We couldn't have made a better choice. As a family, we witnessed firsthand the immense benefits of Montessori education, and especially attending the MHFC. The teachers are highly qualified, and the entire staff is caring and welcoming. The Montessori experience instilled in our daughter a profound appreciation for the value of education. The learning habits she formed at MHFC made her successful and middle school and now in high school. Beyond academics, she gained exposure to different cultures, learned to respect and accept diverse opinions, and build friendships that will last a lifetime. Even after leaving MHFC, our daughter continued to stay connected. During school vacations, she returned to visit and help which classroom chores. Now in high school, she volunteers at MHFC, an opportunity the school gladly offered. This encouragement for alumni involvement reflects on the school's deep care for its students, long after they graduate. MHFC has had a tremendous impact on our lives, and we will be forever grateful to all the teachers and staff who make the school such a special place.

The guy under me named H.A. is lying because there is no camera for you to check. My son loves MOLO and learned so much. He is more independent now compare to at home. We had a bday party with his classmates and they had a blast. Ms.Lemia loves and cares genuinely for the children, the recent lesson they had was the full life cycle of monarch butterfly and he brought home a book about caterpillar and a stuffed caterpillar the other day. He learned how to eat, go to potty, build legos, make friends, follow directions. We truly appreciate what MOLO has done for him. We would not have it any other way.

At his 3rd day of attedance she put infront of him styrofoam balls to do an activity, and she just left him alone with the balls , then he swallowed one. She sent me a report stating that she was present with him and turned her back for only a few seconds to answer another student when he did so. BUT when i checked the cameras, I figured out that my son was left alone and she was not even there with him . And instead of showing some empathy and apologizing she just keeps looking for excuses and blaming my kid about it. She is the worst! We're so thankful we found the school when we had a real need and our daughter was welcomed in. The Upper El teachers are incredibly kind, patient, and truly get to know each child as an individual. There's a nice balance between structure and freedom, allowing students to explore and learn at their own pace. The teachers gently guiding them with respect and encouragement. When we had opportunity the observe the classroom we always saw students focused and enjoying their lessons. We also appreciated the sense of community the school offered--it feels like a second home. There are lots of special gatherings and fun events. It's clear that the teachers and administration genuinely love what they do. Our daughter felt safe and comfortable at Westside, she gained not only academic skills but grew in confidence, responsibility, and leadership. We highly recommend Westside Montessori School!

They deleted all the recordings and swept it under the rug to make the incident untraceable. On a second occasion they sent my child with black eyes and pretended it was accident and refused to share the details of what happened. Our child told who did this, but we accepted the school BS because we thought they are ethical and there's no way for lack of dishonesty. The breaking point happened when they sent an email asking us to not bring our child to the daycare anymore because of shoving another child. I called them to ask why did our child shove another child? They said well, that child attacked first and took an item from your child, but your child didn't respond properly by asking the teacher for help and just shoved that child and retrieved the item by force. This is definitely not a place for people of color. They are full of racist BS and only good at collecting money without any accountability. They will call you to come and take your child if they hear any sneeze, or see a glimpse of a bored child, or not taking a nap...etc. of endless BS of just picking up on certain ones. By the way, most of their reviews on google are fake. Stacey and her staff were reporting this same review to google for removal and wrote 3 other fake reviews of 5 stars as a replacement in less than one day to keep themselves highly rated place. Many childcare facilities were not accepting new children or were booked during this time, which limited our options. As a mother new to the area, I was very stressed about having a new home, a new baby, home construction, and the need for a new childcare facility. To say I was overwhelmed was an understatement. My husband and I selected a place and quickly realized there were challenges with management, turnover, and the general care of our children, and we knew we needed a change. Our kids were not being cared for. When we learned about Five Star through a neighbor and took a tour of the facility, we were convinced it was the place for us. Stacey Lowry, the Director of Five Star, made us feel at home, and we could tell she generally cares about our kids and wants them to succeed. I was hooked! Since then, we have experienced several teachers who have loved and nurtured our kiddos as they have moved from room to room. We are grateful for the connections with the teachers, families, and kids we have made along the way. And I don't have "mom guilt" since I know my kids are happy to go to school each and every day. I couldn't have asked for more - - even if I created the checklist myself!

Every school has issues. A lot of issues tend to stem from lack of funds. This school is not backed by a church or other sponsoring institutions, it has to fundraise to remain afloat. My kids love their school and they thrive there. The students who graduate from Imani can stand next to any other student at any other school and hold their own. The last months of this school year, the Imani teachers worked extremely hard to give the students the same academic rigor they experienced in the classroom, all while being watched by anyone who had access to the live classrooms. The teachers still excelled in academics virtually and didn't fall short with discipline either because my kids tried them and were quickly checked (I welcome that)! This school is absolutely a family, and when you have problems within a family you work it out with family, and not expose their flaws to a world of judgers (who already hate us). A teacher working with young children should show patience, encouragement, and care, but Ms. Lifsey consistently failed to do so. It also seems these concerns are known by the administration, yet little has been done to address them. While many other teachers at The Branch School have been caring and supportive, this review is specifically about Ms. Lifsey and the administration's handling of these concerns. I would encourage parents considering first or second grade placement here to ask careful questions before enrolling their child.
