    Breakfast buffet

What so impressed with this hotel during my trip to Denmark. Pros: Awesome breakfast buffet (also starts early for those catching an early flight) literally 1-2 train stops away from CPH airport Rooms were spacious helpful staff inside restaurant/bar they have adapter/charger for international guests Cons: The coffee machine was really bad the laundry service isn't available on weekends the portion of food at the Salt Pepper restaurant was very small Gym was closed during our stay We stayed at another hotel closer to the Tivoli for the first few days of our trip and made this hotel our last. Even though it's far from the city stuff, this hotel is definitely worth checking out. You can hear the metro passing during the evening but it's not horrible. Checkout was fast and easy. Also, you need your hotel key card to use the elevators which made me feel safe.

A very decent 3-star hotel with Gym & Indoor Pool. The Parkinn Hotel is SAS budget line of Hotels, but that doesn't mean that you have to compromise and live in Motel like conditions. The hotel is even located right next to a metro station that'll take you both to downtown Copenhagen (8 mins away) and the Airport (5 mins away). This hotel has a Bar, Restaurant, Gym & Indoor Pool. It offers massage, water-aerobics and other services. Overall, you go a long way for your buck when you choose to stay at this hotel. If you wish to stay away from the expensive downtown hotels when visiting Copenhagen, this is your place to stay.

Clean, reasonable sized. Very close to The Metro station, making it a breeze to head into the city centre. The metro runs 24hours which is also handy. Simple and clean usual facilities you expect, however is a bit dated.

My husband had booked the smallest room (which was the only room available) but it was okay because we just needed a place to sleep. There was internet, a television in the room, a nice bathroom and a bed big enough for both of us. We got there a little early so the owner let us put our luggage there so that we could explore Copenhagen. When we came back to check in, the owner made the check in process (as well as the check out process because we had to leave at 6 am to go to the airport) very easy. She showed us to the room and explained how everything worked. The owner was able recommend a place for us to just grab a quick bite to eat - the cafe she recommended was very nice. The bed & breakfast is in a nice location - it is kind of in a residential neighborhood. It is also close to the metro that takes you to downtown/city center of Copenhagen. Since we were leaving so early in the morning, the owner left breakfast for us in the refrigerator for us to pull out in the morning. She asked us what we would like for breakfast and there it was in the refrigerator.. I would definitely stay here again if I was every in Copenhagen.

I can't say enough about the owner. She was so nice and accommodating to our silly schedule. The location of the place is so perfect. If you need to get to the airport, this is the place to book. You probably could walk to the airport from Ocean. You can see the airport from the street, but I never really heard it at all. If you don't want to walk to the airport you can take the Metro. It took longer to walk to the Metro then it took the Metro to get to the airport. Walking to the Metro took 4 minutes maybe. The Metro also takes you straight downtown to where all of the action is. Now for the room. It was cute. Yes the room was small but I didn't really care. The bathroom, I thought, was pretty cool but I think some would not like it. Ocean is also right by the Aquarium. Totally across the street. My wife wouldn't let me go to the aquarium because fish talk smack to her. She is a little nutty. The next time we decide to go to Copenhagen we will definitely stay here. If they are all booked up we will just stay home.

The cons: very small bathroom with only a curtain to separate the shower and toilet. The place is clean enough but frankly a little sterile. There's no art or cozy feeling. The breakfast had both hot and cold options, some of which were local foods which I appreciated. The hotel was within easy walking distance of Amager Strand, grocery stores, restaurants, cafes, and 2 train stops. It was just a few stops to get to the airport and a few in the other direction to main hubs in Copenhagen's popular areas. Super easy to navigate and not take a ton of time on transit. The only downside is that it was pretty hot when I was there, and though the windows opened, there were many large spider webs just outside mine since it was near exterior lights. Nothing the hotel could do much about, but made me a bit uneasy about leaving the windows open for a breeze. I would definitely stay here again on another trip.

Location: yes, it's on the water but it's about a 15 minute walk to anywhere you want to be. You will spend a minimum of ten minutes walking to the closest public transport and you will cross six lanes of traffic to do it. I am not against an interesting walk but this is through office parks and a residential neighborhood. The crowd: the people staying here fall into three distinct categories. First, elderly cruise ship passengers waiting for their next city bus tour. Second, business people who are there for a convention and are stuck having a mandatory fun night in the lobby bar. Third, flight crews. I am not any of those things so I felt out of place. Decor: the rooms are small and dated. The carpet is badly worn and stained. It's not the worst I've seen, but still. At this price point, the rooms should be nicer. Food: I booked the "executive level" which comes with lounge access and food. The food is fine. Not great, not bad. Be forewarned, however: those old white cruise ship people LOVE "free food" and descend on the lounge like locusts. The staff can barely keep up and everything - particularly the wine - will run out quickly. You aren't going get any wine unless you are willing to wrestle the bottle out of MeeMaw's hands. In short, this hotel isn't bad but it's not worth the price and there are better options.

What we didn't know was, while it took 15-20min to walk, this required taking stairs with our luggage. What we discovered in the lobby was the M2 line was 1 stop and a 5 min walk, saving us some stairs & time. They do charge additional for a 2nd adult in the room, even without breakfast included. This was a last minute decision & we arrived with zero pre-trip knowledge. On arrival at the hotel (noonish) with a strict 2pm check-in. We popped our luggage in the luggage room and plopped down in the lobby to do some quick Copenhagen research. This is when we found out about the transit. The desk agent offered help & suggestions for lunch, but we were on a mission of discovery! At about 1pm, we headed to the Kastrup Station to catch the M2 into the city, armed with a route map screenshot & a 48hr city pass - giving us access to many attractions & transportation. Easy Peasy! We added a night & took the metro to the airport. Leaving the lobby at 630a, we still had time to grab food/ coffee before our 910a flight out of CPH. The lobby looked really good & appeared to have a/c, while the hotel rooms were beyond well-worn, shabby even. There was a notation about being the first hotel to put tvs in every room & I'm pretty sure that was the same day they installed the carpets & showers... get a room with a tub, if you can. We had 2 different rooms because of adding a night and the shower stench from the floor drain was ugh. The carpet was worn to the point that it was painful to walk on without shoes. It was also scary-stained, making shoeless a questionable choice anyhow. The windows open wide, which is good cuz there's NO A/C - it's not that it wasn't turned on, there is none. It was toasty. Now. Speaking of windows, you can see inside the rooms even with the windows closed if the curtains are open. With a courtyard view, you face other rooms & may get a free show. Fans are available in the closets of the rooms. Overall, I'd stay again for the price and convenience. All we did was sleep & shower - one night our room was paid with points so breakfast was included. It's good for free but I wouldn't pay to add it, personally.

Past a certain time, they lock the entrance and you either open with your room key or you need to ring the doorbell. From giving us a small tour, taking us to the elevator and someone waiting in the cold to help us park the rental, these people are just awesome. I personally thought the people we encountered in our short stay were very sweet. People smiled back :D that does not happen at home. LOL. P.S parking is $40 USD The rooms are even more beautiful in person. We got a basic room because it was a short stay and our flight was the next day at 12PM. The water was warm compared to what we were using the days prior in Italy. The bed was A+. There's a stocked mini fridge and a couple of snacks (not free) but it helps for any midnight munchies. We ended up driving up to Mcdonald's. Hear me out... If you feel like the chicken nuggets have never tasted the same than before in the US, TRY IT OUT IN COPENHAGEN. I wouldn't if I were you…read more I attempted to book a room in July 2026, but because it was a Copenhagen charge on my card, and I live in the U.S., I received a fraud alert from my card. This is normal. However, since I was trying to book a room to last over a week in August, I did not want to have a double charge so I called my credit card and I told them it was an attempted charge but not to put the charge through . They did not. I have no record of paying anything to any booking site or to Scandi to secure any reservation. However, when I arrived in Copenhagen on 8/21 and checked into the other hotel "the Square" across the square that I booked on another card after I had cancelled the reservation attempt on the previous card, Scandi improperly charged my card $304 without warning. I walked over to their hotel that day and had two fairly rude and dismissive conversations with front desk clerks wherein they basically told me that their records indicated that I made a reservation and that I did not appear so they charged me $304 for a day stay. They claimed they had no control and it was Expedia. Here's the fraud: I never used expedia to attempt to make the booking and have no written evidence whatsoever a booking was made. None was. This is fraud. There is no record of my having paid any third party booking site or Scandia for any reservation. And ask yourself: why would I maid two reservations elsewhere if I had a reservation. at Scandi? There is no record of any third-party or Scandia telling me via email or in any form of writing that there was a reservation. There was none. There were no emails telling me about my impending stay because there was no stay scheduled. Scandi had the audacity to only agree to refund my credit card, when working with my credit card company to resolve this amicably, the princely sum of $2.98. Unfortunately, I'm the wrong person you try to pull this nonsense on. I will pursue this until I reach financial satisfaction - which I will. I will not be cheated. I will also be contacting the two principle government offices with the Danish authorities about this. I add this: in response to my credit cards' inquiries, Scandi produced no documentation or any proof of a made reservation, no proof a confirmation to me the reservation was made, no reminders in advance of any impending reservation or any proof of the holding of any such reservation. It simply kept the money and now has disrespectfully and fraudulently refunded me $2.98 back.

After some exploring, I returned to the hotel around 4 PM and finally checked in. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that my single room had been upgraded to a larger room for free. I was stoked to hear that and loved the room and location they gave me. The room was beautifully furnished and was very clean! The only downside is the no AC.
