It took a few minutes but eventually a seat was available. This place was still clean, the staff was equally as friendly and the coffee and food were still onpoint! I consider myself a 'regular', it's so close to home and its a great place for me to read a book or work on my laptop during 'non-peak' hours.

However, when work brought me in their direction recently, I had to pay a visit to get one of my favorite drinks: their signature Ube Coconut Matcha. Chapter 2 Coffee Roasters isn't very far from the Rutgers campus, so don't be surprised if the place is packed with college kids if you visit on a weekday. Nevertheless, Chapter 2 Coffee Roasters will keep you coming back with their delicious drinks, friendly service, and welcoming environment. This was a great place to meet and chat before meetings. We took out our laptops to get a little work done (they do not have wifi so I don't recommend you plan to do that without a hotspot). For two sandwiches, two lattes and one hot cup of tea it came out to $60 after tax and tip. That is on the more expensive side, but I still am happy to have found a lovely lunch spot in the area.

I finally returned and ordered a cold brew with a splash of whole milk. The whole milk helped balance the slightly bold/bitter profile from their organic beans and made it a much more enjoyable cup. I appreciate a place that cares :)
