She's barely left me all morning and as I write this, she lays curled up next to me on the couch. Ava is a joy in my life, and I often wonder how I was so lucky to end up with such an affectionate, playful, intelligent animal. She sleeps with me every night, and goes to bed when I do. She comes when I call, no matter where she is in the house or what she's doing. She warns me of visitors by standing alert and growling if anyone is at the door. Although she loves people, he's protective like a dog. She easily walks on a harness, and has learned that the harness and collar mean we're going outside, so she stands still and lets me put them on her. She plays games, loves canvas bags, makes the most adorable murder face if I hide half my face and stare at her. To break eye contact is to invite death from above. This cat adapted to car rides within a couple weeks of trial and error, and now will hop into a vehicle if someone holds the door open for her. She went on her first airplane ride (in-cabin) last month and aside from some crying at take off, was surprisingly well behaved without benodryl or other sedatives. All I used was a few spritzes of Feliway in her carrier. She didn't have any accidents, either, for the entire 8 hour commute. In fact, she came to us fully litter box trained and has never had an incident of going where she wasn't supposed to. As for size and markings, she looks so kitten-like and tiny to me, but according to United Airlines, as of last month, she weighs 12 pounds though she's incredibly lean. Then I see her next to a regular cat and realize she's huge. Her markings are lovely. She gets complements from random passers-by on a regular occasion. The most common question I get is if she's one of "those wild breeds". While Kelly makes no promises, I am allergic to cats. Horribly, horribly allergic, but Ava has never caused me so much as a sniffle. She slept nearly on my face when she was a baby, and not once did I ever wake up with itchy eyes or trouble breathing. As a breeder, Kelly has been fantastic. She met us halfway, in San Francisco, to pick up our new kitten, and a few months later when she attended a cat show in my home town, she texted me to let me know and invite me to meet up. Update…read more Unfortunately, on January 12th our sweetheart lost his fight to FIP, which is an incurable disease caused by a virus that mutates and becomes deadly. He was with us for 1 month and ten days. This diagnosis was a shock, the attempted treatment painful for all the family and we aren't sure how we can survive this loss. I do not blame Purrfect for this, and they have done what they could in refunding the full amount we paid right away; but I also wasn't aware that they aren't free of FIV/FeLV, FCOV & PKD. When being promised that the kitten's health is vetted, I never thought otherwise. Please, if purchasing a kitten from any cattery, ask for proof that your kitten is negative for FIV/FeLV & PKD, even that isn't a 100% guarantee, and I highly suggest you test again after you bring your kitten home per your vet's instructions. We started searching around for different boarding locations when my coworker recommended Northgate to us. Her sister said she had great experiences boarding her dog there in the past. We called to get a quote and decided to go with Northgate for his boarding. The prices are incredibly affordable and they do depend on dog weight. Also, they are pretty flexible with pick-up and drop-off times. Dropping our pug off for the first time ever was quite difficult, more for myself than for my pug. I did not realize how bad my separation anxiety would be. I started tearing up while dropping him off, but the staff at Northgate were incredibly friendly and eased any concerns I had and let me know I could contact them any time to check on him. Kristin, in particular, was extremely helpful and friendly. She sent us photos of our pug when we called to check in on him. Upon picking our pug up from Northgate, he is always freshly bathed and happy so we do highly recommend using Northgate for your boarding needs!

When I finally got Barbra on the phone ( by blocking my number) she said that when the cat dies I can have another for free! The cat is still alive and I taught him to walk with his front paws and he uses his stomach muscles to move his very weak back legs . I would have still taken him even though he is disabled. She really should have told me about his health problems. She really shouldn't charge money for a sick cat .

I came to her during one of the hardest periods of my life, after my dearest companion passed away unexpectedly because of a mistake at the vet. From the very beginning, Greta showed extraordinary empathy, kindness, and patience, without ever making us feel pressured or assuming we would necessarily move forward with her. She took real time to talk with me about what I was going through, handled our situation with so much sensitivity, and offered us the opportunity to experience her cat retreat so we could simply spend time with kittens without the pressure of immediately bringing another cat home. We already had two cats, and I was hoping to eventually find a companion for the one who remained, but Greta understood that grief does not move on a schedule. The cat retreat itself was wonderful, and it was there that we met Willow. Greta had actually held that litter for us because she knew we were especially interested, and she believed Willow was the kitten who best matched what we were looking for: cuddly, sweet, and deeply affectionate. She was absolutely right. Willow chose us, and we could not be happier. Willow is healthy, incredibly sweet, and wonderfully cuddly. Since bringing her home, we have not had a single health issue or even a single bout of diarrhea, which, frankly, is not something I can say about our other two Ragdolls. It is very clear that Greta runs her cattery with immense love, care, thoughtfulness, and thoroughness. The kittens were playful and clearly well socialized as they did not shy away from us at all. They even snuggled, which was another good sign the cats have lots of attention. Greta gave us bottles to feed the little sweeties. We came back for a second visit and stay for nearly an hour. We picked out a kitten after playing and snuggling with all the available kittens. It was hard to choose just one! We picked up a week later when he was old enough and Greta had a beautiful bag of goodies waiting for us to go home with our new kitty. Our sweetie warmed up to us the first night! We are still taking it slow so he can acclimate to his new surroundings, but I was really surprised he was able to get comfortable so quickly. We were really impressed by Greta's professionalism, kindness, and knowledge. These kitties are worth the premium paid (and still very reasonable compared to other breeders!).
