Parking is a mess here but if you find a spot, you're a winner! This is grocery heaven to me (and other foodies). They have a great produce, frozen, pantry, snacks, refrigerated section. I have been here a few times. It is a mixed bag with the experience. I would give it to them that their store looks cleaner than most Asian markets here in Cleveland. However, you literally have to run around the whole store to find things because they don't label aisle signs. On a few occasions, I had question about the prices and they would argue with me. For example, I got raw peanuts and they charged roasted peanuts. They told me I was wrong. No I was not because I had to boil them to eat at home. Recently, I was buying jackfruits. So there were 2 signs, both said jackfruits and Chinese characters ( I am not Chinese so I don't know what it said). The cut jackfruit did not have any price label on them so I was assuming the above sign was the price for it per lb. At checkout, it was actually other jackfruit sign price. I questioned why was it the wrong place and the cashier told me look at the pictures. Maybe it was the language barrier but that was so rude. Because of her attitude, I did not buy that jackfruit at all. She mumbled something under her breath in Chinese. I was like excuse me. She didn't respond. One of the best values in Asiatown is the bahn mi sandwich at park to shop. Fresh made daily on a french roll. Two different meats with the pate and pickled radish and carrots, cilantro and some jalepeno. is it the best in the city? No. But for the price and convenience I eat this on the regular. Park to Shop is my favorite grocery in Asia Town. It seems to be the largest grocery and has so many products. Today it was so busy we couldn't find a parking spot in the lot and had to park across the street. They have everything from prepared foods to cookware. The selection can be overwhelming so it is good to have an idea of what you are looking for. That being said you could take 30 minutes looking at all the options for soy sauce. If you are looking for a hard to find items Park to Shop is the place. Checking out is quick and efficient. The staff keep the line moving, so even when it is very busy you aren't waiting long. Really bad service. A lady with short hair and without glasses has bad service. There's one time I forgot to bring my physical card, and my card is not connected to the Apple Pay. I only took out $20 since I thought it covered all the food I need. Apparently it was not, so I asked to take out of the rest of food. The next I came here, this lady was so loud abruptly attracting her friend to "see" me. I felt so uncomfortable and now I know, it's because she thought I have no money so her friends should see me. I hate to explain myself, but the fact is, I have cash but I just didn't want to pick up from my car. Because I have to walk back and get the bag and everything. And I also have money in my bank account. I can just come back any day from work, and she just made it really rude. She gave me really bad impression about her, her friend, and this market. I paid for everything I need, never steal or escape from any payments. You should hire more polite and helpful people other than this lady. Nice people wouldn't be that gossip and negative. Park to Shop is an Asian grocery store located in the AsiaTown area. I wouldn't be able to tell from the name alone that it was an Asian grocery story if my friend hadn't taken me there. She tells me this is where she has been going for her Asian ingredients. And that they are less stinky than the other Asian grocery store in the area. In the front of the store they have a large corkboard for personal ads. I saw multiple languages. Of the ones I can read, there were ads for hiring or shop transfer and all sorts of things. Seems like a helpful tool for the minority community in the area to connect and help each other. So while in Cleveland, I just wanted to prepare a nice meal for my friend while she was working. To my credit, she told me it was better than any of the Vietnamese restaurants in the area. I found that their ingredients were limited to the selection that I am used to at my local Asian grocery store but I was able to cut corners and find alternatives to minimally get by. Overall I'm glad my friend has an Asian market nearby but I can't help but wish it had a better selection. read more

If you are looking for anything to make up Asian cuisine the Park to Shop at Asia Plaza probably has it. A good selection of rice, tea, sauces, etc, They also have restaurant, or kitchen, supplies. So if you are in need of a wok, steamer, pots, pans, lids for them, or utensils they have quite a selection. They have a well stocked fish area to (giving the store that authentic Asian fragrance ). They also have a pretty good selection of spices, noodles, dried mushrooms, sesame seeds, and beans. If you are looking for Napa Cabbage or Bok Choy, which not every grocery store sells, they have these, in addition to several fruits and vegetables. Check them out. If you love Asian cuisine, they can most likely get you stocked up for it. read more

The best Cleveland has to offer in terms of a Chinese grocery store. It gets the job done for the most part. The exception would be the prepared foods section like the kimchi and the rice balls, which taste like food that has been sitting out for days. The produce section isn't bad: I used to get oranges back when oranges were in season. The vegetables are good quality. I have yet to see any rotten vegetables when browsing their vegetable selection. Park to Shop is my primary source of baby bok choy and water spinach whenever they're in season. I only buy meat when I don't want to make a separate trip to my usual grocery store. Use the ground pork the day you buy it. I've had their ground pork smell rotten after only a couple of days of sitting in the fridge. The quality of meat at Park to Shop is questionable. read more

I bought three 5-pound bags of sweet rice today. The cashier didn't bag them. Since it was raining outside, and I didn't want my rice to get wet, I started to grab 3 plastic bags - one plastic bag for each bag of rice. The cashier started to yelled at me rudely. Customers need to watch out the prices when checkout . The prices they mark don't always reflect the prices they charge you. This happens very often, and they do not apologize, few cashiers are rude and mad and claim that they only follow the computer system. They do not follow the basic rules, and they are not serious enough about the prices. read more

A great supermarket to meet all of your Asian food needs! From vegetables to 100 year old eggs you can find it all! (Except for botan rice candy). That must be left for San Francisco's China Town! This is where we go when we buy rice (in the 40lb bags) This is also where we go when we plan to make dumplings. They have their dumpling skins in the back corner, but they have great fresh ground pork behind the meat counter. They also have a great snack isle, for odd snacks like Lays in seaweed flavor. I love the Hot Garlic Calbee Shrimp Chips. They also have a packaged fresh bakery items here, but I do not recommend getting them here. I asked for help three times (yes, 3) and simply showed one of the stock people a picture of what I was looking for. They shook their head and walked away! And yes, they did have that product. When I put my basket on the belt to check out, the girl at the checkout was literally yelling at me in a language I obviously don't understand. I apologized and asked her if she wanted me to take my things out of the basket. Instead she dumped the basket out and left everything at the end (I guess I should start bagging)? Really enjoy this market. My go to for fresh ginger, oolong tea, rice, soy sauce, edamame and summer rolls. Great prices on tea and produce. Love the reasonably priced fresh produce. My children love the Asian candies. Sometimes there is a language barrier when asking questions or help, but I enjoy the authenticity of the market. I buy all my chop sticks there and soup bowls for ramen or pho. They are located near my work, so I shop often during my lunch break. I have mixed feelings about this store. They offer a wide variety of items and unique items you cannot find in the other stores. They have several aisles dedicated to noodles. They also have a backroom full of cooking supplies. The only part of this store I do not enjoy is the smell. Last time I was there they had a sale on pork. It was in an open bin in front of meat counter. From the looks of it the juices from the pork got under the counter and had started to go rancid. read more

I stopped here on the advice of one of my coworkers. I usually go to Tink Holl for my Asian specialties, but decided to check this place out last time I was in Cleveland. I am very impressed. The store is very well put together. It's easy to find whatever you may be looking for and the selection is excellent. They have a small bakery section which is pretty good. Great Produce and a huge meat counter. I was impressed with the different varieties of everything. Lots of freezer items, tons of ramen, rice and noodles. The have a ton of cooking supplies, dishes and gifts. It's very busy on the weekend. I've only been during the week early in the morning. I definitely want to go back and do more exploring. There is so much to see and even with two visits, I haven't really checked it all out. read more

This Asian grocery store is connected to the Asian Plaza. It has plenty of parking spaces unlike some of the other grocery stores I've been to in the area. This store has plenty of ingredients I need when it comes to cooking Filipino, Cambodian, Vietnamese, Korean, or Chinese dishes! It's like a one stop shop because if you're hungry you can always go through the plaza and eat some dim sum in the restaurant! And you know what people usually say.. shopping hungry is never a good thing for your wallet! The only reason why I would knock off a star is because the meat selection is limited depending on what time of the day you shop. So it's basically a first come first serve basis. Park To Shop is one of my three favorite Asian grocery stores in the Cleveland area. Some of the features I like about this grocery store is that it is has a large variety of Asian groceries including fresh produce and fruit, lots of sauces and condiments, tons of rice, noodles and ramen, fresh meat and seafood and hot foods/prepared foods. They have a variety of grab and go items like savory sticky rice, tong zhi (sticky rice wrapped in banana leaves), cooked sushi, dumplings, tea eggs, brisket stew, fresh soy milk and coconut taro dessert soup. I like to get fried tofu and a banh mi sandwich to snack on. Or other times I will get one of their delicious baked bbq pork buns (char siu bao). There is a fair assortment of baked goods and pastries to try including pineapple buns, sponge cakes and cream buns. If you come after 4pm you can get buns 3 for the price of 2. I find myself here getting groceries and snacks at least twice a week. If you are in AsiaTown, make a pit stop at Park To Shop. You will be glad you did. read more

Pretty solid selection of Asian groceries. It's pricier than the other Asian grocery stores in the area, but is also a little more organized and therefore easier to navigate for non-Chinese speakers (because yes, most of the employees are Chinese). The produce section is pretty fresh, depending on what fruit/vegetables you're looking to get, and they also have a bigger selection of pastries than Asia Town Center and Tink Holl. (I would still go to Koko though if possible.) Their selection of spices, sauces and seasonings will take you around the continent of Asia several times over - I've found everything I need to satisfy the recipes I use, and usually in the brands that I'm accustomed to. My friend says that the meat at Asia Town Center is fresher, but you can decide for yourself. Park to Shop always seems to be busier than the other groceries as well, probably due to the fact that it's in the same plaza as Li Wah and dim sum + grocery shopping seems to be a ritual. This also means they have more staff on hand and in general they're pretty efficient. However, you can still expect a wait and might have to be assertive at the meat counter so as not to be cut in line by someone else. Sometimes vendors will be selling things outside on special occasions (like roasted chestnuts on Chinese New Year), so be sure to take advantage of that! read more

Wasabi powder, a quart of fish sauce, tamarind paste (a must have if you're making Pad Thai), MSG, Hello Kitty merchandise. Chinese sausages, 50# bags of rice, produce you've never seen before: all these and more are available at Park to Shop. Also an extensive selection of teas and supplements, instant sauces, seasonings, meats and frozen foods. If you enjoy cooking Asian food, you owe it to yourself to boogie on down to Park to Shop at least once. Korean, Japanese, Indian, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, it's all here.
