Happy Paris Baguette is expanding. We have been enjoying Paris baguette for a while. There a bunch of them in SoCal. After moving to nj we used to visit the location in Edison. This place is conveniently located off the 22 near a bunch of restaurants and has ample parking. Pastry quality is better than the average bakery. Prices are a little higher but reasonable. They also serve drinks which are really good. I'll try a cake from this location later as their cakes are usually pretty good too. read more

A Korean bakery with Parisian vibes! Food is always fresh and the place is clean and makes me feel comfortable to walk in and look around even during Covid times. Love their savory pastries for breakfast especially the ones with curry or crab flavor. In addition their croissants are to die for! I loved their green tea cake slices however they now have a modified pricey frozen version . I have ordered birthday cake once and they are so light and fluffy! Wow! I've been meaning to come in for a long time, but we finally did today. Everything is displayed beautifully, pastries were delicious, coffee tasty, and we even got to try a sample of a cake that we happened to be eying anyway. While there, we decided we'd be buying a cake from their amazing display for a party next week. Asked the manager if it's better to order it ahead and he said if you want a particular one, order 48 hours in advance and they can even write happy birthday or something on it. We will definitely be back! So many things to try! read more

I've been going to the Paris Baguette in Edison for years since there wasn't any nearby my house, so I'm really happy that one opened up just 5 minutes away from my house. In the first weekend that they opened, I went to PB three times, and I loved it there everytime. There's always a great selection of baked goods, some days there's a greater selection but it all depends on how busy the cafe gets so I get it. The decor is also really pretty, sometimes it's nice to go and just chill at the cafe, maybe study a little bit. It's not that loud depending on when you go, so you could treat yourself and have a fun time studying. read more

Great ambiance. Happened to pass through the area and had a coffee craving. Ordered the Java chip frappe (strong chocolate syrup taste) and an iced coffee. No gluten free options if you have celiacs, but you can breathe safely here (all the wheat products are individually bagged and sealed). Bathroom needs some cleaning. Okay so not a bad place to go it's got a whole bunch of yummy desserts pastries cakes croissants and such it's a bit expensive but I think it's worth it the one thing that I did notice about it is I have tried a lot of things in this place and the cakes I find myself sometimes asking where's the sugar that's not necessarily a bad thing but if I'm eating a chocolate strawberry cake I want to taste the chocolate in the cake and you don't I'm not sure if this place goes easy on the sugar for people in any case that would be a great thing so I would definitely recommend this place. read more

I have yet to find matcha croissant in a Paris Baguette until I visited the one in Bridgewater! If you're a matcha or a fruit tart fan -- this is the Paris Baguette for you! They had a wide array of fruit, cream, and matcha pastries! I have gone into this store 5 straight times over the course of the last 3 months due to the fact that they advertise Mochi donuts. They have NEVER once actually had mochi donuts available. I finally asked the workers at the counter if there was a schedule of when they would be guaranteed to be there since I've never actually seen them. They literally could not give me an answer on when these donuts get made. So due to the false advertising, I'd have to say it's a major fail. read more

A beautiful dessert for an incredibly price? You can absolutely find that here! You walk into a super clean and stark white environment that completely showcases all the beautiful French patisserie. Everything there looks like it was baked to perfection. It smelled like buttery pastry as soon as you walked in. I ordered just a chocolate cake and it was beautiful. It also tasted absolutely incredible! It was the type of chocolate cake you could continuously eat without feeling like oh my god this is too much chocolate. You absolutely got the delish, decadent flavor but it was just not overpowering and it didn't make you feel disgustingly full; it was fantastic. The staff was wonderful and so informative about all their baked goods. They also package it for beautifully and they give you your own plastic cake cutter with matches inside if it's for a birthday! I was in the area for lunch and my friend kept raving about this bakery so I stopped in a bought a couple treats. Everything looked delicious but I opted for some dessert items. I bought the cheesecake soufflé and the chocolate strawberry cake both desserts were super light and airy but they lacked flavor and sweetness for me. Really the only thing that had flavor were the berries that were decorating the cakes. I guess I just prefer a good old diabetes inducing dessert instead. Is be happy to try some of their items though! read more

This is the best location I've been to. They have a huge selection of pastries.. way more than surrounding NJ locations. Today I picked up two Boston creme muffins which are my all time favorite pastry from here! Eventually is well stocked and although they are busy, they swiftly assist customers. read more

I'm going to give this place 5 stars, primarily because of its LOCATION. I've grown up on Paris Baguette in multiple locations and one thing this area has been lacking is a different type of bakery: French-inspired, Korean based. I love that amidst the chain of pizza, burgers, and New American food joints that flank this Paris Baguette site, this place exists. It adds uniqueness to the complex, variety to locals who may not be used to matcha-filled desserts, fluffy Korean pastries, and boba. This places gets a LOT of natural sunlight so the vibe is warm and busy! A perfect place to make a pit stop to pick up some yummy goodness before heading on one's way. I wish the place was more spacious to sit around and get some work done but not sweating that at the moment. read more

I've always visited the Edison location so I'm very excited for their arrival in the Bridgewater area. Arrived around 7pm on their soft opening day and most things were gone which is understandable. The owners were in the store greeting guests and handing out sample cakes. I tried the green tea blueberry cake which was excellent. I'd say the quality is the same as the other stores. We also ordered a bubble milk tea. That however was below average. It had too much ice and the tea was really watered down even at first sip. There was no sweetness to it as well. I will return to try their pastries and hopefully they up their bubble tea game by then. read more

This place rocks. No need to go to Paris. Had a strange but surprisingly delicious strawberry and fresh cream in a croissant. Chai latte was too weak and they replaced with cappuccino. Great service and variety. A bit pricey but worth it. Highly recommended. read more

I live out of state and have ordered from this bakery for my elderly parents who live nearby and who I haven't seen for a year now due to covid. For these reasons, I haven't personally tried their baked goods but for my parents it has been one of few pleasures they can enjoy during quarantine. They tell me with almost a feeling of glee how lovely the cakes are - light and decadent but not too rich and sweet for their tastes. The bakery has a great variety and cakes change by season which is wonderful. I use their website to order through Door Dash which usually works perfectly. My mother's 74th birthday was last weekend and I had ordered her a cake and some pastries to be delivered. Long story short, the DoorDash delivery went awry and the items were delivered to the wrong house. Unfortunately they were extremely unhelpful in rectifying the situation but when I reached out to the bakery they went above and beyond. Shout out to Janika (sp?) who, with her manager, arranged a second delivery when I explained I was out of state and at work at a busy hospital where I didn't have the time to argue with Door Dash on the phone all day. I was almost in tears! I am so thankful to them for making sure my mom got her much anticipated birthday cake at a time when she couldn't have many other special things thanks to covid. Love this place! The pastries are always fresh, beautiful and well packaged. There's a good variety of both sweet and savory treats. The croissant donuts are incredible. I recently tried the chocolate chiffon cake and it was fantastic: The chocolate cake is moist & rich, the cream is so light and fluffy, fruit is fresh, the presentation is gorgeous, and the packaging is great (cake secured on a base that slides out of the box). Never heard of this place before it moved into the new Chimney Rock complex. Walking in the place is spotless and very clean. It's a little confusing at first because it is a self service style bakery but once you figure it out, it's a good set up. Came here for an afternoon snack. Was impressed with the variety of pastries. They had a nice assortment of pastries, croissants, muffins, sweet and savory offerings, and even some sandwiches and drinks. We tried a sweet potato sesame stick, boston creme pie croissant muffin, berry tart, and prosciutto & cheese pastry. The savory pastry was so yummy. The berry tart was not too sweet. The filling of the cruffin filling was super creamy. Everything was delicious! Prices were pretty affordable as well. Not my first visit but may be my last. Was served wrong drink and wasn't offered back the difference I was charged. Many tables were dirty and occupied. Employees or managers took up 2 tables with computers and paperwork leaving even less for customers. They should have been aware and had staff clean table and give up theirs. Cakes look great. It's like a nice coffee/bakery shop. They have a lot of selection in the morning time but as the day goes by there isn't that much of a selection. There is nice seating and ambience in this shop, it's right next to some other food spots. I waited a few weeks before deciding to come by...mainly bc usually the first couple of weeks can be dicey with some places. I ordered a lot (too much?) - 2 boxed cakes and then roughly a dozen pastries and iced chai latte with soy milk. Unfortunately I wasn't able to try the boxed cakes so I'll have to come back to that eventually. I did, however, try a lot of the pastries. The flavors and textures were pretty consistent with what I've had at other locations. That makes me happy. I sometimes find slight differences in tastes. I wasn't really thrilled with the iced drink though.../even though it was shaken, it felt very pasty and I noticed it was a powder. I've had a few other powdered versions across various places and it was never this pasty. Perhaps I will stick to the other non powdered coffee drinks. I'd come back to try the cakes read more

Me and my family have been eagerly been awaiting the opening of this location. I have been going to the edison one since they opened but this location is 2 minutes from our home and have some of the best pastries and cakes and some prepared sandwiches. It's a great spot for any group of people looking for some great desserts , breakfast items to go with that morning coffee. Also you can pick up a dessert for a gathering. They also serve up coffees, lattes , and some cold drinks to quench that thirst. I especially love when you walk in grab a tray and load it up with all kinds of different treats. The chocolate croissants are my husband and daughters favorite. I love the variety of pastries and sweets treats. You can grab a quick sandwich on your lunch break I love the turkey avocado one and the capris baguette is delicious. I usually go overboard every time I come into a Paris Baguette. Pricing is average to a usual bakery but the quality is so much better here. I'm so happy they opened a location so close to me . I'm definitely in trouble but a good trouble . Amazing little bakery/cafe with easy parking and friendly staff. My girlfriend and I visited the cafe on a Sunday for lunch. There were several patrons I noticed were a bit confused about the trays and self service. But once they watched others they quickly got the idea. You could see their delight when they realized they could choose as many different scrumptious looking bakery items as they wanted. My girlfriend and I bought a traditional French baguette, a bacon egg toastie, rotisserie chicken sandwich on a toasted croissant, a bag of mini cheese danishes, and a fruit tart. Everything was amazing and we were very happy the baguette was real. In Europe they back baguettes differently than most bakery's here in the USA. Thankfully, this bakery knows how to get the crunchy outside with chewy hole filled center of the baguette. I will be back twice a week from now on. (Unless they change the baguette recipe...) One other thing, if they could add a traditional Croque-Monsieur to the menu it would be perfect! read more

I was surprised how small this place was once inside. The selection was not what I expected but the presentation was nice. I wish they had more variety for smaller treats but the chocolate croissant was tasty and it appears they offer more along those options versus smaller cakes/cupcakes, cookies, etc. They have a lot of options for drinks. Seating is limited and it is a little cramped if it gets busy. I would try one of their cakes if I had a special occasion but if looking for just a simple treat like I was together with our 4yr old, we'd go to the Mediterranean bakery or Bridgewater one.
