We wanted to try a few we hadn't had before, and as a huge fan of Kolsch beers, my wife jumped on the chance to try theirs. She loved it and even bought a 6 pack to bring with us. The only beer I didn't love was the Darkth Udder, it had an interesting smoky flavor, but the taster sized glass was more than enough of this choice. All in all, for the small size of the town, I was beyond impressed with the big flavor and refinement the beers presented at Walnut River. The place has some high ceilings, and with plenty of screens to pay attention to, it might get loud during a sportsball session. But there's plenty of seating, both in the dining area and at the bar, and the decor fits not only the theme but the space.
