent arcade in the back. If you trying to quit smoking they even have candy ciggaretts......which are sooooo polically correct!! ha ha I probably would have given them 5 stars except Neighborhood Rd. is skeevy. Hidden gem. We were staying at a friend's house and after a few days just at the beach we had a couple of days exploring. I regret finding this place on our last day as I would have gone everyday. Unlike a lot of modern candy/ice cream places, who are about their flashy displays without an unique choices, this place had an interesting choice, good prices, old school arcade set up at the back, huge selection of ice creams and ices and a drive thru window....... Brilliant. I wish them great success and maybe suggest trying to tape into beach traffic with more than just the road sign. read more

What an awesome place to bring the kids and the whole family. With so many flavors to choose from, it was hard to decide. So I got the chocolate browning and my girlfriend got the blueberry cheesecake. Let me tell you it was delicious. My two kids got German chocolate cake and a Spumante ice. YUMMY!!! On top of delicious ice cream, the prices were great am affordable. The service was wonderful. Also they don't just have ice cream, I love all the old fashioned candy, and glass coke bottles.
