    The Patient

This incredible team helped me through the loss of one friend and brought another back from the brink. I would recommend them to anyone.

I love the doctor and her team here! Everyone is so nice and calm to where even my ferret was calm and not freaking out. I was recommended of off one of Wisconsin Ferret Facebook groups and was worried they would have a doctor with broad knowledge. But the doctor here had so much information and experience working with ferrets. Abba and I had the best time. They did so amazing with her that she accepted a nail trim and barely squirmed around. I am a 100% making this Abbas permanent vet they are everything I can ask for and more in an exotic vet.

I thought I should post a review after my dog (Brady) just passed, and was under excellent life care at Park Pet Hospital. Please don't hesitate to take your animals here. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, and very compassionate. We have had several animals under Dr. Poehlmann's care, and will continue to drive our future pets the 40 minute drive to her office. It's well worth the peace of mind to have our furry family members under such good loving care. Thanks for all you do, and we will see you soon when we add a new member of our family . Hoppe was compassionate, knowledgeable and reassuring, and his Vet Tech was equally excellent.

Our dog had always been terrified & anxious when going to the vet, but for many reasons we now know, he seemed at ease with Dr. Ron. He outlined the pros/cons of moving forward with such an invasive surgery on an elderly dog and walked us through all the initial tests he wanted to run to make sure something of that nature was safe for him. In the end, we moved forward with a successful surgery that gave our little guy a little more comfort in his last years. This was after being told by various vets it was a no go. Unfortunately, a few years later we needed to put our boy down of old age and we of course called Dr. Ron as Royal was so comfortable in his presence. Dr. Ron came to our house and made the entire experience peaceful for everyone involved. We were sent a thoughtful card, stamp of his paw and a beautiful urn afterwards. Dr. Ron is animal whisperer (or so we think). Him and his staff are incredibly kind and thoughtful, and we're so happy we found them in our dog's last years. We're going to wait for a few years before getting another dog, but when we do, we're excited to bring them to Dr. Ron & My Pet's Vet. Thank you again.

We have a three legged Doodle, which as you can imagine presents some challenges. Ours was Brittany's first tripod, and over the last year she has been extremely patient in establishing a relationship with her, and getting her to become more and more relaxed with every visit. There was a big gap between appointments due to an injury our Doodle suffered the end of 2025, but once she was confidently back on all threes, I called Brittany and was able to get her in fairly quickly. She turned a matted, overgrown mess into a whole new dog! As much as we loved her longer hair, the new look has definitely grown on us. She's a whole new dog, and we are grateful for Brittany for all she's done for us!

When I showed for the appointment, the groomer asked me questions regarding what I was looking for but it was clear she was NOT actively listening. Former groomers typically took about 3 - 4 hours. i was called after an hour and a half. I had to pay before seeing my dog and leave a tip...I shouldn't have even done that! My dog was scalped everywhere except her face and that was not carefully cut. There were areas with stray clumps not even trimmed (tail, sides). She looked horrible and it was obvious she couldn't wait to get the hell out of there! NEVER AGAIN!

We have had only positive experiences with this doctor and this establishment. Unfortunately we had the need to visit room 5 a couple of weeks ago. For those who are unaware, room 5 is the room where the humane and dignified process of end-of-life occurs. The animal hospital provides a comforting and painless procedure we regrettably had to face. Dr. Martinez made sure our 17 year old very sick cat felt no pain and only experienced love until the very end. For that we are grateful. A personal follow-up condolence card reinforced the caring this facility provides.

Last year I wasn't allowed to stay with my dog while having her routine yearly exam and vaccination! What? The reason I was given was idiotic. This year, I specifically asked if I could be present, and thought surly they would ablige...THEY SAID NO. The reason was completely different then the year before. They even put a muzzle on my sweet dog (I was appalled ), who is by NO MEANS remotely aggressive about anything. And you'd think being veterinarians they'd know MOST animals will do better when there people are present!!! I will now be looking for a new Veteranian Office! CORPORATE RUINS EVERYTHING. They were able to get me in right away and were very kind. I see there is another review on here saying they lacked empathy and that they paid $1,000. First off, both the Vet Tech and Vet were incredibly empathetic, and as far as the cost goes, while my cost was over $1,000, it was nothing out of the ordinary given the circumstances and honestly, was expected. People need to understand that you are going to pay more money at an Urgent Vet or Emergency vet, but when it's 10:00pm at night and you have nowhere else to go, what else can you do? We left my cat there for a little under 2 hours while they did the procedure and then we picked him up after. They called me 2 days later to follow up and see how my cat was doing as well, which I very much appreciated. I had no idea this place existed but I am grateful they were able to help me and my cat and my experience overall with them was pleasant. Thank you Urgent Vet!

I made the appointment for 6:30pm and called around 3pm and then rushed home to grab her so we could be on time. Well apparently they called me while I was at work (didn't realize until I was already on the way) and told me they couldn't see my MALE cat because it's an emergency? How do you know it's an emergency without a Doctor ever examining her? You didn't even get her gender correct, so how do you expect to know what her condition is like? Also, you're an urgent care, it's your job. I'm not about to take my cat to an expensive ER when this doesn't seem to be an immediate emergency. Then they took her off the schedule and now I'm left to find somewhere else that will take her, as my primary vet is closed. What kind of business runs this way? Reading the other negative reviews, it seems I've dodged a bullet.
