They…read morealso do a monthly membership for all others at $40 a month, which isn't too bad considering what they offer. For a company gym, I was pleasantly surprised at how much this place had. For starters, they have an extensive list of classes that happen before, during and after work hours. Classes range from yoga, spin, zumba, abs, cardio circuits, etc. They are all free and you just need to walk in/get a number. There's also a basketball court where you can play basketball (duh), badminton, indoor soccer and more. Sometimes the court is closed off for classes though, so just gotta check the schedule. Like any other gym, they have a crap ton of cardio equipment. Treadmills, ellipticals, stairmaster, bikes... you name it. You can get your cardio in at almost any given time cause there's just so many to use. As for the weights area, it's pretty nice, but leaves some to be desired. There is a double squat rack setup that forces people to look at each other. Kinda awk. At least they have a powerlifting platform with bumper plates! The only problem with that is, as of recent, there is a sign on the platform stating that they might remove it due to noise complaints. Seriously? People complain about grunting and loud noises at a gym? -_- Anyways, the equipment are very well kept and people tend to actually rack the weights in the right place, which makes everything easily accessible. There are a bunch of trainers here who all know their stuff. They get a little anal about a few things though... One they don't allow the use of excessive chalk because it gets all over the floor. They asked me to clean up chalk on the ground before even though it wasn't mine. wtf? Another thing is that they don't allow recording in the gym. I don't get why. I saw a bunch of people recording and when I did it, they asked me to stop cause it's not allowed. Idk. Overall, pretty cool gym for employees. Can't wait for the new spot to open up on campus though.

Good Athletic Club…read more There's two swimming pools, tennis courts, gym, etc. I like how the jacuzzis are separated (men and one for women). I mainly use the pool here and it hasn't been any problem. The water is pretty heated and there's always room somewhere for you to do your laps (or practice diving). Staff are also friendly and the space is clean. Also love the environment in the women's locker room. Everyone is so sweet!

I'm a wheelchair user and had been a member at Primetime for a couple of years. The equipment suited my needs well enough. However, the elevator began malfunctioning with increasing frequency -- breaking down multiple times a month -- to the point where I was once stuck inside it. On other occasions, I made the trip to the gym only to be turned away because it was out of service. Since all the equipment I rely on is on the second floor, a broken elevator effectively meant no access for me. The real issue wasn't the maintenance failures -- it was how management handled them. After several days of trying to reach the club manager, I finally got him on the phone. I made a simple, reasonable request: could they notify me when the elevator was down so I wouldn't make an unnecessary trip? Without any hesitation, he told me this was a "liability" for them, cancelled my membership effective immediately, and hung up. No acknowledgment, no apology, no discussion. I understand that equipment breaks down. What I don't understand is treating a paying member's accessibility concern as something to be discarded rather than addressed. I'll let you draw your own conclusions -- I just wanted to make sure this experience was on the record.

The play was great, but I had a really difficult time with the refs and how things were dealt with. Derrick is great and really tries to make everything work well, but my experience was pretty frustrating. The last game of the season before playoffs, two team members walked in 3 minutes before starting time, according to two several different cell phone clocks (our games were ALWAYS starting late). When I arrived, the ref had already forced our team to forfeit, the clock had been running for 7 minutes already, and he refused to ref our game. This made us ineligible for the playoffs and our season ended on a scrimmage that wasn't even reffed. When I confronted the ref before the game to ask him why he made us forfeit, he started screaming at me and called me a liar. Big he said she said mess that was just really frustrating. I contacted Derrick and didn't receive any response after several attempts at some kind of resolution, so I requested that my team be given the equivalent of that games' worth of our fee back, because the ref didn't officiate and we didn't get to participate as agreed, or that we receive an apology from the ref. I didn't receive any response for quite some time, and eventually was told that they have to stand by the refs, and they couldn't give us a refund because they had already paid the ref fees (for the ref that didn't officiate?). They offered a $14 credit toward the next season for the five players who were there, but all of us were so annoyed by the ordeal that we chose not to use this league again. None of the leagues are great by any means, but you think they'd at least try to make an effort to make it fair and to maintain current players. Oh well. My money goes elsewhere now.

The atomsphere is very relaxed with people going out there and just to have fun with the right amount of competitive spirt. Softball takes place in the Presidio and they have a great core group of players and a good mix of new teams. They have approximately 25-35 softball teams playing during the season. The coed basketball is great and a lot more social than the past men's leagues I have played. Everyone is about high school ability Overall I recommend the club of its professional service and fun attitude!
