I am still amazed by the experience I had at this location. I got to enjoy the friendliness and amazing equipment. Once I arrived I was welcomed in and checked in right away. I had paperwork to fill out. I the office provided complimentary drinks in the lobby. After my paperwork work was completed I was able to go to the back to get a full scan of my mouth. It was in 3D with color. I was a bit skeptical because of my experience at sage dental but they said not to worry. After going over some of my goals for my smile I felt so relaxed. The dentist understood everything and answered all of my questions. After that I got to relax and watch my show on Netflix because they had TVs mounted on the ceiling while you get your cleaning done. Now the cleaning was such a peaceful moment. She cleaned my teeth with so much care. There were three flavors of toothpaste for the cleaning. I got to try the cinnamon and one other. I really enjoyed the cinnamon but decided to stick with the other that I cannot recall. I even got walked out and was gifted a tumbler too. I absolutely love my new dental office. read more

Park Smiles pleasantly surprised me and even though they are not in network I feel that is worth seeing them as the quality of service, honesty, kindness and empathy are a rare experience indeed. I had gone to another dentist and they tried to put in two crowns because I supposedly had two cavities when I never had any issues. I searched for another dentist to get a 2nd opinion. Park smiles was able to determine that I just needed to redo one cavity. The difference was like night and day. Update after speaking with Dr. Byrnes the next morning: On Tuesday, Jan 10th I arrived 15 min late for my consultation with Dr. Kever & she wouldn't see me. I was very disappointed, and didn't plan to return. I left a 1 star review on yelp. Tuesday night (Jan 10) I received a voicemail from Dr. Byrnes. He saw the yelp review. He explained what the other dentist was experiencing that day and felt terrible I did not receive the service I was expecting. He wanted to know what they could do to make it right. I called back today, Wednesday, and spoke with Dr. Byrnes. He heard my concerns and spent 17 minutes on the phone with me, answering all the questions I would've had during the consultation the previous day. He gave me his opinions on my case and some of referrals to the oral surgeons I was looking for. He really took his time to answer all of my questions. The best place I've ever been for my dental needs. Staff is so friendly and kind. They do an excellent job cleaning; with no pain. You even get to control a TV to toss on Netflix or Sportscenter. TLDR: you will want to have this place be your dentist. Let me start by saying, before Dr. Holz I hated going to the dentist. I did not have the best dental hygiene growing up which has compounded into a mouth that needs a lot of work. Previous dentists I went to made this seem insurmountable and it was too overwhelming and I ultimately would give up every time. Dr. Holz did the opposite of that. In my initial consult with him on 9/20/2021 he also explained that my mouth was in really bad condition, but he took the time to explain how we could systemically approach it and what needed to be taken care of right away and what could wait for the future. He also did not judge me when I shed a few tears over how overwhelming it all was. 1.5 years later, 6 teeth pulled, 4 crowns, 10+ fillings (I was able to not need some over time which was great), 14 visits later I am still as happy as I am that first visit. Every visit to the office is dare I say fun. Everyone at the office works together to take care of you so that you have the best experience. I had some complications from the teeth being pulled that required lots of coordination and the front office stepped in and made sure everything was taken care of so that I could focus on what I needed to. Also Dr. Holz and the different assistants explain every step of the way what they are doing so that I never have to wonder what that weird sound is in my mouth. Also, Dr. Holz is the best at numbing I have ever experienced. The experience is top notch while you are in the chair is also top notch. The massage chairs and televisions with Netflix and disney+ are a wonderful added bonus that help distract you when you have longer treatments. I could continue to go on and on with how much this location has changed my life but I will leave you with this, 1.5 later I've finally moved out of the first phase of treatment and get to begin on the optional parts of my treatment, and I have never enjoyed my smile more. I cannot thank Dr. Holz and team for all they do enough. read more

I had an awesome experience at Park Smiles Dentistry. I was able to get a same day appointment for a cleaning. I was way overdue for a cleaning and was also looking for a new dentist in the area. Current safety measures include waiting in your car until they are ready and wearing masks until you are seated for your cleaning. They also took my temperature and offered hand sanitizer prior to entry. The office is really nice! The staff were welcoming and kind and made me feel very comfortable. Tracey was my dental assistant and was fantastic! It was a pleasure to chat with her and she did a great job. The Dr was great as well and gave me some helpful information to ensure my teeth are in tip top shape. By far the best dental clinic I have ever been to. I had to have a tooth extraction this morning. I hate going to the dentist. I told Dr. Jaffe that I was very hard to get numb and requested nitrous oxide. For whatever reason the nitrous had no effect. I understand that happens to some people. He said he had it turned up to the maximum and even double checked the tank to make sure it wasn't empty. When we were done he told the assistant to not charge me for the nitrous. He got me numb enough that I didn't feel any pain at all. He and the rest of the staff were incredibly nice. read more

My 10 year old sustained a fall off her bed and knocked out half her front tooth. We just moved to Winter Park and haven't established ourselves with a dentist. We phoned Dr. Byrnes' office on NY Day where they made his personal cell phone available for emergencies. I phoned him and he returned my call immediately. Within 10 minutes he consituted our situation as an emergency and met us at his office in 15 minutes. Wow! He was kind, caring and put my little girl (and Mom) at ease immediately. He gently spoke to her and explained the process. Dr. Byrnes provided realisitc options on her prognosis and future steps. Dr. Byrnes put my daughter's smile back together. We left with a bonded tooth and happy smiles all around. Dr. Byrnes was swift, kind, professional and provided above and beyond services for our emergency on a holiday. So happy i found Park Smiles Dentistry. We just moved from california and we loved our dentist office there, it was a family dentistry for kids and adults, so i was looking for a place for us and the kids, ages 8 & 9. I honestly was nervous the first visit to Park Smiles because i am so used to excellent service at our old dentist and didn't know if i would find that here. Well guess what?! I did!!! The front office staff is genuinely nice and helpful, the dentist dr was super nice and professional. He would explain everything and how to proceed. Not trying to push any treatment that you wouldn't need. In addition to that he was very helpful in giving tips to make our move to Florida smooth and memorable. Then there is the hygienist who was very gentle and caring yet professional and did an excellent job with the cleaning. So i would really recommend them for anyone looking for an absolutely excellent dentist! The office is very clean and there are additional services they provide to make your visit smooth, like blankets, wifi, coffee and much more. It is one amazing thing to go to the dentist and not be afraid lol. The parking is easy and ample. My kids appointment is in the coming weeks, so i will update my post to include their experiences. Update: today my kids had sealants and fillings appointments in the new office. Great experience, compassionate Team and doctors. Lots of patience. I haven't ever written a review before, especially for a dentist office, but Park Smiles and Dr. Byrnes is as good of an operation as it gets. I just started going to this office recently and am very glad that I did. I have never had such good customer service or a dentist that was this skilled. I had a root canal and was dozing off, almost falling asleep, because it was actually relaxing at this place. When I went to corporate and chain operations, it was very painful and overall a horrible experience. I did not know it was possible to have this type of dental work done with no pain until I visited Park Smiles. I also needed to have a crown replaced that came off (again, thanks to the corporate/chain dentists' craftsmanship, or rather lack thereof) and Dr. Byrnes not only fixed the issue, but also went ahead and did the rest of the work that I needed and had coming up so that I would not have to come back in several weeks. What sets this office apart is yes, Dr. Byrnes being a great dentist, but also the fact that everyone there I have interacted with knows what they are doing, are very professional, and treat patients with respect and just outstanding customer service. This is extremely rare in this day and age. It is far too common to have a front office that is rude and treats you as if you are a burden, but not here. Overall, my experience at this office has been great. I would highly recommend Park Smiles to anyone and cannot imagine that a better operation would exist. read more

I'd sworn off sweets since childhood to avoid getting any cavities, and I made it 36 years before I succumbed. I was always petrified of the drill and the pain associated with the procedure. Fortunately, Dr. Byrnes came down from heaven and graced this Earth with his impeccable skills and breadth of knowledge. Not only did I no feel a thing, but he talked me through the entire process so it was more informative than agonizing. In fact, after the procedure, Dr. Byrnes asked if I felt anything, and in my excited state that it was surprisingly over so quickly, I actually screamed "I didn't feel shit". One day, my entire mouth ached and I couldn't decipher why. I exhausted as many home remedies to no avail until the pain decided a professional was necessary. I recalled my chiropractor suggesting Park Smiles, so I called and pleaded that they'd help resolve this toothache. To my glee, they allowed me to come in THAT day, an hour later, and Dr. Byrnes actually determined that the ache I was experiencing was related to SINUS issues. And after purchasing the appropriate medication, the pain vanished!!! This ended my long search for a central Florida dentist! I was looking to switch dentists as my previous one was far away from my house. I ran across Dr. Byrnes on a friend's recommendation. The office is close and convenient to my work, so I decided to give him a try. I am really glad that I did. I needed to have a cleaning but decided to do x-rays as well since I had taken a fall earlier in the year and wanted to make sure there was no damage to my teeth. Dr. Byrnes was able to do both and in a timely manner. I felt better than I have in awhile coming out of the dentist's office. My teeth had been thoroughly cleaned and I made a follow up appointment to speak about getting invisalign. My favorite part of this process was convenience. My former dentist did not offer anything but the general cleaning and I was needing more than that. The staff was friendly and helpful. Park Smiles is open again after the mandated closure due to COVID-19. I was super impressed with every precaution they are taking for patients and staff alike.
