However, upon a second visit with my Yorkies I can truly say I will never return again. After I picked up my dogs, I noticed the workers were acting a bit "off" when I picked up my dogs, I never paid it any attention until a couple days later I noticed my Yorkies eye swollen and crusted on her cheek. I went to scrub the "crust" off and after cleaning it I discovered a huge hole in her cheek, that crust was a scab covering an obvious slice from either scissors or clippers. It was the size of a dime and starting to become infected. If the workers simply told me upon pickup that she was injured I would have been able to care for her properly, however now it's too late for that and my poor dog has a scar on her cheek with possibly no new hair growth surrounding that area. Anyone who knows me, KNOWS I am a loyal customer and refuse to change my small business favorites. I was heart broken because we love our old groomer! So after several other failed attempts and my babies getting abused and hurt by other groomers I was desperate! I contacted her via Facebook messenger on a friend's recommendation to make an appointment. She was super sweet, very accommodating, nice and professional. The fact that my big stinkers Bucky didn't growl or bark like banshees was amazing! She was also super sweet with my baby. I was hopeful but still nervous because I am ALL about my dogs whenever I try new groomers or boarders. If my babies get hurt or mistreated I go Mama Bear mode on anyone and everyone. Just ask my husband lol. I even advised her that my baby Bucky has sensitive skin and needed hypoallergenic dog shampoo. I also showed her pictures of what my Bucky looked like after the last grooming appointment from my last groomer. She asked very great questions and I was very impressed with all her probing questions. I did ask how long the appointment would take because I either wanted to wait or go into own since I lived an hour away. She encouraged me to either wait or go enjoy the peach festival but it would be about a hour. I waited and she even recommended a brush for my big chocolate lab. I am not going to lie I was expecting a lot. I have high standards and want my monies worth. I even bought the recommended brush she uses in her dogs and OMG it is a life changer! I went ahead and book another appointment 6 weeks later. She is amazing and will recommend to any an all!

The first time I took my dog with me the cashier gave my small dog a TON of large treats at checkout. While I understand this is a nice perk, it was way too many and I wish she would have asked permission before giving her more than one. Another time the cashier acted like I was mean when I told her my dog could only have one treat. I spoil my dog at home but I don't know what treats they use so I didn't want her to go overboard. But the straw that broke the camels back was when I returned something and the computer messed up and the cashier didn't give me the correct amount back. He didn't understand when I tried to explain to him so I had to ask for the manager. When she didn't understand (and seemed to be accusing me of being wrong) she got the head manager. He finally understood and issued the correct refund. But the damage was done. It took too long and too many employees to fix a simple problem. And the customer service from the front line employees was not good. Computer problem or not, a smile and an apology would have gone a long way. The only reason I give this store 2 stars instead of 1 is they have a large selection of chew toys, which is hard to find in Weatherford. Too bad for them that I will be spending my money elsewhere.
