The brand from OKC works really well in east Wichita! Whether you're stopping in for dinner or maybe just for a drink, Bricktown Brewery has plenty to choose from and delivers a great experience. There are easily 30 beers on tap/chilling in the fridge, ranging from local to national brands, with a great supporting wine and cocktail menu. The beer is cold and hits just right, plus it sets you up to order off that strong menu. From handheld to pizza, Bricktown has lots to choose from. I opted for the Rodeo Burger, a big burger topped with an onion ring, sliced jalapeños, bacon & BBQ sauce. Wowza! Fabulous burg, can't recommend enough. I washed it back with a Left Hand Nitro milk stout, which is maybe a touch heavy, but it's fall and it worked right. Alex, our server, was super quick and attentive; food came fresh and ready, clearly not off a warmer, and the turnaround time was superb! The place has some high ceilings, and with plenty of screens to pay attention to, it might get loud during a sportsball session. But there's plenty of seating, both in the dining area and at the bar, and the decor fits not only the theme but the space. Easy to park, seating is quick, they're open until at least 9:00 daily, and the seasonal specials are definitely worth a look when you stop in. read more

Chris and I met up with a couple of his coworkers to watch the Super Bowl here. Cassie was our server (she's also the bartender). The restaurant was very busy due to the game but Cassie was very efficient. Chris and I shared the Nashville Flat Bread. It was crispy and packed with goodness of tender fried chicken pieces, gooey mozzarella and cheddar cheese, dill pickles and green onions, drizzled with Mike's hot honey. Does everything have to be this big? This isn't a negative review, but rather while I did managed to enjoy the food I've bought from this place, it's just that I couldn't finish it whenever I eat there, service was amazing though when I've forgotten to replace the fries with fried okra with my fish and chips. The sea salt caramel fries were absolutely amazing and has a nice mix of spicy caramel and bacon and the caramel dip for them was amazing, but I couldn't finish them in one setting which normally wouldn't be a deal breaker, but I couldn't finish it in one setting. However, the beer battered fish and fried okra were delicious, I've enjoyed every moment of them every time I would have them every time I'd go there, the batter on the fish may not look like batter but that's fine. The other reason I made it 3 out of 5 is because I don't know if the onion rings are worth it, especially when onion rings at restaurants are hit and miss. The several times I've been at this location, I've been pleased with my order. Writing a review this time because I had the Chicken Pot Pie which was wonderful! Yes, if you make chicken pot pie you make be able to make it better, but the one at Bricktown does the job well of providing comfort and nourishment. Feeling a little under the weather or know someone that could use some comfort like grandma use to provide? Get the chicken pot pie. Crust was flaky, filling was a nice blend of chicken and vegetables in a flavorful creamy sauce. Also, ordered the chicken fried steak. It was good as most out there. Not disappointing. Sides were good and the selection is a nice change from the normal sides at other places with chicken fried steaks. Bill was surprisingly reasonable in our opinion. Only ordered water and tea for our drinks. Service was excellent. Nice setting that wasn't too loud, we had a LARGE party of folks next to us. This place really does have phenomenal salads! I got the Cobb because it was highly recommended . The presentation was beautiful just like their picture (I forgot to take a picture ) and it was very delicious and filling so I took half home. Anywho we also got their absolutely yummy sweet potato fries with the sweet spicy sauce and they also have bacon on them. I'd heard they were good but it wasn't on the menu. They made them for us anyway. I don't typically like sweet potato fries but OMG they were so damn yummy. They definitely need to put them back on the menu!! I had a horrible experience, my friend had a piece of plastic in his grilled cheese. Although the waitresses/hosts were nice.

Tons of beer selections to choose from. Lots of dark, stout beers to choose from. Chicken fried steak was mostly the chicken fried part. Side salad looked good, fresh. I like the reusable cloth napkins instead of paper / disposable. Our server was friendly. The green beans were over cooked. I like red peppers but the way they were made with the green beans was weird. The root beer was flat - no bubbles. Our server went in the back and tried to fix it. Came back out with good root beer with bubbles. It still didn't taste quite right. Oh well. The chicken fried steak was also kind of over cooked and the gravy wasn't particularly favorable. read more

The veggie pizza is not that great. It's a nice crust, but it's way too soggy in the middle and hard to eat. I even got another meat pizza last time - same problem. Can't even hold the pizza up. Prompt and courteous service, with attentive, servers, and fabulous food! This was our first visit and we were meeting a friend from out of town who was a regular there. This is a highly recommended food stop. Didn't try the beers since we weren't staying long. The dining room and restrooms were clean. The chicken tenders were definitely tender and perfectly seasoned, with crunchy coleslaw, and a side of steamed broccoli. Our friend, who had the meatloaf for lunch commented it was a mediocre type of meatloaf, but it was lunch not dinner. Our friend with the club sandwich and sweet potato fries was very happy with her meal and the additionalbacon maple drizzle on the fries. Started with the Avocado Fries...melts in your mouth!!! The amount that comes with your order complements a meal just right. We split the Double Bricktown Burger and decided to try tue sea salt caramel fries. In the tone of Janice from "FRIENDS", Oh...My...God... those fries are addicting! Washed my burger and fries down with the Bluesberry Ale. I'm not a big drinker but that was a lovely pairing with my meal. If it wasn't so late, I'd probably make it through my beverage better. They definitely would benefit having one in KY! If you're ever in OK or KS, hopefully you'll have as good experience as we did. read more

Twisted comfort food? Yes, please! There were so many different items on the menu that sounded absolutely delicious. Fortunately for us, we consulted our awesome waiter, Ivan, who helped us narrow down our order. We ended up ordering the sea salt caramel fries, avocado fries, boom boom shrimp, watonga cheddar curds, buffalo wings, turkey bacon guacamole melt, meatloaf and chicken fried chicken. My favorite dish was definitely the sea salt caramel fries! I already love sweet potato fries, bacon and caramel separately but man when you serve it up all together - WOW! Cheese curds were also quite delicious, it had a nice thin batter and creamy melted cheese. The flavor of the boom boom shrimp was good, but I'm not a fan of popcorn shrimp. Would have loved it if they used bigger shrimp. By the time the entrees came around, most of the group was already full. I did manage to have a bite of everything and thought the meatloaf was my next favorite. The sauce was really good and that frizzled onion made it extra yummy! Yes, local beers on tap, lots of selections, and props to any restaurants that carry sours! The waitress was busy, but she was always on top of it! Extra coloring page for the youngest kid, a refill on the milk for the oldest, extra chips for a middle kid, keeping our beers coming, all around the it was excellent service! Food is usually delicious! Chicken tenders are great. I don't agree with their delivery charges. Door Dash up charges entrees by $2. Plus on all other items too. If you use Bricktown app, the food is a little less expensive but they use door dash ( even though I have 0 delivery charges on door dash - door dash charges $7.79 for all deliveries. The entrees are $2 less but they slap that $7.79 charge on. Meals used to run $30 something for burgers- now it's $50.00 before tip. I feel it's time for restaurants to lower their prices!
