I have shopped at Arsenal Wine and Liquor for over a decade. Within the last year, I have run into…read moreproblems with deliveries and employees. It isn't bad enough that their deliveries are always a problem but their employees are very unhelpful. If I didn't want one particular spirit that only they sell, I would not shop there. Let me give you the rundown. Everytime I order a delivery, something is always wrong. At -10 degrees, I don't want to go out to shop in store or do a pickup. So, I ordered a delivery. When it was half an hour after it was scheduled to be delivered and still had not shown up, I called. The employee who answered the phone told me that it was ready for pickup. I told him that I had paid for delivery. We went back and forth for a while before he decided to check with another employee. He was told that it was a delivery order. Then, he told me that no one was available to deliver it at that time. By the time I received the order, it was over an hour late. Good thing it was nothing that I needed right away. Prior to this, I had tried to use the free delivery offer that I received in my email. When I started to checkout, it showed that I had to pay for delivery. I called the store to ask about this issue. The employee I spoke with told me that they could not do anything about the delivery charge because it was offered through a different company. That was it. Tough luck. We lied. We don't care. We just collect the money. At this point, I want to reach out to tell others how bad the service at Arsenal Wine and Liquor is. Personally, I will start looking for other stores that might have a different spirit that I don't mind even if I can't buy the one that I really want. So, good luck with deliveries from Arsenal Wine & Liquor. Good luck finding any helpful employees. Don't expect much because you will not get much. Yes, I will be writing reviews about City Hive, the delivery company, at Trustpilot and Sitejabber.

We love working with others and up until about two years ago it was always our plan to someday open a wedding venue. Unfortunately for us, and the rest of the world, Covid-19 changed our plans. The business’s we own were some of the most effected by Covid restrictions and that forced us to change our outlook and lead us to where we are today. They have most of the craft beers I seek out, such a Resurgence from Buffalo, Brooklyn Brewery, Bells, Thin Man, etc. Their cider selection is good too- 1911 everything, Citizen's, Black Bird, Nine Pin, and Woodchuck varieties to name a few. The Beer Depot had more non-alcoholic beers than I expected. There's a whole wall of cold beers in the back room too. They also carry the regular macro breweries in larger cases. One note- Syracuse Beer Depot does not do growler fills, so everything is cans or bottles. Still I'm happy to have such a wide option of beer selections closer to home now! Parking- the lot is bigger than it appears. If you're coming from Thompson Road direction take the light on Thompson and a right onto Headson Dr. I need to go back and scope out the bike parking- I don't remember seeing a rack but they are right off the Empire State Trail.

No problem up until the last three orders. We always buy a case of Canadian Club to which a rebate of $48.00 is available. they have always had these rebates until the last three times. We always requested the rebates for the items we bought, plus separate receipts for each one. According to the guy who brought out the order to my husband you'd think we asked for the world. He chastised my husband and told him that I've told you before we don't have rebates, get them somewhere else. What the hell has changed!!! So no rebates, no extra receipts and a jerk of a guy who brought them out to the vehicle. I'm not sure we will ever do business with them again. If this is the way they treat senior citizens it really sucks!!!
