After waiting 6 months for my hair to grow out from a bad cut and balayage, I made an appointment at Paris Hair Design. I was so lucky that Jordan answered the phone. My experience was nothing short of phenomenal. She took time with me and gave great suggestions on how to correct the issues with the color, and blend everything beautifully. The hair cut that followed was perfect, she knew exactly what I wanted and more importantly what I needed. She also showed new ways to style it, which knocked off years from my appearance. I had to revise my 5 star review. This is not a "negative" review, but I feel you should be warned what to ask for if you go here. For the past 7 months, I went to the newest person at the salon who was GREAT. Unfortunately, she had to answer to phone for the salon or stop what she was doing to sweep up hair from other stylists on the floor when they were done - even when she had me as a client in her chair! Unreal. This happened EVERY appointment I had there. I was paying the same amount as any other client there, FYI and there was other staff that could have answered the phone or swept up their own client's hair. It was ... weird and disrespectful to her and me. Back in May when my neck was *bent over backwards in the bowl* while the foils/highlight was being washed out of my hair, she left me there for at least 5 minutes to schedule appointments for other stylists! Yes, other staff was there and my neck was killing me. There were always other people there to answer the phone - they just made her do it. Yesterday, she sat me in the chair and we were about to start, but she had to stop and wash the hair of *two* clients for the owner. After 20 minutes, I finally walked out, realizing that while they might not value her, I value the money I am spending there! I understand small business, but I was paying the normal rate like everyone else, yet I was treated with a lack of respect because I had the "young" stylist. Just be warned when you make an appointment here to get the owner, not a new person. By the way, their prices aren't any better than other salons so I moved to another salon THAT VALUES EVERY CLIENT and their young stylists. That means something to me. read more

I have been to Paris several times as a friend of mine who recommended me. I have always had a warm and cordial greeting from stylists, very comfortable from first visit and about to make an appointment for major work. I'm very picky and I've always been satisfied here. Remember they can always fix what's wrong and there's only 2 weeks between a bad haircut and a good one. Since Pandemic most businesses have suffered as have most patrons, employees of every kind. We're all trying to figure it out . The person waiting on you wasn't responsible for Pandemic. Be kind. We've all taken blows from this and trying to figure it out. read more

PICTURES DO NOT LIE!!!! If you have thick dark hair RUN!!!! I use to get my hair cuts done by Sue and honestly never had a problem however when I wanted to add some color that's when it all went wrong. I asked for light brown/ash brown biolage and ended up with a thick strip of bleach blonde on the back of my hair. As soon as Sue was done blow drying my hair I already asked her to make another appointment to fix some of the color since it did NOT blend at all in the front. You could see where my dark hair stops and then there was an orange color than straight to bleach blonde. She scheduled me in for that following Thursday however when I got home and my boyfriend noticed something odd with the back of my hair. I asked him to take a picture and could not believe Sue let me leave the salon with my hair looking the way she did. There was a huge thick strip of orange/bleach blonde in the back of my hair. It looked awful. I called the next morning to try and schedule something sooner since I couldn't go to work looking that way and it was impossible to get the owner to call me back. I probably called Robin about 3 times and nothing. Finally someone from the salon told me to come in the Saturday morning. I showed Robin and Sue the damage and they attempted to fix it. Threw on some dark brown all over my hair.... which did not work you could still see the orange and bleach blonde. So now for a SECOND time Sue had to throw dark brown on my hair to get the awful color out. The owners excuse to me was "I have such thick black hair" .... if someone is incompetent to doing dark hair then don't do it. Never would I recommend anyone to this salon. The color was awful and the owners dealt with the situation poorly. read more

They are very helpful with my ever changing hair color/style and up to date on what's in. The salon itself is always kept tidy and fresh! I've been here twice to get my roots colored. Everyone is really nice and super welcoming. I don't recall who did my hair the first time but she did a great job. Last time Sue did my color and also great. The color is perfect, the service great and it's very affordable. I'm pleased to have finally found a salon I don't dread going to. Went there last year several times for haircut. Michael did great job. However, the last haircut I was unhappy with the longer length on my layered cut. I called the salon several days after and left a message about fixing the length and never received a call back. Very unprofessional. I have since taken my business elsewhere. read more

This place is now located on Main Street after moving to a smaller location. Now a little cramped and noisy but reasonably priced. A lot of locals and snowbirds go here. Sometimes tight getting an appointment after working hours. read more

This is at 501 Main Street now. It was recommended to me by a friend and I went to get my hair cut by Mercedes and absolutely loved it. She did a great job correcting what the previous person did that butchered my hair. It is small and quaint but the energy is really good in the place and the prices are reasonable. read more
