Since May, the owner has only made the situation worse, acted with no urgency to correct this and said he was going to start charging me. So I started visiting other artist that specialize in cover-up work in Charlotte and they can not believe the amount of damage that has been done to my arm. Most say ANY quality tattoo artist would know better than to try to cover up anything that big, that dark and that new. I have scarring, uneven color and the issue that needed covering has not been covered. Tomorrow, I will start laser removal! So....to wrap that all up for you....S'Moore Ink took my money, had 2 artist jack my arm up, lied to me about a fix, did not take into factor my feelings, acted with no urgency to correct, lied about no charge, refused to pay for removal and said they will have no further communication with me. But thought, how bad can an earlobe piercing be?! The employees were all nice and quick First He put dots with pen where it will be. 1st time one ear was closer to face, he changed it and then called another girl for her opinion if it looks good. They both said yes. I specifically asked him, Shouldn't it be more further, and he said no. This is my first piercing so I didn't know anything about it, so I trusted the piercer that he would know. Also Owner wrote in Natalies review that Piercer has 20year experience lol BUT 1st-the piercings were not measured so they are different on both ears 2nd the piercing was done at an angle and its too low on the back. 3rd- Piercings should have been done higher and further from face. Next day, I Went to another location to get professional advice and piercer told me she couldn't believe any piercer would do that! She said , He has no idea what he is doing and he is unqualified to pierce at all! Now I have to heal them so the piercing closes and re- do it at another place! Jeff was very knowledgeable and gave good advice. I wanted to make sure he was comfortable doing tribal tattoos, seeing that all the art displayed were "traditional" "pin-up" style. Discussing my vision of traditional filipino tribal tatu, he assured me that he can do it and is actually excited to work on it with me. So what did I get done: I wanted the "Fifth Element's" Earth symbol on my right angle to be very small, he noted that the dots will bleed naturally and recommended a larger size of the overall design. I have a freckle / birthmark above that ankle and the stencil miraculously lined up with it. It was meant to be, he left out coloring the dot on the mark - which makes it more unique. Left ankle were 6-speed gears around ankle bone. Motorcycle reference. Shop: Clean, chill atmosphere, lots of traditional tattoo wall-art, awesome music. Parking on street only. There is a parking-lot, but not sure if that belongs to them too, I was always able to get a spot on the street in front of the shop. Staff: Jeff is awesome and the other staff members that were there were friendly and attentive too. You didn't feel uncomfortable. Was able to get an appointment within a week. They do welcome walk-ins!
