I went to Sophia, the new esthetician at IDOLIZE Steele Creek, to get an anti-aging facial and it did not disappoint!! Sophia was so nice, explained everything really well, the vibes were relaxing, and the facial left with my skin glowing. I literally got a compliment on my skin as I was walking back to my car. Walked in for a quick brow job. Was done an and done well in about 20 minutes. Quiet place with friendly staff.

It was a very lovely location, however my eyebrows look like Stevie Wonder did them. I would never return because the older woman in the middle seat had no clue as to what she was doing. It was a gamble & now I look totally ridiculous! She does need to learn, but not on me. Get a mannequin from Amazon or practice on herself. I have to wait for them to grow in and draw them on until further notice. Just down right hideous, call me Homer Simpson eyebrows from now on. read more

When I moved to Charlotte a few years ago I didn't think I would find a place to thread my brows as good as back home. A friend of my recommended Idolize & of course I was super hesitant... I started out going to the University location and it became my new spot. Loved them! Then we moved & I dreaded the idea of having to drive so far to have my eye brows done. Started going to the S Tryon location and live them just as much, if not more. Friendly workers! Clean space. Pria & Alishiba are both great! I haven't had the chance to try the other ladies out but I'm sure they're equally talented. $12 for brow threading. Love them. read more

I love Idolize. Every time I go, my eyebrows come out fabulously and I never have any complaints on that front. Where idolize loses a star from me is in the wait time. I initially went to get my eyebrows done on Saturday July 31st. For some reason despite the fact that it was a BUSY weekend only one woman was working. At that time, there were over 10 people waiting to be serviced and wait times were well over an hour. To me, this is bad form as the esthetician had no chance for a break and she was put in a bad position considering that clientele we're getting frustrated. I ended up leaving that day and returning on Thursday. While there were fewer people in the Salon Thursday, wait times were still over 30 minutes and similar to Saturday, only one esthetician was working. The wait times make me want to find another location to get my eyebrows done. read more

I normally have an ok experience but after today NEVER AGAIN. I had a lady named Daksha and she was the worst technician ive ever had. 1. As soon as i sat down she started breathing really hard in my face. Now i didnt understand why but i hate to think she had some sort of respiratory disease and was trying to pass it to customers. She breathed really hard directly into my face and it was HORRIBLE. 2. She kept poking me in the eye with her unwashed hands. Also she kept catching the tread on my fingers. 3. I asked her to clean up my eyebrows but keep them thick and she made them uneven and razor thin. Also she started threading around my hairline which made no difference at all and was horrible. The worst part about this experience was her intentionally exhaling in my face. Im gonna call my dr tomorrow to see what my options are but please avoid this technician. WHAT A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! This was my first and last time at this location! I'm leaving to go out of town today for a conference and I left my threading til last minute bad idea. So I decided to go to the location close to home and not my normal location at South Park Mall. I called to see if there was a need for an appointment I was told no and that there were 3 threaders there and no customers. When I arrived it was 4 people waiting and a full house in the seats. I waited for an available seat. I should have known something was up when the other ladies waiting said they were all there for one particular person. Big clue!!! Laila told me she would do my threading but quickly passed me off to Saru. Saru did a terrible job and took a HUGE gash/chunk out of my right eyebrow. It looks like I have one of those squiggle eyebrows. She over threaded and then tried to cover it up. When I was given the mirror and asked her about it she said I came in with the gash/chunk out of my eyebrow. I told her know I didn't and she really tried to convince me that I did and that this whole thing was my fault. This is what made it soooo terrible. How is she going to mess up and then try and blame the customer. That is deplorable!!! Saru then decided to go get help. Laila reappeared and tried to fix the situation. I already don't have a lot of hair and Laila said she would take even more off of each of my eyebrows. I told her that I didn't want anymore taken off. She then tried to fill it in with makeup. This wasn't helping. I will never be back to this location. I felt like Saru offered the worst customer service and shouldn't blame her mistakes on overs. My favorite place to get my eyebrows threaded, hands down the best! I usually visit every two to three weeks, but I haven't requested a specific person yet. So far, I've had my eyebrows threaded by 2 to 3 different people consistently, and I'm satisfied each time. There's usually no waiting time when I arrive, and I'm usually done in about 15 minutes. Love this place ! I highly recommend KEAIRA's service she's just amazing she did my lashes. One that that you should know if you already have lash extensions they will have to take all that off then they can do a new one coz their's is premade ones. Came in on a Monday and was able to redeem my Monday yelp check in special for 25% off with no problem. When you get there they have you sign in on an iPad with your name, email, requested service etc and then you wait your turn. Laila did my brows and her customer service is on point. Her threading is as well. This isn't my first brow threading but she ensured we were on the same page for shape, talked me through it and most importantly it wasn't painful at all. The whole process took 10-12 min tops and I was satisfied with the outcome. I had no idea this brow place was even here but it's going to be my new go to spot. read more

I saw all the great reviews and it was time for my eyebrows to be done. The parking is very easy and the staff is welcoming with an adorable layout inside. The cons- I am not happy with my eyebrows, it was like she just cleaned up the bottom and in between- the top did not exist. It was also more painful than usual as she went slower with the threads, probably to try to be more accurate. Also they used the same chair for every person and no wipe downs in between. I don't understand the point of wasting time signing in and touching a device that everyone touches, which they don't clean off after each use, if all they're going to do is ask "who's next". Glory be to the eyebrow Gods, I think I have found my new go-to brow bar. This is the 2nd Idolize Brow bar I go to, and this location & staff exceeded my expectations. I did a walk-in & was taken care of immediately. The lady who took care of me asked me what I wanted, was gentle and friendly. I was in & out in less than 15 minutes, and with very nicely done brows. She offered some insight about my brows/growth.She did a good job too. The actual venue was clean and pretty. This is probably the 3rd time I've been to Idolize to have my eyebrows threaded. Every time I've gone the service has been great. The technicians are very nice and accommodating and the facility is very clean. I've never had to wait an extended period of time, in fact, I usually am in and out in 15-20 min tops! I was desperate to get my eyebrows and lip threaded due to quarantine and I'm glad I took a chance at Idolize! I went on 8/26/2020 and it was very clean inside. Everyone was wearing a mask (customers + employees) and had the little stickers on the floor for social distancing. I felt very comfortable. Laila (I hope I spelled that right - if not please correct me lol!) did an amazing job. She was so kind and explained the whole process to me. First time visitor and first time getting threaded as well. I was super nervous and had to pep talk myself into getting out of the car (lol). Walked in and the salon was very clean and pretty. The girl at the front welcomed me with a smile. I sat in the waiting room and it looked like there were about 3 people before me. I know how it is when I go to a nail salon to get my eyebrows waxed so I was assuming it was going to be a long wait and I should RUN! But actually I waited at max 7 minutes! I told Laila it was my first time. She took the time to ask me how I would like my eyebrows to look, what shape, etc. I really appreciated the fact that she asked that. My eyebrows has lost the shape I liked over the past couple of years. Threading didn't hurt nearly as bad as I thought it would. She talked to me the whole time so that took my mind off of it. Stinged a little but way less painful than waxing. Laila explained to me that in order to get the shape I wanted, it'll take a few weeks. The whole process took about 20 minutes and I'm so excited! I've been going to IDOLIZE for a few years now. I started off with threading and have been waxing for a year now. I must say they have excellent services and the wait times are short. I get my brows and underarms waxed by Amy and she's excellent! I was a little skeptical because I don't trust new people with my brows, lol. However, the first time she said trust me, I did and she hasn't let me down. She actually recommended rubbing my brows vigorously with castor oil to make them fuller and its working! I also have a shadow area in one of my brows where the tail end wouldn't grow and its returning slowly with her care. I would definitely recommend Amy for any skeptics and those who have problem brows. She will get them tamed and looking perfect! read more
