His report did not mention any mold or moisture issues and that is the reason I purchased the house.Three weeks later I hired a contractor to replace my floors and he discovered mold 4 feet high in 4 rooms to the point that the interior walls were crumbling. I called David and sent emails with pictures and he claimed that I was being scammed and wanted to charge me to have the mold tested when clearly my walls were falling apart. He has not replied to my emails and I will report him to the better business bureau. I have plenty of pictures to prove it. His negligence put me in a financial hardship.

Working with the realtor, Acusystems was recommended, in particular David G. The inspection was performed and I received the reports stating their were some minor issues. I used this inspection as part of my decision to move forward and buy the house. Prior to the move, I scheduled an air conditioner company to go and perform a check-up and change all filters. During this service, it was noted that the air conditioning filter and vent contained mold and rust that were never mentioned on the inspection report from Acusystems. It is my opinion that the Acusystem inspection by David G was nothing more then turning the air conditioner on and once it worked, check the box. Due to this miss, I needed to invest in repairs in the thousands of dollars. When I contacted my realtor and David G, I was told it must of been something that happened after the inspection. Rust and mold do not appear overnight. The response I received when I reported this was "call your insurance company, maybe they'll take care of it". Needless to say, they did not since the issues were caused before the purchase of the house and subject to my policy. I would never use this company again, nor recommend their services to anybody else I care about.

Dave, the owner of Thomson, went through the house and found everything that was wrong, be it large or small. He documented each issue using both words and pictures and made suggestions for how what we might want to do to fix them. He then compiled all of this information in a big blue binder with his business name on it and sent it to us in the mail (as well as through email). When our insurance company required us to fix something quickly and complete a wind mitigation or risk being dropped, Dave came back out when we were ready for him and reinspected the issue. He answered my questions about the process and also explained why he was doing what he was doing and what some of the insurance company's lingo meant. He was easy to talk to and well informed about what he was doing. Because we didn't shop around, I can't really comment on Thomson's prices (were they too high? were you getting a steal?). I do know that they seemed reasonable for the amount of information that we were given. If you need a home to be inspected, I definitely recommend calling up Thomson Home Inspections and at least getting a quote.

About a month and a half into owning our home power to a quarter of the house went out I followed the process that they gave me which was to have the original inspection along with a quote from a new contractor and submit it to them so that they could take care of it the next day I called to find out what the next step was because the quote was rated at $6000 and the contractor that I got the quote from said the electrical box needed to be replaced years ago and that if my home insurance found out I had that electrical box they would not cover me so if my house burnt down because of that box, I would be SOL in a home I called this company back and they told me that they would only pay up to $500 and then when I asked for a supervisor, the supervisor intern tried to twist my words as if I caused a problem and that they would not cover me for that so please make sure you're asking questions and make sure that if something needs to be replaced, do not allow that contractor hired from them to pass it because they will not take care of you

The price that he quoted for the inspection was very fair. Also, Joe made himself available to us for information and questions during and after the inspection period, even calling us back at times that were less convenient for him because we were in a different time zone. After several phone calls of questions, we scheduled the inspection. David, one of the inspectors of this company, conducted the inspection. We weren't in town at the time of the inspection, but the next day we received a fifty eight page report. David was very thorough. He went in all of the most hard to reach places, including a tiny attic above the garage, another on the second floor, and every section of the multi-section roof. He even took pictures of each area referenced. His report was easy to read and to use. The Four Point report and Wind Mitigation report were included in the price. We also asked Joe for recommendations of quality companies that specialized in Wood Destroying Organism (WDO) inspections, home warranty services, and roofing repairs. Hello, I used Property Analytics, to get a report for a property I was buying…read more The report said the foundation check was performed as intended and up to Florida code. But later my contractor spotted a damaged pier. He looked under into crawling space and spotted a few more damaged piers. After the foundation report with another company majority of our piers has to be replaced. And this problem could have been spotted if Diego just looked under the house. I've tried to contact Diego via phone and emails, but he just ignoring me. I would never recommend anyone to use his services. If you are looking to perform an inspection remotely, try finding another company.
