Came here after I was referred by a friend. I checked out a few reviews online and saw that most were very good. I wish I could remember the name of the nurse who assisted me but she was HORRIBLE. From the moment I was in the room with her I could sense her horrible attitude and unwillingness to assist me. The doctor check up was quick. Prescribed me some medicine that I was to pick up from Walgreens. Which by the way-- the Walgreens that the nurse "sent" my prescription to didn't even have a pharmacy.... So that was a whole situation on it's own trying to obtain the prescription that was sent to a pharmacy that didn't exist... So thank you RUDE nurse working in healthcare. Try to remember why you decided to work in this industry in the first place... either change your attitude or your career choice. read more

Paramount Urgent Care is BY FAR THE BEST Urgent Care place I have EVER and I mean EVER seen. Their speed of care and quality of service is UNMATCHED across ANY other provider. They were kind, quick and extremely professional and went to extra mile for me multiple times. Honestly, they are better at doing this than my regular family Doctor/Doctor's Office. They just nail it in every respect and I would VERY highly recommend Paramount (ANY LOCATION) to you if you want great Urgent and professional care QUICKLY. Came in for a workmans comp follow up at the request of My employer. Horrible! Wait time was over an hour and I was the only person in the lobby at 8am. Dr wldnt look me in the eyes and didn't even touch me to do a check to see if I was ok. Unprofessional, rude and inconsiderate. I won't be back nor wld I recommend. read more

Ive been here twice - they are consistently quick, courteous, kind and efficient. I was more than happy with my visit - for routine medical issues this is the way to go. Have the sense to know if you need urgent care or ER - there is a difference. I would recommend that you have the address of your pharmacy before you go it helps. read more

I visited this clinic in March 2016 and April 2017. Both experiences were excellent. The wait was short and the healthcare was very good. We saw a nurse followed by a PA both times. The staff were knowledgable, asked ample questions, and called our local Walgreens with the prescriptions. Everything went great! If the unfortunate need arises again, we will use Paramount again. read more

Excellent staff! On our second day here vacationing in Orlando my daughter developed severe ear pain during the night. Paramount was close to our hotel and had good reviews. The entire staff was very caring, warm and helpful. We were seen fairly quickly and the doctor was great. He was genuinely concerned about clearing up my daughter's ear infection before we were due to fly back home. Would definitely recommend this location! It's very hard to be so far away from home with sick children, and a caring staff can make all the difference. Thank you again Paramount! read more

We were vacationing in Orlando when I became sick with a respiratory infection. We went here because we had used this Urgent Care before and were pleased with the care we received. Again we were very pleased. The staff was friendly and the PA we saw was very considerate and was thorough. The only complaint was regarding the prescriptions I bought from them instead of going to a pharmacy. I thought that they should have been more thorough about the instructions we received. In fact the directions were not fully readable on the label and when I called back it took them awhile to figure it out too. I probably wouldn't purchase my prescriptions from them again, unless absolutely necessary. read more

I was pretty impressed with the efficiency of this center. I got in and out very quickly. I was even able to fill my prescription there rather than send it to my pharmacy. The price was a little bit more for the prescriptions, but it made my life easier as I had many things to do after. If you can't get to your doctor, go here. I will go back if need be. read more

I have been to this location twice now and both experiences have been wonderful! I do not have a family physician so urgent care centers are what I use when I need health care. My daughter went here for serious foot pain. She was sent away with a prescription. No x-ray. She continued to work (a job that involves her being on her feet). Weeks later a podiatrist confirmed a fracture. She's in a boot now. Cannot work. Is not getting paid. Big disappointment. An x-ray would have shown the injury. read more

Went in to see the doctor which was pretty straightforward and trouble free. Had some test done, got results of my test, doctor called in an Rx for me. I took the Rx (antibiotics) realized I had been drinking red grapefruit juice (loading on vitamin C), red grapefruit juice happens to neutralize or have negative effects on my specific antibiotic. Called the doctors told them what had happened they said I shouldn't worry about it and that if I didn't feel better to call them back, I called them back they said you need to come in again for evaluation. I asked what types of evaluations they would do? The doctor would not give me an answer just kept saying I need to come in. Seems they just want to collect a second payment opposed to calling in the Rx again so I can take it while not drinking red grapefruit juice. When I asked the doctor why they didn't mention certain drinks would cancel this medication out he has no comment. The doctor did not seem very competent actually. He was not able to answer what type of evaluations he would be doing be it physical inspection or more tests. Maybe the guy was not even a doctor, just an admin pretending to be a doctor not thinking that someone would actually inquire about medical details, who knows. Anyways due to his lack of knowledge or willingness to help me understand what evaluations or tests I might be able to expect if I made a return visit I am opting to get my test results and take them elsewhere. If I am going to pay for a second visit, I may as well get a doctor who will take the time to talk with you. I won't be returning to Paramount Urgent Care. read more

Long wait which is understandable because flu season is very prevalent right now. The staff has no sense of urgency. Receptionist are great. Overheard staff in back talking about a patient's child. When you get sick, people need comforting word and show that you care about them. This urgent care have it. I wish I could give this place a negative star rating...but that's not an option. I was sent here from my company when I injured my right ankle/foot last week. Everything seemed great and when the physician came back to the room after my xrays... I was ready for the news. Unfortunately, the news I was given was shocking(and more important wrong). I was told I had 2 fractures in my foot and that I would need to see an orthopaedic surgeon. They complained about how slow workers comp follows up and told me to be prepared to get the run around. I was also told that I would need to be ready to not put any pressure on my foot for 6-8 weeks as there was a bone fragment floating around my foot and I would most likely need surgery. I freaked out and burst into tears as I've never broken a bone and I needed to be able to drive and work. I was then told that I couldn't get crutches there as workers comp wouldn't cover it(even though my adjustor called them directly and told them we were self-insured). They still told me that they were billing me directly for them. I was able to get an appointment with the Ortho(that I found on my own through my company) the following day and when he told me that there were no breaks...imagine my surprise. He ordered an MRI just to be sure that he didn't miss anything. I just had my follow-up. No fractures anywhere. Nothing except just fluid on a big bruise and a little bit of swelling. Had an emergency while at a conference in Orlando this month. Tried calling the first urgent care to show up on my phone and they hemmed and hawed and were concerned about money and where I was located etc. After being disconnected twice, moved on to Paramount Urgent Care. How refreshing! Professional staff, clean, and calm environment. Didn't wait at all. The receptionist was excellent and helpful. The paramedic was reassuring and the P.A. was knowledgeable, listened to me and responded right away to my needs. DO NOT GO HERE! Let me start by saying that the doctor and the PA's are nice. Visited this urgent care three times after an MVA to be seen. The front desk staff are always unprofessional, rude and disorganized. They would forget to give me referrals, give me wrong intake paperwork and the doctor would have to call me to correct it. The second visit the rude CNA forget to take the pulse rate monitor on my finger and walked out.The last and final visit the person (paramedic) who took my vitals, was very abrasive, condescending and rude. He asked me for my age and list of current medications that their doctors had prescribed, of which is clearly listed in my chart. When I informed him that I did not remember the med list,he then became angry and ripped off my BP cuff and threw it in the basket. He proceeded to slam the door on the way out and yelled in the hall to his colleague that I refused to give him the list of medications and my age. During check out the front desk girl was nasty and rude. She too was argumentative, when I asked as to why my co-pay was different from what I was told by my insurance company. She started to yell and scream at me with a waiting room filled with patients. She was so disrespectful that the physician assistant had to help me check out and write out my scripts. She behaved as if I had inconvenienced her and she was doing me a favor. I called the officer manager who was at the Villages location the following day and I was told by that the owners would contact me in several days and I was never contacted by them at all! I did call back to speak to them and again no return call. Can't wait to see my bill and will expect that it has some errors. I only went to this urgent care that is over 20 minutes away from me because it was listed on my health insurance plan and the closest one had closed. I would suggest going to Centracare or Dr. Phillips hospital if you are an adult and Nitelite pediatric for your children around the corner. They have always been professional when we have gone there. I am truly thankful that I did not bring my kid to this place after the accident and I will never visit any Paramount location again! I came down with a very uncomfortable skin infection while on vacation. I was able to see the PA within an hour (the first urgent care I went to up the street had a 2 hour wait time), got a prescription and was on my way. The nurses and office staff were very friendly and efficient. They saved our vacation!! read more

While on vacation with family I got terribly sick, thought it was pneumonia based on the symptoms, found them on yelp and both my daughter and I were seen. Convenient location, facility was clean and actually reeked of disinfectant when we arrived in the waiting area ( a little too strong for us sickies). Vitals were done and a pa saw us both promptly. (dont expect a full doctor here) His diagnosis was spot on and I actually had acute bronchitis brought on by the flu I contracted. I was given breathing treatment for immediate relief and a steroid shot, written prescriptions and was on my way quickly. Daughters flu was prescribed steroids and tamiflu. In all I am a happy customer and would use them again. I noted the prescription when picked up had another pa name as the prescriber, but that did not bother me. My experience saw no inefficiencies named by others, use with confidence. read more

I went there two days ago after being referred by the Minute Clinic in Dr. Phillips. I was seen by a doctor within 20 minutes and given the proper diagnosis and procedures towards relieving my symptoms. I am really happy with the doctor and the nurse and if I need their help in the future, I will definitely be back! The only reason why I give this place four stars is the disgusting receptionist. That girl has no idea how to respond to "Hello, how are you?", or what a proper customer service is. Never smiled at me although I was really nice to her just asking for help because I was barely breathing. Gave me the feeling that I am actually there asking her for a favor and if I am not being a good girl, I will not be helped. While waiting for the doctor to see me, I noticed her answering a few calls while making nasty faces and rolling her eyes I guess at the people on the phone. When leaving I said "Thank you" which of course was left with no response. What an unpleasant young lady! Definitely not what you want at the front door of your business. read more
