I was being kept awake at night because the scratching was so loud. I was given numerous excuses as to why he couldn't go into my crawl space and attic. His son is the one that would show up to refill the traps but everything else needed to be done by the his father. The majority of the time was out of work with either a shoulder or hip injury. By month 7 I was fed up and needed someone to do something other than refilling bait stations. When I called him to tell him, he yelled at me and called me impatient. Now I'm paying $5000 to have my entire crawl space cleaned, sanitized, and reinsulated. I had just done a remodel a year prior so the damage was done in the time waiting for him to figure out how to take care of the issue. I had Insight Pest Control come in and they were able to take care of the mice in a matter of weeks. They also looked at the bait stations that were left by him (which he never picked up and are still at my house) and told me they were not set up correctly. Ha also told me the entrance that I saw a possum go in was not possible to access my crawl space. The people doing the clean out confirmed that was the entrance the possum was using to get in and sealed it. I'm all for working with small businesses but he crossed the line when he raised his voice at me. I was willing to give many passes. Like having to remind him multiple times to install my crawl space door after already paying for it. He also charged me for a month of service and didn't show up for. Three months later and I'm still getting emails for appointments and follow ups saying that the appointment has been completed. I've checked my account and thankfully I'm not being charged but now I'm wondering how many times did he not show up to my house and I was just paying for empty bait traps.

Within a couple of days two Orkin techs were at my door to introduce themselves and say they were going to do a walkaround. At this point they could have charged me anything to get rid of the darned mosquitos, and I'd have been none the wiser. But after the walkaround, they returned to my door to say that - unfortunately - what really needed spraying were the trees which were technically on my next door neighbor's property instead of my own, and that it didn't make sense to charge me so much to spray just the one tree that is on my own property. While I was sad that they were unable to spray and help me get rid of these darn mosquitoes, I was more than impressed and grateful about what an honest interaction it was. I would gladly hire them again in the future if I have any other pest control issues. Shaw called us back to let us know he is the one coming to do the pest inspection for us...great, we are all set. WRONG!! Day of the appointment comes and Shaw never shows up or calls, we call Orkin...come to find out,, they have call centers and of course, no one knows anything and can't find our appointment in the schedule. Eighty miles round trip and over $5 a gallon for fuel doesn't settle well with me! I'll be calling someone local and who cares about their customer service. We'll see if Orkins upper management calls me back as requested. Doubt it.

He has good knowledge of little pests. He looked behind my stove and blocked some of the entrances, looked under my fireplace and found tiny little footsteps where they had been. Turns out in the winter they like the warmth under the fireplace. He set about three or four traps; one in my garage, one by the outside of the fireplace and one in the backyard. Jonas would come every couple of weeks to check them and show me how much they'd eaten. It's been a couple of months now and I haven't seen any little pests around. Hopefully they won't return. I was very impressed when he did his initial walk around of our house because he then walked me around and showed me places that mice could possibly have access into our home and told me how we could fix those. Matt also recommended we stop treatment after the initial 3 treatments, so I felt there was integrity in his recommendation. I did go ahead and get one additional treatment just to be sure, but I appreciated his recommendation and all his hard work.

I had a big wasp nest in my pantry! Didn't know it for weeks, just thought they were coming in from…read moreoutside. Finally pulled a bin away from shelves and YIKES, a bunch of wasps got mad!! I called Sasquatch Pest control and it took several tries to get on top of this. If the nest was outside, the crew would immediately remove it, but the spray they used was safer here cause I'm still living in the house! They came out yesterday all suited up like astronauts and put in a foam-based pesticide, waited for it to work, and finally used a big shop vac. It took a while! Nest was built all around cables and under shelving and even on top of a violin case! The wasps are FINALLY GONE from my home and I highly recommend Sasquatch Pest Control service. Instead of inferring from the sign of infestation (something that looked like termite frass), Ryan looked and poked around until he found a "suspect." It turned out to be pavement ants, not termites (phew). He gave me an option of me treating it myself or him treating it. Ryan was here for about 40 minutes, looking into the problem and treating it. The total I paid was $150 plus tax, which I think is more than reasonable. He also gave me the pricing for maintenance program for me to think about.
