It's a pretty serviceable lot next to Drexel medicine - lots tiny but the rates are serviceable. The parking a little compact, as you zigzag up and down the structure in one lane traffic but it's decent enough. Weird edge case that wasn't in my favor - came in on a Saturday looking for parking, but for some event or something the lot was already full. Pretty much every lot I've ever been to lets you leave for free if you leave in under 15 minutes - which you'd expect since you couldn't park! Lo and behold not even 10 minutes in trying to leave I get charged the full $10 weekend rate. It's not a problem that affects many people but left a bad taste in my mouth and not consumer friendly. The ticket booths looked on the older side, but definitely something they could address in the future. read more

Seven dollars to park on Friday night? As long as your in after 5:00 PM. Self park and self-pay also? Check. This was a crazy good deal. I have seen this place a few times off of 15th on Spring Street but I have never parked there. I was visiting a friend tonight at Magee rehab and gave it a shot. It is easy to park, well lit and very close to many places in Center City including Chinatown and Logan Circle. Definitely worth a short walk for bargain parking hunters like myself. I have used this lot several times now. It is about a 10 minute walk to the Reading Terminal Market and the Convention Center. Another 5 minutes walking put you in the heart of Chinatown. One of my favorite parking lots in the city - especially in the evenings and on the weekends! It's a steal! It may be a 10-15 minute walk from where you're going but it's so worth it since traffic among the main streets are brutal and parking is even worse. This lot is located right across from Hahnemann Hospital (RIP) and off the Broad St & Vine St. exit. It's only a few blocks from City Hall and Rittenhouse. Reasonable prices for parking, especially on the weekends. Located right off 676, making it easy to get in and out. The parking lot is located slightly north of city hall, but a 10-15 min walk isnt too bad, especially considering how much cheaper this parking lot is. You might think it difficult to properly evaluate a parking facility, but when you experience this particular one you might feel differently.* What drew me to this structure among all the other ones visually begging for me to drive in to be financially gouged was the fact that along the outside edge of the outdoor parking (which is a part of this facility), there was a big sign that touted $5 for a whole day.** As I wound up the maze, the actual in and out aspect is quite smart in this garage. You are almost always going one way so the chance or ramming into someone is slim. Even in hopes of my $5 day-long park, I saw on the way in that it would be $13. Of course, when I paid at the auto-teller,*** it was $15. You must pay prior to getting back into your car and if you don't realize this you are the most oblivious person in the world. This is because it is posted in every nook and cranny, elevator shaft, hallway, blimp, etc. that is attached to this facility. Judging from all the other "Come here, we're the cheapest" parking structures or tiny lots around, I expect this one comes in around average while still being completely annoying in every way. ________________ * Fine, maybe you won't because you like to pay exorbitant amounts to park your vehicle in an unsecured facility. ** I never determined where this was available, but I assume there was fine print that indicated that this was only available every third leap year when Santa Claus himself was parked, with his sleigh, in this particular facility. *** When you have an auto-teller cashier and two people sitting behind a desk chatting, it seems to be a waste of the vast resources they have from pulling the $5 hoax on everyone all the time. read more

It's GREAT to park here on a weekend for $7 for the whole weekend. Much cheaper than parking in center city. It's maybe a quarter mile walk to center city but you could save $13-23 parking here instead. Figuring out how to pay took a minute because the attendant was in his little office not caring about anything. You pay before you leave so be sure to keep the ticket you get when you go into the parking garage. You'll need it later because if you lose it they'll charge you $22. read more

Be careful while entering the parking! I just scratched one mag wheel on my brand new car while turning after passing the entrance gate. It's a dark place and there's a nasty curb that continues after the left gate on the driver's side. Parking there just cost me more than 18$. read more

It's not $5 per day on the weekend anymore, but $7 per day on the weekend is still the cheapest in Center City. I have left my car here overnight here many times and never had any problems.The $5 evening rate is unchanged. This lot is much better than other places despite costing less. You can easily walk a few extra blocks to save money. However, this garage is not a bargain during 9 to 5 weekdays. Also, don't lose your ticket! read more

This is probably the cheapest parking lot you will find in Center City. I'm not sure I would recommend it during the weekday, but it's great on the weekend because it's $5 all day. You really can't beat this price. Depending on what you plan to do in Center City, it can be a bit of a hike, but if you don't mind walking, park here. I usually use this parking lot when I attend an event at the Franklin Institute on a Saturday or if I'm clubbin' at a spot in Center City. At 2am, after you've had a few drinks, walking to 15th and Vine from say, 17th and Walnut, is not cool, but it's cheap and I don't have to worry about the Philly Parking Authority or possibly being on Parking Wars (does that show still air?). read more

I Park in this lot almost every weekend. It's great if you're staying at the Sheraton across the street. It's the cheapest in center city. It's clean and does the trick. I feel safe in the lot and it's usually never hard to find a spot. A great lot to park at for center city sips and it's easy to jump on the Ben Franklin from here as well. read more
