This place has been here for a while now but this is my first time going in here. It seemed to be fully stocked and ready for the morning rush. Most items are up for grabs yourself which is different than most coffee shops where you have to wait for someone to get it for you. You have to order up front the coffee and teas though and bigger cakes, which makes sense. The staff all seemed upbeat and ready to help. The vibe overall was calm. You had those who looked like they came to catch up with one another and those that came to get in and out, like I was today lol Everything was nice. The bacon, cheddar and egg croissant were delicious and generous in size compared to what I get in Starbucks. I will come back again time when I have time to sit and enjoy the experience a little more, today I was in a rush. Overall, I give 5 stars. It is a little pricey but for size and taste, worth it. Running errands in Yonkers, I noticed Paris Baguette taking up a sizable portion of the H Mart strip mall. Sweet! Bright, clean and inviting esthetics. This bakery with its Parisienne seating is quite pleasing to the eye. Unfortunately, as far as service goes the staff was not so inviting. No greeting or acknowledgment by staff upon entry, though a member was directly by the entrance. Kinda weird. Anyway, being my first time here, I figured out their purchasing process. Grab a tray and tongs. Choose your item. Pay at the register. I even gladly assisted this gentleman who seemed lost and needed guidance on the process. Chosen items listed in order of preference: Croissant Crisp with Nutella (Cronut) Cream Cheese Donut Pain au Chocolate Ganache Chocolate Bombolone I am not a big sweets person, but I will say when I took a bite of the Croissant Crisp it was an eyes closed, food moaning moment. This is a relatively new business on 1771 Central Ave in Yonkers. I think it had its debut a few months ago. This speciality bakery café serves pastries; donuts, croquettes, baked breads; cakes; brewed coffees and teas; and grab-n-go salads and sandwiches. I walked in here on a Monday around 6:30 pm. A few patrons sitting at tables chomping'. I grabbed a box and some wax papers and went to town. I chose a crab meat croquette, 2 sugar mochi donuts and 2 chocolate chip muffins. Customer service: as I was wandering around the store looking at all of the foods being offered I was asked by one of the employee if I wanted a tong, she was hanging quite a few of them at the area where the take away boxes, the plates on top of serving trays and the wax papers were stored. Waiting at the counter to pay took awhile and there were two cashiers working. I was able to use my Apple Pay and I was on my way home with the bakery booty. I ate the crab meat croquette in the car. Which is a crispy panko donut filled with imitation crab, potato, and vegetables. It was okay but not as savory as you think it would be. The middle was watery and the veggies, I could make out some thinly sliced carrots, outnumbered the imitation crab. I barely tasted crab flavor. So when I arrived home, I gave the donuts to my two kids. When the teenager bit into the sugar mochi donut, he says, " Are these supposed to be hard?" To which I replied, "No, let me have a go at it." When I bit into this shiny, sugar coated, thin, donut, I was so surprised when i couldn't bite hard enough to break it off in my mouth. I mean it was harder and tougher than the driest piece of beef jerky. Surprisingly, not at all what I was expecting texture wise. This is unacceptable for a bakery that supposedly prides its goods on freshness, quality and a certain , "je ne sais quoi" which in French means, "I don't know what". All I can say is, I don't know what the hell went wrong when I bit into that tougher than leather donut! What a letdown. Now the other sugar mochi donut was soft & was edible thankfully, but it was totally overshadowed by the hard as a rock, inedible one. Hugely dissatisfied, especially after paying over 27$ for all the above mentioned food items. Will I be back to eat, not any time soon. But I will be back to make it known that I felt gipped for overpaying on an inedible donut and will certainly be either asking for money back or to exchange for some other "freshly prepared food item." I did not sample any coffee or cakes. But I'm turned off by this bakery at this point & I don't look forward to returning for coffee, cakes, donuts or ANYTHING for that matter! Customer service was abysmal. Come on, get it right! The only excuse I can think of is that it's a fairly new biz. And I'll give them the benefit of the doubt with ironing out some kinks. read more

Also like the assortment of self serves fresh pastries , and sliced pieces of cakes and pies , Decent hot and cold beverages, good sandwiches and other tasty goodies besides the sweet stuff . Priced reasonable and this location is clean and organized when ordering beverages . Got my slice of blueberry yogurt cake , a chocolate croissant for later or not and a hot decaf cappuccino. 4.5 stars on my yelp meter and I couldn't leave without 2 hot fresh out of the oven baguettes. This place is the absolute worst. I bought three simple pastries, including an apple pastry, a croissant and a mochi doughnut. I only took one bite of each because each one was as stale as a brick. Unbeatable. I had to wait online for over 13 minutes. Customer service is atrocious. The place looks dirty and it just opened. I was charged $17.35 for this garbage and I will never go back again. Was in the area and dropped in and got an almond raspberry croissant- WOW, it was absolutely delicious! Not only that, the cafe itself is very nice, spacious, and will be a great place to meet for coffee with friends. Today I was in Hartsdale and came across the same bakery, I was craving that delicious croissant again so went in. It was SO disappointing. Not the same at all! The Paris Baguette in Hartsdale made the raspberry almond croissant with a couple of raspberries and no jam inside at all. It was such a let down. Plus the cafe itself is not as welcoming and not somewhere I would want to sit in and have a coffee and dessert. Definitely will not go back there even though it's closer to my home. I understand the location is new and they are straightening out their operations but I have gone multiple times, every time before 2pm and they have no more sandwiches. They say that's it for the day. Even some of the deserts are gone by that time and you're lucky if you can buy what you want. The shelves should be stocked until 6pm at least. The sandwiches are very good but they are shoved into those little boxes which deforms the bread and sandwich so I have to fix it before I eat it. Aside from that the manger is very nice and helpful but I think his hands are tied. The staff in the kitchen needs more training on preparing sandwiches. read more
