Danielle is friendly and reliable and most of all - she does a great job. We always go with a short cut on our Maltese for ease of maintenance and Danielle's cuts are very consistent. Our dog always looks the same, which is a big positive in my book. Other groomers have delivered inconsistent looks when we simply wanted the same haircut. Although I love my dog's naturally whimsical, fraggle rock stray hairs, things had gotten a little out of control. Typically, I just bathe him and he lucks out on trims from from my vet's office. But his fraggles hard rocked it out, creating a mangled knot of hair just behind his ears. This was beyond my ability, and a reminder that it was probably time for his first grooming. As picky and paranoid as I am about who cares for my dog, I scoured the internet for a place that sounded trusted, warm, not too far away and not at all pretentious. What I found, was the most pleasing experience with Park, Bark & Scrub! From the moment I filled out their request for an appointment, I was impressed by how prompt they were to respond and how friendly the digital interactions remained. They were patient with receiving my paper work (just make sure you have it all in before the appointment) and just very communicative in general. When the day came for my appointment, I was pleased to meet Ian who greeted me on the corner where he parked. I felt so comfortable with him immediately. He was so professional, sweet, and confident - I trusted him with my dog almost immediately. I walked him through my dog's needs, but he also asked follow up questions just to be more specific. I really appreciated that! I then said goodbye to my dog, and waited for a follow-up call in about an hour. Just a little over an hour later, my dog was ready for pick up. The van opened and there he was, fresh, fluffy, trimmed and all of those furry fabulous things. I thanked Ian, paid via credit card and was on my way, with my dog's tail wagging. Although I know he probably wasn't loving every part of the experience (not knowing where I went, having weird sounds around him, being prodded) he definitely left still fond of Ian. While I may not be someone that will take my dog to the groomer on the regular, when I do I will definitely book here. Just make sure you book at least a month in advance. 2nd Update: I received a comment that my review is over hyped. Just to clarify my review is my experience. I'm sure this company is wonderful but that is not what I experienced. In retrospect, there's a dog groomer for everyone and this company just wasn't for us and our lifestyle and work life. Actually, my experience ended up well, with my love now having an amazing and loving groomer who is always on time, very communicative, and the one time they had to cancel due to an emergency, they showed up the next time and gave my pup a little extra love. With our careers, trustworthiness, reliability, and communication is a must. I'm not sure about the first, but in my experience with this service, the last two failed horribly. Update: I have a novel for you! Since they have responded I would like to respond as well. I am a labour Doula and I was with a mom for 72 hours during her labor. With no direct access to my email, Also although my phone was working, I didn't receive their text, and never received their call. I knew I had an appointment Sunday afternoon. So I made it a point to step out and contact them the morning of to make sure they were coming, since they had canceled last minute before and I had made arrangements for my boyfriend to take the day off and wait with my puppy. Once I saw that they had asked for confirmation, which I hadn't realized that I needed to confirm because my original appointment they didn't require that, I confirmed to which they responded later on that they had cancelled my appointment and set another one with another client (I'm assuming) in it's place a day or two earlier. Not only do they cancel, they didn't even send me an email, text or call to notify me of their cancellation. It wasn't until I responded "Confirm!" that they informed me. Oh AND my Original appointment was cancelled the same day by them because of a family emergency which I have no problem with and was VERY understanding about. They acted as if them rescheduling an appointment was a favor to me and them being flexible with me. We set up a new appointment, I think we are all set and then they cancel. So no I'm not very happy with your company. The communication is horrendous and yes you are unprofessional for canceling without so much of an email and without understanding why I physically could not confirm, when I was so understanding with your last minute cancellation the first time!! read more

My only complaint is that its a little difficult to communicate with them via e-mail and the grooming times change after originally being scheduled and as I look to getting back to a job I can see it being a bit of an issue if it happens too often. Danielle did a great job on our shihtzus and was very nice and handled all of our questions and requests. We will definitely be repeat customers. We were happy with our previous groomer for years but looked into mobile grooming to minimize covid risk since there is only a single groomer and no other dogs or customers around. Masks and gloves were worn and the van has a rooftop exhaust system. The cost is about 40% more than our normal groomer but totally worth it when factoring in the benefits - no drop off pick up, dogs get worked on immediately, lower stress environment for dogs, extra services including anal glands, and the covid protocol and lower risk. Our dogs used to spend 4-5 hours at the groomer with lots of waiting before and a little waiting after, but this only took about 80 minutes per dog and they were back in the house seconds after grooming was completed. Absolutely a better experience for owners and pets. read more

Maria is AMAZING with my fur-babies Mazi (Malti-Chi mix) and CJ (Dogo Argentino). CJ is always over excited to see her when she comes. She is so great with both of them. In the past CJ would dread groomers. With Maria he is over joyed and excited to see her and that means a lot to me and I'm sure for him as well. It also helps that she is right at your front door! Mazi is always so nervous however she puts her at ease and makes the experience easy for Mazi. Maria lives up to the hype. She was incredibly friendly and listened to all the random things I kept bringing up, then tailored their grooming to our discussion. I mentioned that one boy might have a UTI, mostly as a warning that he might pee, and Maria actually trimmed him to specifically help keep bacteria away. Hands down the BEST grooming experience I've had with any groomer! My yorkie, Chester, loves Maria! She is very professional and has a can-do attitude! Maria is a great groomer, very pleasant to work with and easy to schedule but she's very popular so appointments need to be made well ahead of time. They send you alternate dates and times if your requested time is not available. They send you a text or email when they've scheduled you and all you have to do is reply C if you agree or send them a text asking for a different time if you don't. Very easy. Maria was the first groomer to take care of our Havanese puppy and has continued to groom him beautifully for the past year. Having had other small breed dogs in the past, it can be very difficult to groom them well and Maria has always listened to our needs and groomed our dog beautifully. It is SO convenient that she comes to you - no worries about leaving your dog cooped up in a kennel for hours. She takes her time with each dog and does an impeccable job. It can be difficult to schedule with her since she is in such high demand, but once you get set in a grooming schedule, it will be well worth it. We know if we ever have to move from the area, we would drive to wherever Maria is just to have our dog groomed. Maria is so fantastic with my dog. She's patient, kind and caring. Is it a bit expensive? Yes but it's worth the convenience of having her come to your home. Not to mention Teddy is so much less stressed than when I would take him to a grooming salon. Maria always asks what service you'd like, how I want him cut, etc. When your pup is finished, she'll give you a thorough recap of what she did and if she noticed anything that might need attention. With my dog, his ears have a tendency to get infected and she'll pay special attention to that. I have to say I was incredibly impressed with the overall experience working with Maria. I submitted a request for service online at Maria's website, she called me within 10-15 minutes, and we setup a time for the next day (Yes, the next day). Maria came exactly at the requested time, was super friendly to talk to, and got along right away with our Brussels Griffon. She took her into her truck and an hour later, we got a dog that we couldn't recognize. She looked amazing, and saved all the anxiety of going to the groomers.
