The staff are so friendly, and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Stephen Creaser has a true passion/love for his job. He explains all of the steps he is taking and insured that I was completely comfortable (yay no pain!!). He also takes photos of your teeth! So at the end of your appointment you get to see (from his view) what he did, why and how! Its pretty (gross) cool! Dr. Creaser's prices are really reasonable too! Their staff are really helpful when it comes to insurance as well! I actually am looking forward to my next appointment, not really, but I definitely am more comfortable with the thought of going!!

I've always had the same dentist, and it's definitely a good way to do it. First of all, I should say that they recently renovated and for a waiting room, their waiting room is quite nice. I never have to spend much time in there, either. If I have an appointment at 11:30, I almost always get in by 11:40. This is one of the best things, I think, a health office can offer. Short waiting times. So, on to the actual treatment. They're a dentist. They do the horrible scrape-y bit, they polish your teeth, floss, and give you some nasty fluoride to stick in your mouth for a while. None of it is very fun. There's no way around that, so I'm not gonna complain about it. However, they are very thorough and keep up a constant stream of patter. Plus, they don't ask you questions while their hands are in their mouths; that can be very annoying. They're also very good for getting things done. Today I needed two teeth capped, they did it right after my cleaning. That is awesome. So, the people are friendly. They ask how I'm doing, what I've been up to. They remember me. The dentistry itself is good, they notice when things are wrong and offer good advice (more than just the token 'Floss more!'), and help you stay healthy. Plus, they have really groovy sunglasses to protect your eyes from the lights. What more could you want?

I did it purely because it was closer to my house, and came to deeply regret that decision. Dr Carr was happy to take me back and was able to help me with a potentially serious problem that the dentist at the other clinic missed. I also get my routine cleanings and check ups done here. The hygienists are great and I've never had a complaint about their work. Like most dental clinics, they will do direct billing to most insurance companies if you have coverage and bring your card with you.

The office is small with a rather cramped waiting area, but you can sign yourself in via touch screen rather than wait for the receptionist. While tiny, the waiting area is actually quite nice with dark, faux-leather chairs and warm browns throughout. Dr. Russell herself is efficient and friendly, and gets you in and out as quickly as possible, which I appreciate! Her assistants are also friendly and professional. The only issue is that she sees patients only one day a week, Friday. (She also teaches at Dal and works at the IWK.) While this can be an inconvenience, it's a small one for seeing a good, professional doctor.

I'm very pleased so far: they're on time, prompt, thorough, and attentive. My cleaning was fantastic, one of the best I've had in years. Dr Ryan has done a great job with a filling and starting the work on a crown I needed: it's been pain-free, and all explained as I go along. And the front-of-office staff are super, too. They worked with me when I was changing my insurance coverage, and helped me maximize the benefit. They rang me a week after my temporary crown just to see how I was feeling (no discomfort at all, as it happens). And they'll give you vouchers for free parking at the Purdys Wharf parkade, too.

At Paradigm you will see people ranging from young kids to adults, all leaving satisfied and happy with their new smile. I was especially unexcited to get my braces on at first, but Paradigm made my time with braces easy, simple, beneficial, and even made me enjoy visits to the orthodontist. Paradigm is one of few places where you really feel that they are here for you. I'd recommend Paradigm to anyone, and there is no question in my mind that Dr. Emanuele, is one of the top orthodontists in the city.

After the COVID shutdown, I was surprised that they didn't reschedule my appointment when they re-opened. Later, when the crown on a very prominent front tooth broke off, I called for an emergency appointment and was told " nope...booking 3 months out...suggest you try another dentist". So I did, got an implant, a new, very modern practice and Penhorn lost all my future business.
