This is a nice mall with many small businesses. There are some herbal shops that sells all kinds of natural herbs and items, even hard to find herbs that are not available in the US. There are plenty of parking on the second floor if the first floor is full. There is a food court in the center with a variety of food stalls. If you need Chinese herbs and medicine, give this place a try.

Parker Place use to be better. The mall got so dirty. Also lots of stores have closed down especially the part sectioned off in the corner where its hidden (hard to describe where). Most stores here don't interest me at all. They sell Asian cloths for petite size Asian. Also clothing very Asian style. The most popular store here is the BBQ place (which I like). Parking is easy to find now due to popularity going down hill. The most popular section of the mall is the food court. Mostly just the usually Chinese food. Bubble waffle, wonton noodle and etc. Not a big fan here. I used to like eating here at one point. Finding a seat here is not easy. Especially the stage in the middle of the food court has taken so much seating space. The stage is removable. But the question is are they going to remove it any time soon. A very run down mall.

This is I guess one of the older malls in Richmond. The food court is pretty decent, some good places to eat. Honestly I only come here to buy cheap dvds, they have 2 shops in the mall that sell cheap asian dvds. They also have a fish market, a barbecue place, a travel agency I think and some other random shops. Like most malls in Richmond the parking is pretty crappy......

This long time Asian plaza has a lot of food options. A lot of parking but can still be packed at peak times like lunch and dinner. You can find a lot of hk style snacks here like bubble waffle, curry fish balls, fried rice, fried noodle etc. I often come here to order curry food from curry kitchen, my hubby likes the bBq duck with rice next door. There is also fresh seafood store and bbq meat store in this place. Lots Chinese traffic here. Attached are the food court photos I took while waiting for food.

Nothing great. There are many stalls for food selections but food is okay. Many communal tables.

    Review Highlights - Parker Place

The food court is not as fancy as Aberdeen, and it's more on par with Crystal Mall, but it has better parking and you don't get dizzy going around in circles.

It does have anchor tenants at all sides, so remember where you come in from. What I appreciate about this mall is the prices at the food court. I'm not sure if there is an agreement or something, but most of the food operators have at least a couple of items under $10, making it very affordable. Some even sell coffee or tea at under $2. You do see many elderly Asians here, maybe that's why there is cheaper options? They do occupy the tables at the food court chatting for a long period of time. Think of this as another version of Timmies, but with more food options. I was told the T&T here is the largest and it is busy at all hours. The parking area near it is always full. Park elsewhere where it has more empty spots. I like this Asian mini mart (Smart Save) where you can get many food stuff from Asia that are not available in T&T. There is also Langley Farm Market here which has nice produce. There are also Daiso, Dollarama, JYSK, Forum home appliances, etc here. Interesting mix of tenants. Crowded on weekends especially when there are special events in the atrium. It's like a typical mall you will see in Asia, packed with families.

In fact, the multi year transformation that its currently undergoing makes it less of a traditional mall and more of a mini city that has spawned into a mixed-use commercial district. Their use of natural lighting all throughout the space makes it an ideal place for a photo in any corner. In addition to the space, many stores have stepped in with a good number that are high-end to appease all of the new money coming into the city of Richmond. It has become a leisurely destination for families and teenagers as folks roam the mall from corner to corner. One of the most significant transformations has been their food court, which has been dubbed the DiningTERRACE and features a number of food and drink spots. The only downside has been the mediocrity of most spots, which has plenty of room for improvement. Parking is also a mess, especially during the weekend. Folks are constantly competing for space and camping out has become a necessity during their busiest times. As many skyscrapers have been built nearby and it's proximity to the metro rail, this place will only serve to be busier as time goes on. ____________ (#1) 18 years has flown by.

Parking is shared with the Aberdeen Centre parkade. In other words, it's a total war zone on the weekends. This part of the mall has been around for a few years, but it sure is empty. I'm not sure even 1/4 of the retail spaces are occupied. It's pretty dead. Anyone remember Bridgepoint? The redeeming factor (and I guess the only real reason to visit this part of the mall) is the food court. It's gotten better in recent years, but this food court used to be almost completely deserted. Now it looks like word has gotten out, and there is a somewhat decent amount of foot traffic. Food stall turnover is still quite high though. Personally I think of it as a much quieter version of the Aberdeen Centre food court.

This is probably the biggest problem with the mall. Outside of 1-2 restaurants, there is almost reason to come here. There is ample parking throughout the lot which offers drivers an extended time limit to utilize the parking lot. If the driver is going to utilize a business longer than the posted time limit, they should choose a section better suited for the length of time that is needed.
