I tried to remediate this and get a refund from the parking attendant, ParkWhiz email customer support and American Express with no success. In order to prevent this from happening again, I had to delete my credit card information in the app so the app wouldn't automatically bill my card upon entering and leaving the garage in the future. What a scam!

Logan Square is one of many block sized sitting parks in Philly but this one is distinct because of the busy traffic circle that surrounds it and the iconic fountain in the center. The fountain in the center (when turned on) is absolutely gorgeous. Large mermaid and fish looking people surround the fountain with smaller frogs and turtles also shooting water out in a nice display. There are several signs saying no swimming but those Philly rebels ignore those signs and consider them suggestions. There is also a statue of Shakespeare in the square and WWI sculpture as well. It's a nice place to take a break from all the culture from the museums nearby. Definitely worth a stop in the area. So take off your shoes and be like a rebellious local and put your feet in

One side of the kiosk was inoperable, the other kiosk machine did not take cash and would not allow me to make payment. I press the button for help and spoke with a customer service rep who informed me that I can check out at the gate and pay cash with the office. When I got downstairs to the gate, there was a gentleman standing at the gate. I explained to him what happened upstairs at the kiosk he said I would need to speak with the manager for me to park and go inside and speak with the manager. I explained to him that my feet was killing me. They were swollen and that I would be painful. He said no problem. I will get the manager to come out to you. I sat there. The manager did not come instead. I press the help button after about 3 to 5 minutes at which time I spoke to someone who said they were gonna call into the office and when she came back to speak with me, the lady who had answered on the help button, she stated that the manager said I need to go walk to a store and get a prepaid card so that I can check out of the Garage. I explained to her that that will be impossible for me to do as well because my feet and ankles were extremely swollen. I was not gonna walk to a store, and I was given this information by one of your customer service reps at the kiosk in the hallway and that was unfair to me to have to sit there with cash in my hand, attempting to get out and still could not . While I was speaking to the customer service representative, a woman in a white car pulls up and she said that her name was Fatima to the lay on the help button told the person on the kiosk to hang up that she will handle it. She she stated to me, she didn't know who the man was that had answered up in the lobby when I pressed the help button, but I need to use a card or I can't get out. I explain to her that he told me to come downstairs that I will be able to pay cash she stated that there was a sign when you enter the garage that says this is a cash, only garage assign in which I did not see upstairs on the kiosk, there are slots for cash, which gives the frozen impression that the machine takes cash. When I spoke with the customer service rep. He stated that I can pay cash downstairs since the machine the only operable machine was not taken my cash this inconvenience and misinformation cost me about 30 minutes of my life sitting there going from upstairs attempting to use the machine to downstairs walking to get my car going to the gate and then being told that I cannot get out so I sat there until I figured it out, I had an emergency card which I never use so I was able to use that to get out. To add insult to injury, the app was not working this morning, so I had to get a ticket and upon paying for the ticket it charged me $26 instead of the normal $19 that he charges me every day. This has been an utter inconvenience.

It is a fairly clean parking lot, there is the odd paper / trash here and there, but nothing major. It is an unstaffed parking garage!!!!! They recommend using the app, an boy oh boy is it hard to use... my wife wants to kill me every year hahaha!!! Luckily we live 2 hours away and it gives her plenty of time to learn it over and over again! All in all we park here because of the location and the discount we get from the app... So if you are doing anything here or within a block or 2 its worth it.

Totally worth it since our hotel wanted to charge $70 plus taxes (=$80) for parking. $35 or $80? You pick! :) We parked for 23 hours to stay under the 24 hour rate, so just make sure you leave before that mark. Hotel staff also told us the 10th floor has a great view for pictures! As for the structure itself, it's a bit dark and oddly laid out, but doable. We fit two cars in with no issues. The way up is weirdly curved, and exiting requires heading to the higher floors first since not every floor has a shortcut down. We ended up going all the way up then all the way down to get out, so budget some extra time for that.

Getting in was not difficult as there were spots, but getting out sure was hard. I don't recall ever running into another parking lot where one had to go to the very top of the lot before one could begin their descent, but that was the case here. I was parked on level 3 and I had to go up 7 levels until I got to the very top of the lot and then start my descent. It was late at night after a long day and I literally thought I must be losing my mind, but there we were. If that were not enough, I will also note that the exit ramps are so narrow that even as I was driving very carefully, my car (a Nissan Pathfinder) made contact with the structure. Fortunately, at that bend there were some soft cushions which prevented the car from getting dinged, but nonetheless, I was not happy to have any contact and was very irritated seeing how incredibly narrow the ramp was. If you have a car larger than mine, good luck getting out without a scrape. Lastly, prices. I stayed there for about 9 hours (from 2:00 to 11:00 p.m.) and the price was $35. Where are we, New York City? I didn't think so. In short, I hated this parking lot because it had a very weird way of getting out, had exit ramps that were incredibly narrow, and lastly, was pricey.

What drew me in was the $15 flat rate if you got there after 5 PM and left before 3 AM, which is totally a good deal if you're going to be in the city for at least four hours. PLUS, if you bring your performance stub back with you, you get a $4 discount (they do keep the stub, so if you're the kind of person that likes to save their ticket stubs for memories, beware). What I liked most about this is that I paid $11 to park in a very central location in the city for about five hours. That's similar to what I would pay at a PPA kiosk, except that I didn't have to refill the meter and my car was off the street.
