I scheduled a tour that was confirmed by someone, I presume at their corporate location. I then called the location with a question- only to be told all tours were cancelled. Was also told one of the management teams would call me. Maybe 30 minutes later I received another confirmation text. I phoned the person (not in their central location) to tell them that location was not accepting any more parents. Received information (i.e., tuition, communication apps) and was told I would be taken off the list to be text? No one has reached out to me. If this school is this uncommunicative and disorganized in the face of emergency. I completely understand protecting the littles but don't like the way I was handled. I'm already emotional enough about leaving my babe. I'm almost 100% positive I can't trust them with my baby.

Fast forward to 2021.. My son is now 4 and due to the pandemic, we opted to keep him home with us for most of 2020. We finally decided it was time for our little boy to return to what we remembered was our safe place, our son's home away from home.. We knew it was going to be challenging for him to adjust to the all the new faces and to building a new relationship with his new teacher and head director in the preschool building.. At first, we felt very good about them working with him to get back in to the routine but after about a week, we were advised that our son had started using bad language after an "explosion" of bad language had occurred in the classroom of 4-5 year olds (my son being the youngest).. We had thought things were improving until we got another call that our child was using VERY BAD language.. And to our surprise, his teacher had actually taken the time to record him on two different days using said language - words and phases that are not used in our home and that had clearly been picked up in their class as confirmed by the director. My question is, why was she continually recording him and not redirecting him? it was almost as if she was creating a show or needed to prove how "bad" my son was.. So that's only one issue we had.. For weeks, our son would tell us about another child that continually would kick and punch him daily. One day, he actually came home with a HUGE knot on his forehead. No phone call, no report. I let it go.. When we would address our concerns about the other child hitting and kicking our son, we were told the little boy was "special" and didn't like to play with other children and so when our son would try to engage him in playtime, the other child would lash out. We then realized our son needed to be taught about boundaries and had constant pep talks with him before leaving him at school.. Then one day, I decided to check in on my child through Watch Me Grow - a video platform that allows you to view your child's classroom - THANK GOODNESS. Because if I had not witnessed what happened, my son might have continued to get bullied and treated unfairly without regard.. While his teacher was having circle time, my son was nowhere to be found.. Ahh but then I noticed the single stall bathroom door was open with anther child standing in front of it and threw a large object inside the restroom.. Out comes the child that had been harrassing my child, skipping happily out and my son following behind, holding his head.. What I witnessed next was his teacher pulling my son aside, ignoring the other child who threw the object.. and when i called and spoke with the director, she had withdrawn my child from the classroom so I could let my son know what i was watching him and knew he was not participating in class.. My concern wasn't why he wasn't participating in circle time but why were there multiple children in the restroom and why did the other child get away with throwing a large object at my son..? Out of control. Obviously, the teacher needed help as she couldn't get a handle on her classroom. My son was hurt and neglected all the while, the director of the preschool building was trying to tell me he was fine. So when I showed up within 30 minutes, my son was not outside with the other children, but kept inside for whatever reason... I could tell he had been crying.. AND he had a hematoma on his forehead. No incident report. Needless to say, we have permanently withdrawn our child from The Children's Courtyard on Longenbaugh. We are hurt and disappointed in how son was treated.. but we will persevere by continuing to love and help our son grow in a more positive environment.

They told my bank a form was agreed upon which is the reason for the charge. They are thieves. I wanted my children to attend but now they're it's no way! I will never leave my children in the hands of a company that see nothing wrong with charging a fee that was never given permission to charge. No one in this economy has 230.00 to waste especially, a parent of twins! From our tour to our first drop off/pick up the staff here has been very kind, informative, and welcoming. We met everyone from the teachers to cooks to the front desk staff, and everyone was great! The entire facility was very neat and clean. They made the enrollment process very easy and even had modern applications for sign ins/sign outs, payments, and viewing your child's activity throughout the day (diaper changes, meal times, nap times, photos, etc.). This was a big sell for me! I love being able to stay involved in my daughter's day while away in my own. Also, I loved the vegetarian alternatives in their daily menu. We're very excited to have found this place for her early learning development!

There was no structure, consistency, definitely no "learning" food is trash and cooked in the microwave. They don't care to make changes, unprofessional, calls their employees expletives, and expects you to be "professional, no gossiping" but it doesn't apply to them. They don't value good teachers/employees and this has been an on going cycle since they first opened. The kids best interest aren't put first and they talk bad about parents behind their back. PROs: -You have access to the classroom camera anytime. Not that you can really see anything clearly or within view of the camera lens. - Diapers, wipes and meals/snacks are included in tuition cost. If you're okay with diaper rash from the cheap quality of diapers and wipes and a menu that is open to interpretation and likely to cause your child constipation. Changes to menu are made throughout the day without notice and meals are repetitive throughout the week. -They abide by a good "teacher" to child ratio (1 to 4-6), but that doesn't guarantee the quality of the "teacher" providing "supervision". My l.o. had 3 head injuries in less than 2 weeks which resulted in bleeding, bumps and bruises. We were notified way after the fact and the "teacher" couldn't tell us exactly what happened in two incidents. In the 3rd instance she had a different story from the manager all together. CONs: -This particular facility does NOT abide by their own Health and Safety plan. They do NOT conduct wellness checks throughout the day and parents of unwell children will not be contacted for immediate pick-up if they were. My 15 m.o. can attest to their lack of regular cleaning/sanitizing by suffering through hand-foot & mouth disease among various other illnesses. He's always the first and/or only person in the house to get sick. He's up-to-date on his shots and he doesn't socialize with other people outside of daycare. -Your rate will fluctuate as they see fit. Within 3 months of starting services they increased the prices AND they still have the audacity to ask the parents to provide for party supplies which is mostly food items for the day (they're supposed to be included in the tuition cost). -Be prepared to have more than a few of your child's clothing items lost. -You won't be provided an actual curriculum. According to the pictures we receive, "activities" seem few and far between. -They rely heavily on containers to make up for the lack of staffing or supervision. I'm not sure if it's a lack of experience or staffing, but the negligence of the management staff to provide support in areas of piss poor performance proves their overall incompetence.

His teachers were amazing, patient and learned how he individually learned. They are a true Montessori school and not a glorified daycare. He always wants to go school everything. He always says good things about his teachers. They also have a new staff member that started not too long ago . I can't remember her name but she is also amazing. I've watched her interact with my son and I can tell she enjoys what she is doing. I enrolled my 3 month old daughter a few weeks ago. Ms. Shahllja Raza is the person who watches her majority of the time. I feel so comfortable with leaving my Daugther in her care. She is so sweet, caring and attentive. They have more than 10 students and they're not separated by age group after 2:30pm and only 1 teacher is in charge, my son got pushed, punched and kicked for a good 3 minutes from 1 kid to another and the teacher had her back turned and walked around while my son was getting hurt, it's heart breaking to watched it in the camera I had to call the school to tell them to go in there to stop them from hurting him, and for him to come back on the phone to tell me that they're just playing. At this point, I cannot go back to work, I knew I had to go get my son, my poor son just busted out crying as soon as he saw me.
