As the cliche goes, Five(5) Stars doesn't even justify the Quality, Workmanship and Dedication that was put forth towards my External Home painting and Sandstone Veneer project. Tyler presented me with a very clear, concise and value added Scope Of Work. I was continually Updated; lines of communication are very important, and I am very appreciative in that regard. An attribute that I found most impressive is that Tyler has a bit of OCD and demands perfection from himself, and that was quite evident; he treats his projects as his own; he starts early and stay's late always ensuring perfection throughout! It, for me was never about time, it was and is about the end-item-result: "Quality!" I got more than what I asked for! Even though the Company Logo Wrap on his vehicle reads "Parallel Painting", he is very qualified in other areas of home improvement ie. stucco repair and replacement, lighting replacement, wood repair, doorbell replacement, the installation of a Wind Vane, Screen replacement and who knows what else? we both had a positive shared vision for the external portion of my house. Neighbors are gawking and complimenting the professionalism and high-end workmanship that I received from Tyler. Would I recommend him and his services? That's an Understatement! Parallel painting did it again! They painted my 1500 sq ft condo and it looks superb! Tyler knows his stuff! As always hes polite and professional....and when I ask his opinion- he never steers me wrong. Of course as the project went along, more items popped up that I wanted done- scope creep! But Tyler didn't mind and handled it like a champ. As a customer we need to remember that when we add items to the project after its begun, we cant expect the same timeline, it's for one unrealistic and two, its rude to the contractor. If I add additional items while project is under way and I was already given a time line, then it's up to me to be flexible with the accommodations I am recieving for adding scope. My project isnt his only one. His company is growing because San Diego is seeing his work and loving it! Tyler's services are well worth it! They did a good job initially. On time, good work. Not even a year later some paint started to fade on the side of the house. I emailed Tyler and asked about the warranty, he replied that he would come by within 2 weeks to paint it. 3 months later he still hasn't come by and he won't return my calls, emails or texts. So he doesn't honor the warranty. I would not recommend Parallel Painting. Update: Finally made contact with owners. Came to a resolution and they came by to repaint wall. read more

I was first impressed by Tyler's professionalism, he provided a straight quote for painting a 17 foot wall, and a chair rail and 8 ft window blinds installation. I was happy when he said he can take on those 2 additional jobs. His crew came on time for our appointment and Gabriel, Tygh and Brian were courteous, responsive and very conscientious with their work. Tyler and his crew just finished painting our kitchen cabinets, island, and master bathroom cabinets. He turned our beech colored wood shaker cabinets into white cabinets and painted our island blue for a nice pop of color. Oct 2019 update tyler provided estimates for several additional projects but never showed up. Multiple attempts to reach him have failed. Really sad about this as Tyler does great work. I have used Parallel Painting for several painting projects throughout this year. Here is what I had done: 1) Repaint several interior walls (I bought a house with garish red paint on several walls that needed repainting) 2) Garage floor epoxy 3) Repaint Kitchen cabinets (the house I bought had peeling kitchen cabinets because the prior owner used the wrong paint for the cabinets) 4) Repaint Master Bathroom cabinets (see #3--same issue) 5) Repaint cabinets in powder room (see #3--same issue) 6) Whole house paint interior for a 3800 square foot home (I hired Tyler and his team to paint my parents' home for a present) 7) Concrete paint on the driveway and backyard plus sealant 8) Repaint deck **Pros: Tyler was always on time for any estimates I needed. He made a great first impression when I first met him back in February of this year and arrived right on the dot for his appointment!. And all estimates were sent to me within 24 hours. His estimates also included a choice of which type of paint to use (high, mid, low) and I liked that he gives his customers choices on this since people like choices! His prices are super reasonable, and competitive--I solicited bids from other painters in the CV area and his, by far, beat everyone else's. I've met a lot of his team and everyone has been very nice and friendly. **Constructive feedback: There were some minor issues that came up in terms of furniture being moved incorrectly which caused a scratch on my mother's floor and other outdoor furniture moved to the neighbor's yard (luckily, the neighbor was super understanding) BUT Tyler dealt with every issue that I brought to him quickly which is super appreciated.** I will definitely be hiring Tyler and his company for future projects based on customer service, competitive pricing, on time estimates, and solid execution of services. read more

He followed up quickly with a very competitive quote. I made some color changes, before the job started, that he was very responsive and accommodating in making the adjustments. Tyler was also able to add in a fairly big, last-minute railing project that was completed incorrectly by the builder. On the first day of the job, I met the crew onsite and walked through the colors with Briss, the supervisor for the job. Briss was also excellent and very detailed oriented. He took control of the project and was very responsive to any areas my husband or I pointed out that needed attention throughout the job.
