Good selection, nice customer service. Far better than the other liquor stores around here.

The restaurant on the corner of Bridge and West First Streets in the center of Oswego is probably not something you'd expect to find in the area, somewhere that adds an entirely different dimension to dining in the city - a showcase of cuisine inspired by the American south. We recently tried out Southern Fare with some friends and we were all extremely impressed with the restaurant. My wife and I got there a bit earlier than our friends, so we sat at the bar for a bit. As someone who doesn't drink, I'm always excited to see mocktails on the menu. My wife got a cocktail, I got a mocktail, we both loved the drinks and the bartender was extremely nice and personable. We made a reservation for 6PM on a Saturday, although it seemed we probably didn't need one this day, so when our friends showed up, we were sat right away. Our friends ordered cocktails, while we ordered another round for ourselves, and again, loved everything we got. We ordered some friend green tomatoes for an appetizer, which were a little bland, but the sauce was good and made up for it. We all ordered a different main dish and everyone was very happy with their food. I ordered a pork chop special - I love pork chops, but don't eat them often, as my wife isn't a fan, and pork chops can be difficult to cook properly. The dish was a lemon marinated pork chop, grilled, topped with a strawberry compote, crispy fried potatoes and roasted broccoli. The pork chop was huge, cooked perfectly, juicy, bursting with flavor. The broccoli and potatoes were also delicious and needed nothing added to them. It's probably one of the best meals I've had in CNY, period. It was a little bit higher priced, but it's what we expected, and the food was absolutely worth it. We will absolutely be back again.

The fried chicken, same.. we got it plain to try it the first time naked, but I would definitely sauce it next time. Also ordered but not pictured was the double smash burger, Mac and cheese and chicken sandwich but my boys devoured them before I could take a picture.

Fresh ingredients, delightful flavors, a curated menu and freshly made deserts! We have frequented this restaurant each time we are in town and truly. It never disappoints. From the appetizers to the main courses to the cocktails- Red Sun delivers. On our most recent outing I had the Pig and Swig pizza- fire roasted with pork sausage, broccoli, red onions, red pepper and mozzarella this was absolutely delicious! We shared the fire roasted wings too which were amazing! I had a cocktail- which sadly I cannot remember the name of but I do know that it has my favorite gin- Empress. Red Sun is one of the very few restaurants in Oswego to carry this delightful brand- and it makes me super happy! Laurie the owner, has been in business for quite a while in Oswego and also owns the delightful Port City Cafe right next door as well as the new and exciting Lorbird in Fulton- another amazing experience. We were so fortunate to meet and spend time chatting with her and let me say- this lady knows her stuff. Most inspiring is that she knows her customers and their tastes and she knows how to be successful! Red Sun is an absolute must when visiting Oswego- you won't be disappointed! It's an elevated experience that I truly hope will inspire other establishments to rise to!

The inside was cozy and decent amount of seating. I saw a few people playing card/board games, it seems like a great place to come and wind down. I'm not a huge beer drinker but wanted to try what they offered here. I opted for the flight and you can select from beer and cider(4/$12). They were great, I opted for two of theirs they brew and two guests brewery they showcase. I enjoyed all, I tend to lean towards fruit base beers lol. The price and size of samples were plenty for me. They don't have a kitchen but we came when Cousin's Maine Lobster truck was there. My husband ordered some Shrimp Tacos and Tots. It looks like they have food trucks available when possible. Overall we'll definitely come back and recommend it friends.

This is the most bizarre experience ever. On or around March 9 in the early evening my wife and I go into Liquor City just to buy a bottle of rum; Cashier starts to ring it up, I swipe my credit card, screen says Approved, then the cashier tells me the register computer "froze" and I need to go to a different register :/ but a nice young Lady comes and advises to come her register, and she rings me up. Right after I swipe my credit card and it gets Approved again, the first cashier comes over and says stop, you have to scan this void receipt first or it will mess up the system, so then she voids my order, scans the void receipt then her computer freezes W T H Then the first cashier tells her something like she should have known better, and walks away to get the manager or something- at this point I felt like enough was enough, keep your rum and make sure I dont get charged. I'm intentually leaving out details because its not my job to audit their staff or procedures (so dont tell me to "get my facts straight" because I'm not going for perfect accuracy just telling what happened to me a couple weeks ago when I had the chance to do it i.e. do not ask me their names) I'm giving 2 stars because previous experiences were good, so you all have at least a 1 in 10 chance - however they certainly won't see me again

Main Street was my Grandfathers home- Seitz family - this is now part of the Catholic Church) before my Grandfather became a Marine and ended up in Quantico , VA. Lock 1 was a perfect location to pop on in, right by the bridge, to grab a drink and snacks. The appetizers were delicious - we ordered the pretzel, loaded salt potatoes, and tacos. All were impressively good and so filling! We had a great server, very attentive, young guy, sadly I can't recall his name but he was wonderful! We also bought two bottles of Ryze Vodka to bring back home in memory of the location (Phoenix) that started a love affair of two young adults and ultimately created a storybook of family memories from New York to Virginia! Thanks, Lock 1, for being part of my adventure! I hope to return soon.

Once inside, the distillery is to the right, and the bar and dining area is to the left. You seat yourself, then a server will come to your table. We told the girl that we were in a bit of a hurry, and she and her bartender did everything they could to get us our order and make sure we didn't miss any of the concert. There's two huge chalkboards behind the bar, full of specialty drinks they offer. Their food menu is a pretty short list, but everything we ordered was great. I had a cheeseburger, my wife had fish tacos, and our daughter had the chicken sandwich. The two sandwiches came with fries (which were a wee bit on the salty side, but good). We all enjoyed our food, and it was reasonably priced. We will definitely go back there. The concert venue across the driveway was spacious, and had great acoustics. They also have a mini bar inside the venue, but the line moves VERY slowly.
