What grabbed our interest is a place that specializes in big NOTB (North Of The Border) style burritos as their flagship menu item. Real Deal California Burrito fits the bill. Don't let the fact that California Burrito is a bit of a Tex-Mex type of eatery dissuade you, it is not a NOTB chain. The menu also includes quesadillas, guacamole, tacos, chips and salsa along with fries (w/cheese, etc.). We ended up ordering two burritos. A pork burrito and a Real Deal burrito. The Real Deal burrito has french fries and beef steak inside along with the other burrito ingredients. The pork burrito has shredded pork (like pulled pork), but slow cooked rather than smoked. All the ingredients were fresh and tasty. You get to pick what ingredients you want added and the burritos are assembled as you watch. The burritos are large, it was quite a feat to finish two whole burritos between the two of us (I ate 2/3rds). The pork burrito won the day with the more traditional rice and beans inside rather than french fries, but both were good. I recommend the agua fresca on ice as well, and one was large enough to share. It was especially enjoyable meeting and chatting with the owners mom and the owner (who made our food) during our lunch. The business is bright, airy and sparkling clean as mentioned in other reviews. Great food and great prices.

I met the owner and he gave me a history of his idea and goals for the future while creating me this monster burrito. The restaurant is air conditioned, squeaky clean, and everything is locally sourced and made fresh to order. The light fixtures, seating area, and creation station are industrial chic. The burrito itself is delicious and my freshly made lemonade is refreshing on this super warm day.
