Super racist manager. Needed couple bottles of whiskey for Diwali event , they had whisky on special, the manager racially profiled me, without having any limit sign manager old me I can only buy one bottle. Upon being corrected that there is no limit sign manager went on to its our store we pick and choose. Definitely reporting this incident to liquor authority board. read more

This place rules so hard I don't know how to describe it. Grabbing a few bottles for my friend's wedding, I decided to stop in with another buddy. Once I saw the selection on the shelf, I grabbed all of the bottles of EH Taylor that was lying around. There was plenty of Buffalo Trace and Eagle Rare so this shop rocks for grabbing your favorite bourbons. 10/10 would go again anytime read more

Maximum is part of our traditional routine stop when we come up from NYC to visit family. We always look forward to the great prices and friendly staff. But this visit was a real let down and quite frankly concerning. For the first time they asked me and my husband for our ID's. I had mine, my husband did not. They refused to sell me the wine. To be clear, my husband looks young, but neither one of us look under 21. Disclosing our ages is irrelevant because I was actually the one buying the 2 bottles of wine...and I had my ID with me. By the way, we were in the day before and my husband paid for the wine without being asked his ID. When the manager came over, he responded with... "it seems pretty cut and dry to me". He seemed unconcerned in evaluating the situation and to provide the best customer service one deserves, he was simply dismissive and uninterested. They went on to say it was their policy and they had to input the license detail. That's an interesting argument , because never once have myself or my husband, ever been ID'd in the past. They were so matter of fact and unreasonable that it was almost embarrassing. As a grown adult with his adult husband, we were treated like juveniles that were trying to get away with something... but what was I trying to get away with with 2 bottles of Chardonnay? If neither of us had our ID.. ok If my husband was clearly trying to pay.. ok If they actually asked US BOTH for ID any other time in the past..ok fair If we actually seemed like we were up to no good... fair Every business has a right to turn a customer away... but I ask a couple questions... why are they really turning them away? Would it have been the same if I was with a girl that maybe appeared to be my wife? If I was with my 64 year old father.. would he have been ID'd too? At one point, we suggested having my father (who was waiting in the car) come in to purchase the wine, we were told that they can't sell them to him (who had his ID). What happened today just didn't make a lot of logical sense, even from a policy perspective, but even more for common sense and respectfulness. We can't help wonder if this is truly a policy or a selective discrimination? I usually buy cases of wine from here.. but now I won't even be stopping here on my journeys home. We left sad, frustrated and angry, and frankly steering clear away from this establishment. read more

Prices are good. Staff is friendly. We have continued to shop here because of these two reasons. However, my boyfriend's battery died in the parking lot and one of the employees had a battery charger. It started up after a charge and my boyfriend said, "Thank you, I'll buy you a beer!" The staff member said, "How about a bottle of wine or a bottle of whiskey instead?" as he led him inside and picked out an $18 bottle of wine. The staff member said to the cashier, "Give him my discount, it's for me." A beer is one thing (maybe the equivalent to a tiny shot bottle of whiskey at the check out) but picking out your own reward for helping a customer that just shopped in your store?? What happened to going above and beyond to make the day of someone down on his luck, needing to buy a new battery? I feel bad because my boyfriend is ALWAYS the one stopping to help people on the side of the road or broken down in the middle of the street and he would NEVER accept a gift for doing a good deed. read more

Pascale's Wine and Spirits is located in Cicero, NY and a great area place to pick up wine or spirits. The staff is very friendly, greets you and is happy to show you the specials around the store. There is a nice comprehensive racked wine section with a good selection of varietals from every region. A refrigerated case had some chilled wines ready to go. I was happy to find a nice selection of locally produced NY wines, which the staff could talk about. Both major and secondary labels from the Finger Lakes region. If you are a fan of whites, give them a try. Nice prices on the various spirits, each section was clearly marked. Came across some very good sale prices. read more
