So uncomfortable! Was there for the first time last night; the seating is so close and tight! At least 3 people in out little balcony section could not sit down in their seats! I am not sure I will ever return; I am an avid live music aficionado and have seen 100's of shows all around New England and NY. The seating is so close - if they had just reduced the seats by 2 or 3 per row if would be so much better. I had a germ factory sit next to me - he actually had a cup that he kept hawking into during the show. I wish I was kidding or exaggerating but I am not. Absolutely gross. The usher seated him; not sure how she missed that the man was unfit to be in a public space and why he was not refused entry? Or seated in a less densely occupied space? So much for enjoying Lyle Lovett and John Hyiatt - I spent close to 400$ and drove over 200 miles to rub elbows with this filthy cretin. It's a beautiful building with fabulous history; I was looking forward to this epic combo and it was very difficult to enjoy. Paramount - DO BETTER! read more

Places like this are great venues that you don't want to lose. We enjoyed our time watching a concert. Not a bad seat in the house. Staff were very friendly and everything went very smoothly. read more

The lobby was sweltering hot and the theater not pleasantly cool. Paul Riser and Katlyn were great.

Really liked this venue and the people that work there. Great sound. Great sightlines. Nice lobby. They let you out to smoke or what have you. It's very chill. Only problem is the beer cutoff at 9pm...I dunno I hear they may have run out of stuff...but just seems like they lost money on that. That said I would revisit in a heart beat! read more

I love this theater so much, that I'll travel four hours to see a show there. The theater has been exquisitely restored to what looks like its original state. The first six rows stage left and right consists of two seats each. You and your companion can have a row to yourself! The theater is so small that there are no bad seats. The shows are reasonably priced, and the yearly lineup is surprisingly good. The only negative is that not enough people support this theater. Membership is low, so I became a member even though I only see about two shows a year there. More Vermonters need to support this theater! read more

Lots of great shows every year. However the place could use an update. Lots of chipped paint and crack seats. Not to mention the seats are super close together. Not much fun sitting on top of a stranger no matter how small you are. read more

This is a nice theater. Comfortable seats for the general audience. Drinks, including alcoholic drinks, are available to the audience (the first time I have experienced such a thing.) The box seats looked less comfortable than the general seats, as they were simple, cushioned straight-back chairs. It's a beautiful building, and I would go back again. read more
