Unfortunately, there are only a few truly unique candies on offer; most all of the inventory is mass-produced candies and bulk sweets. This is more a retailer than a confectioner, as it seems like they don't really make anything in-house. They do stock local producer Platter's chocolates and sponge candy, and have some other loco-regional treats like Coffee Crisp, but otherwise it feels in most respects like any retail-only candy store. If you happen to be walking/driving by and need a quick glucose fix, feel to stop in if you have a few minutes and patronize a small business; just don't feel the need to head out of your way for it.

The person who waited on me was very friendly and accommodating, giving me a bit of history on the shop while I shopped. I think it would be great if they made some of their popcorn on site to give it more of a fresh feel. One bummer is they don't have kettle corn - the employee said it's because the process gunks up the popcorn maker. This is one of my favorites and I was hoping they'd have it. They do sell a brand of microwave kettle corn that they recommend - no thanks. I forgot to add that none of their popcorns are guaranteed gluten-free - you can read the ingredients to check but they could always have cross-contaminates - just a warning if you have Celiac Disease.

I think it's the best in WNY. They have it is chocolate, dark and orange. My favorite is orange chocolate and we stop every so often for miniatures. During Easter we bought chocolate cover marshmallows sprinkles with nuts. Those were divine. This is a definite chocolate stop for everyone. Once you come here you will come back. Then as they pull it and shape it, the candy becomes hard. Finally, the candy makers break off pieces like shattering glass and give you the little pieces to try. Warm hard candy is so tasty!
